Worst customer service. I just went and I wanted to buy a bottle of captain Morgan and I forgot my id in my car. The guy with the beard only ask me for my age which did not felt right, he definitely thought I am not old enough to buy alcohol which is fine, but as a alcohol seller you always ask for id and not only that he warned me if I was lying he was gonna get me and that's definitely wrong he treated me as a delinquent. People deserve to be respected and treated not only as a customer but as a person. I hope all personal in the store can follow the correct procedures to sell their alcohol and always check for id's read more

You know...this store is great, amazingly clean and friendly and their selection of meats, Mexican foods, and dry goods is great. The alcohol selection is amazing. I have serious issue with it being called an egg market though. The selection of eggs is horrible for an "egg market." Where are the ostrich eggs? The dove eggs? The duck and goose eggs? I'm not from this area, I visit occasionally for work - I stopped to fill my water bottles from the purified water dispenser in the parking lot; there's a small sink outside for customers to wash their hands. the owner scolded me for washing the tops of my bottles off - he mistakenly thought I was filling them up and rinsing them out. The water is more expensive than anywhere else $.50 a gallon plus $.10 to use your card. I filled up six gallon bottles. I don't know whether it was his arrogance or ignorance that put me off - nevertheless, it's a shame I've been coming here almost 10 years consistently now I need to drive further to take my business elsewhere. read more

If I could leave less than i star I would. I bought Arracherra Carne Asada meat 3 Lbs at the prices right now it was about $45.00 I shopped around and bought sides and drinks to accommodate my order. To my surprise as My grill is on, and the meat I bought was a much less quality beef product palomia. I was very upset and returned the meat. I asked the front cashiers that the meat department gave me the wrong meat. At this point a aggressive loud Arabic boss or owner yelled that they didn't not take meat returns. I said I didn't want the trash meat. Then he the owner demanded I walk with him to the meat Counter as to confront me for my accusations. The workers timidly responded that I did order the product I request. Owner said I grabbed someone's else's order. As a customer I received the bag giving to me. Also spend a good amount of time buying other items to the expense of $100. At any point in my shopping they could have said I didn't have the right order. The owner told me to not come back. This man is clearly abusive to his workers and anyone around him . Stay clear of this establishment as he thinks his own Latino clients don't have the nerve to stand up to his prejudice ways. read more

I went in her to buy a bottle of bourbon. The lady told me it was a different price than was on the bottle. She called the owner, Marvin, and he said to,sell it at the scanned price. That's illegal. The difference was only $10 but the principle stands. After three years of shopping there I will never go there again. They aren't honest. read more

The owner also a police officer said my hands were not clean enough to buy from his market. As i was leaving he yelled "f****** b****". The day before an elderly man wearing a mask sneezed and was run out of the store for it from security. At another date I was standing in lime as the markings on the floor indicated and the owner ran out of his room and ran towards me thinking I was stealing because the markings on the floor landed in between aisles. This is just three examples of discrimination and the rude service not to mention over priced items. read more

I moved this direction about a year ago when Shadowridge began to suffocate me. What I thought I'd miss most was the loving and caring friends I made in the local businesses. Who needs Shadowridge with Albertsons over priced groceries and overworked staff, now I have the Egg Market where everything I need (and things I didn't know I needed) are right here. Obviously a tight ship run by an owner who is congenial and kind and experienced in the service industry with a staff that always greets me with kindness. And the prices can't be beat. read more

I've never seen such horrible customer service at a local market. I've lived at this area for 30 years dropped in there to make a small purchase and they demanded to see my ID. Sure local make sure you shop somewhere else they don't value local neighborhood business. I won't even get into their exaggeratedly overpriced products everything here is at least two or three dollars normal price. This used to be a family-run business buy a local family whoever owns this stylish but now it should be ashamed of how they're overcharging local residents. This market is hidden off Sycamore near the Millcreek Apartments. They have a truck outside their store that advertises a great selection of craft beer, and that's what caught my attention. The same day I saw this yesterday, I went back to check out their election and pricing...I was really disappointed. Not only do they carry only a quarter of what is actually out there, but their prices for all their beers is extremely pricey compared to your Ralph's and other main liquor stores. I have never seen prices for a six pack to be $13!! Other than that, this market is family operated and is also connected to the Mexican/pizza place right next door. Service here wasnt all that great either, I think their daughters were working who didn't know anything about craft beer and the appreciation of a customer taking time to buy w.e. beer. I spent nearly 20min in there before I decided, and one of the girls was rushing me to get out....not cool. Anyways, change your prices and work on your customer service!! read more

I found this place online, was going to purchase a bottle over 2K. I contacted them to proceed with the sale, then they told me they do not take PayPal after being on the website as a method of payment, then they didn't want me to place the order online because they would have to pay fees to marketing company (According to Marcos)And the final straw was they would take payment over the phone but would charge taxes to a sale out of state. I have purchased many bottles from different states and none charge taxes to out of state sales. After asking Marcos (I'm assuming the manager) he said will ask the owner and will get back. The only message from him was (We decline the sale) Is this the right to treat a customer that was going to spend over 2K??? Sounds to me like a greedy way to sell by trying to avoid all the fees and not to care about customers at all. What a shame...... read more

Marvins egg market is the one stop shop for everything you need. i have been coming here for years and the selection of beer is amazing, you simply cannot find more beer anywhere in north county. Marvin himself is the nicest guy you'll meet and seems to know everyone that walks in the door. on top of all the great things he's has in his store he also has a pizza/Mexican restaurant. this Mexican food is hands down the best i have ever had and his carnitas has ruined other Mexican food for me, i have been searching for the past decade for better carnitas with no luck. this place is amazing an inexpensive and the staff have always been friendly and accommodating. read more

This store is great, I go there when my hubby has the car and I don't want to go far I need a couple things from the store. The people who work there don't seem friendly. There is a guy who is also in the front sometimes and he is very helpful and very nice. The people in the meat section though are so kind. All in all this is a great place they just need to have the people in the front train on customer service, smile and be happy. read more
