Ordered their Paneer Gotala and Samosa Roll. Both were yummy with comforting Indian taste. Was happy to see they had special customizable option for Jain on uber eats while ordering.

I recently went here for a weekday lunch and got the tandoori chicken with rice to go. The portion size and price were reasonable for downtown DC. Despite the restaurant being fairly quiet, it took a while for my food to arrive. The chicken was charred to black in some places; otherwise it was juicy, well-seasoned, and well-cooked. The chicken-to-rice ratio was fantastic, with lots of chicken and not too much rice. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the lime and onions added freshness to the dish. I would recommend Eggholic for a work lunch.

You're hearing it from a Mumbai-born Indian with picky tastes! This place is spectacular! The service was superb, the staff were so nice and friendly, and there was ample seating. Huge menu selection with all kinds of flavors and tastes for an array of palates. You can make the food Indian spicy or keep it mild. The food is absolutely mindblowingly delicious--flavorful, unique, fresh ingredients, and generous portions for the price and location. They have an app and you get $10 off during your birthday month. Earn rewards, eat often! Opened just three weeks ago. I hope they have a long future here in downtown DC. This is my new go-to spot! I'll definitely be back to try one of their many items.

Overall the restaurant was very clean especially the bathroom given being located in DC. However the food was mediocre at best but the concept of the restaurant is very unique. I really liked the egg theme of the menu but the delivery was a bit of a miss. I ordered the butter masala chicken for $18 and given the price you would think it comes with rice or bread but it did not, I had to order those items additionally (Heads up: the bread is plain white bread) The food was a bit tasteless and bland. One of my friends got the chicken masala sandwich which was notably better. Given the unique concept of the restaurant I would greatly appreciate a bit of explanation from the staff on how to order.

Eggholic is a nice addition to DC serving traditional Indian street food as well as some Indian classics of paneer, vegetarian and chicken curries Id say Eggholic is more of a lunch spot and recommend sticking to the street food specialties rather than the regular curries, though they are pretty decent if that's what you are craving. Bombay style vegetable sandwich was great, highly recommend The masala papad was mid, skip this

EggHolic is hands down the best restaurant that I've tried in DC all year. It's an Indian restaurant that serves mostly vegetarian food, but also has meat options, which I believe is halal. We got two types of grilled cheese sandwiches and they were perfect in every way. The flavor and seasoning was legendary, the texture was perfect, and the service was great, all at a reasonable price too. I plan on coming back here many more times.

Outstanding food. Their thali is flavorful. All the curries are well made. You can tell they put a lot of care in the details in seeing how finely shredded the paneer is in the curry or the bite sized pieces of boiled egg. Highly recommend!

One of the mornings we ate here, one host was being aggressive to a server about the seating map. It was an awkward interaction to witness right before being seated. The food itself is fine, but the price is absurd for what you are ordering. I got a charred caesar salad with chicken on the side for $50 for takeout lunch. We tried the almond granola parfait and harvest grain porridge which were ok. One morning I didn't have much of an appetite so just got eggs and had two separate servers ask me why I didn't finish them and if I didn't like the eggs. The outside seating looked nice, but we were only offered indoor seating during our stay which was fine. It seems like they are a better spot for dinner. It feels a bit like an underground restaurant with the indoor seating for two. Our servers were kind and the food was ok.

Bottomless mimosas- SO worth the extra $ Standout dishes: Adana meatballs Braised lamb Chicken Golden cauliflower Crispy Falafel Desserts: Baklava Brownie Kadayıf Sadly we did not get to experience all of the brunch menu items because brunch ends at 3pm and our reservations were at the heel of this time. Was warmly greeted, seated, and given an overview of the menu and brunch package options; decided to opt-out of the bottomless drinks, which had an alcoholic (mimosas and Bloody Marys) and NA (juices, sodas, drip coffee and black tea), as I wanted to try their more speciality coffee and tea. The drinks I ordered were the Turkish coffee, Levantine-style tea and digestive tea. All were quite solid. The Turkish coffee was as robust as espresso, yet not overwhelmingly bitter and slightly sweetened. The Levantine tea was a smooth black tea with natural sweetness and layered with a mint steep and floral notes of hibiscus, and rose petal. The digestive was more herbaceous with fennel and pomegranate zest, in addition to a steep of spearmint. The food was more hit-or-miss. On one hand, the meat and seafood was all very delicious and well-made. The braised lamb shank is their speciality, and well-deserved, as it's moist, savory and tender. The short rib similarly so, and the chicken casserole, lamb biajeen, Adana kebab and steamed lavraki (sea bass) were all similarly flavorful. On the other hand, the sides and mezze options were more mixed; the dolmas and fresh bites cheese with za'atar/nuts were delightful, however, the borek, cheeses, and some of the dips tasted reheated and/or not super fresh, the Brussels sprouts were quite scorched, and the savory salmon waffles were bone dry and flavorless. The French onion soup had the right flavor profile, but not the intensity; it tasted watered-down and even looked it, due to the noticeable oil blebs on the surface. Dessert was similar; the melon and fruits were fresh enough, the yogurt bar was quality, the kadayif nutty with the sweetness balanced, and the layali lubnan was intoxicatingly tasty, but many of the baked goods looked rather packaged and the fondue station was mediocre. The staff, however, were extremely friendly (my special regards to Mia, she's a great conversationalist and a sweetheart!). They answered all my questions, and one of the bartenders even gave me half a lemon to zuzh up my tea with. As I said at the start, more 3.5 stars than 3 stars. The core of their offerings are all quality, so I can't quite dock them a full two stars for the food quality because they had buffets aren't usually renown for said quality. You really can't expect perfection from AYCE, even though I naturally encourage the management to avoid sourcing pre-made items from Sysco if possible. The friendly staff and eloquent Eastern Mediterranean ambiance allows me to still say I enjoyed this experience, and may be back for dinner in the future.
