No clue why I gave it 4 stars originally. I come here all the time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best Chinese food and it's the cleanest.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here with high expectations. Services was prompt & excellent. Dishes were well wrapped in plastic to prevent leakage on the way home. The food was very underwhelming, expensive for take out, & bordered on bad. First up; the good. Wonton soup had delicious wontons in nondescript yellow broth. Char due ding had nice amount of roast pork but was swimming in a salty, gloppy sauce. Dietary vegetable lo mein was so dietary, it was missing most of the vegetables and flavor. Beef & broccoli; beef was treated with corn starch to give it a soft, but gelatinous texture. Boneless ribs were overly chewy and expensive. All the sauces had separated in each dish by time I got the food home; oil swimming on top of a brown sauce. When you have 2 cuisines in the same restaurant, this one being Chinese & Peruvian, at least one of them isn't up to snuff. In this case, the Chinese food is just ordinary take out. Plus, they charge 3.65% to use a charge card.

Right now they are only doing takeout. This place has great Peruvian-Chinese fusion food. It's called Chifa. You have to ask for the Chifa menu or ask for the Peruvian style menu. I am including pictures of the menu here because the website doesn't have it. For us, the flavors are way better than typical American (boring and over thick sauced) Chinese food. Everything is good but we usually get the wonton soup (sopa wonton) the mixed fried rice (arroz chaufa mixto) and the fried chicken chunks (chicharron de pollo) with the lime sauce...we always get food here when we are doing parties. The owner is super cool and they have been there for more than 20 years...

Stopped by for lunch with my co-worker and liked that there were two menu options (Chinese menu or Peruvian menu). Since I'm half Peruvian I tried the arroz chaufa de pollo and it did not disappoint. The portion was HUGE, I took some to go! The flavor was excellent I especially liked the mix of green onions in the rice. The place is small but the booth seating it pretty comfy. Service was quick and friendly. I would recommend you give it a try If you're in the area.

It comes with a can of soda, appetizer and entree. This is valid Monday through Friday from 11:30am to 4pm. It is a great value. I ordered Causa for my appetizer. It is a potato with avocado, your choice of chicken or tuna and sliced egg. I chose the chicken. This appetizer was OK. I ate most of it but would not order it again. It lacked flavor. I ordered Lomo Saltado. This is beef tenderloin with a delicious sauce and white rice and fries. This was delicious. My friend ordered ceviche and a different entree. It looked similar to mine. I forgot the name.of it. She was happy with her lunch. Our server was excellent. He was very attentive and helpful with suggestions.

The restaurant is small, with room for about 40 diners. It's bright and airy and on a Monday afternoon at lunchtime the World Cup games blasted on the TV and the restaurant was about half full. It features lunch specials for less than $20 that include an appetizer, entree, and beverage. There was one main server and what seemed like an owner, who also was serving. She served us and though she lagged at times, she was very congenial. Hubby had the lomo saltado lunch special and paid extra for a ceviche appetizer. I love tacu tacu, so I had a pollo saltado with the rice dish. Both meals were delicious. We especially liked that they weren't too salty (often a problem with Peruvian saltado dishes). And I asked to have my onions cooked well and they obliged. My onions were perfect, cooked but with a slight crunch. I was a bit disappointed in the tacu tacu. I thought it was a tad dry. The gravy did help, but I didn't have enough and didn't think it possible to ask for more. Next time I will ask for extra gravy and stick with plain rice. They charge an extra 4% to use a credit card. (Something that has been cropping up a lot in restaurants.) We managed to dig out $65 cash between us to pay the bill. I guess we have to start carrying more cash, or pay the extra charges.

They were also able to provide us with separate checks with no fuss! This was a great plus for us. Overall I was glad with the quality and the variety they had. All the foods were freshly prepared, and arrived relatively fast to our table, so we all We're able to start eating and enjoying our food together. They also have a lunch menu! It is a reduced portion of their menu as it includes only 5 choices, but the choices are good enough that they are a great sampler of the food and the portion size is abundant! We all took some home for dinner! This time we did not taste their desserts, but I have such a craving for the chocolate cake that looked delicious, that I'm sure I'll be back soon! I ordered the tenderloin over the huancaina risotto and it was a huge portion (not a lunch menu item). The sauce was a bit salty so I did not take it "to go", just the delicious risotto and the tenderloin chunks. Three friends ordered the "trio" sampler with ceviche, fried calamari and some risotto; a couple friends ordered the sautéed chicken with white rice and French fries that looked spectacular, and a couple other friends ordered the fettuccini in huancaina sauce with the breaded chicken filet that was a humongous dish and very yummy! Finally one friend ordered a Maki Sushi roll that was beautifully plated, and another ordered the seafood risotto that was also very yummy. Everything smelled and looked like something I would've loved to have... so juat Enjoy and come back for more! Don't forget to check the last page for those lunch specials!

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago!
