I walked into Eggs Up Grill excited to try it for the first time, sat down, and waited about 6 minutes without anyone greeting me or acknowledging that I was there. The waitress clearly saw me come in, continued eating, and never once checked on me. Then the moment another customer walked in, she walked right past me to greet and seat him before the door even shut. I felt completely invisible. I ended up walking out without ever being served. Found this franchise in GA and loved their menu and atmosphere. When we traveled to Camden I looked for a breakfast place and saw this one listed. They were open and we got here to find a wait line in spite the fact I called and was told no wait. They sat us quickly. I could tell this place is popular and the community is friendly. I ordered my eggs med well. There is a 1/3 portion of the menu describing the way to order eggs. I think the cook need to read it every 15 minutes. This was not med well. The pancakes are amazing. Light and fluffy. Hash was good, nothing eggceptional. I asked for a coffee to go and got a 6oz cup. The last Eggs Up I got. 12oz I will come here again if we stay longer read more

Upon arrival we were seated at a booth, but requested a table due to the fact my mother or I one would not be able to reach the food on table due to how far the boothes were if I pulled towards her I could barely reach mine without hurting my back, so we ask fir a table and they sat us immediately at a table. The server was wonderful she ask us if we wanted coffee my mother said she did, the coffee was barely warm and a bit old tasting. The server got her some juice instead. She came and ask how our meal was we both agreed good. She inquired if we needed anything else we both said no. The place was getting crowded so we finished up and thanked our server again. The place was pretty clean and there was a young man that was checking on everyone making sure they had coffee or whatever might need to enjoy their meal without delay, I thought that was so nice, he was very cordial. One of the servers and he had a bit of an accident and he went immediately cleaned up the mess, a glass of sorts broke and continued to clean the floor so that it was not sticky. It was great to see how they both worked together to get the mess cleaned up so that no one stepped or slipped in it. But our overall opinion was it was very good, and will return again. The service was pretty good! We were sat right away and all the staff we could see were super friendly. The atmosphere and cleanliness are really good. My biggest thing is that the food doesn't match the service!! We got grilled cheese, with fruit. Extra buttery dripping bread with cheese packed inside. Okay. Next is one of my favorites the classic shrimp and grits. All of the ingredients tasted bland and honestly I was even more than disappointed in the quality of the food. Once the staff saw and even heard we weren't enjoying the quality of the food, they came forward saying how they've heard it before. Not trying to expose your staff, cause the service was AMAZING. We arrived and checked in, I will say the young lady that checked us in didn't seem all that pleasant. We sat and waited for about 5 minutes and then we're called to be seated. I always order my side of grits every day prior to me volunteering so I can get it on the way to work and it's never ready. I order it about 25 to 30 minutes in advance. Also when I come there if the parking lot is overflowed I typically just park in front of the building with my flashers on because it doesn't say no parking and they don't have parking for pick up and my order should be already ready but of course it's never ready personally, I just feel like they need to get stuff together and have a better system. Maybe mark off so I'm closer parking spots for pick up or out loud for curbside delivery where we just pull up and they bring it to us other than that they just need to stop doing to go orders because it's never ready. read more
