I have been anticipating eating here for awhile now and finally got the chance to go with my boyfriend this past weekend. The food tastes as good as it looks in pictures and definitely lived up to my expectations. The food is well seasoned and the perfect weekend breakfast. I really wanted to like this place, but was sadly disappointed. We go to Chase's all the time, so I really expected this to be on par. It's a much different experience and I was surprised by how the small the portions were. We came here on a Sunday morning, ready for brunch and mimosas. You have to go to the counter to order and find a table outside. We all ordered breakfast sandwiches after each other and our orders came out about 20 minutes apart. I ordered the "Wake Up to Chrisket!" sandwich with the cheese hashbrown fritters. The fritters were pretty small and only came with 4 in the order, so everyone got one. Luckily, it wasn't a big deal because nobody liked them. They were kinda doughy in the middle and didn't have much flavor. I was pretty disappointed in my sandwich, other than the fact that it was small, my egg was overcooked, so it was also dry. My husband's sandwich had a beautiful gooey egg, so I was definitely jealous. Service doesn't really exist here. They're nice, but they only come to drop off your order and that's about it. I order to go from here often for a quick breakfast sando. I like their brisket breakfast sandwich. It has your choice of bagel or brioche, and I get the fluffy brioche every time. The sandwich has tender brisket, over easy egg, cheese, aioli, and arugula. It's delicious. I also love their potato fritters. They're fried and come with a spicy mayo. I highly recommend them. I would recommend the brisket over the Classic had a lot more flavor. I like my eggs over easy, but it does tend to get messy and make the buns sticky. The overall sandwich is now bland by compare and less appealing. I also tried their flight of Mimosas ($12) that comes with a small bottle of Le Grand Courtage France and your choice of three of their flavors. I opted for the Hawaiian (Malibu, pineapple juice, grenadine, pineapple and cherry), Lavender Love (infused lavender syrup and lavender sprig), and Raspberry (raspberry puree and fresh raspberries). The flavors were not well developed and all tasted pretty watered down. Overall, I still feel like they are pretty good, but I am no longer in no rush to return. But, smelled and looked delicious. 1st bite was great......however, 2nd bite was basically a mouthful of inedible fat which I had to spit out after chewing a bit. A pet peeve of mine is when chef's do not trim the fat on meats when putting them in a sandwich. If I order this again, I'll inspect the meat and trim if necessary. I've eaten at Chases before, but not the breakfast portion. We ordered online and were told 15 mins which was perfect timing since it took us about that long to get out this way from Rancho. Like most have mentioned this is similar to eggslut in LA, but closer and just about as good. I ordered the veggie-licious and switched at the brioche bun for a biscuit at no extra charge and loved it. The biscuit was flavorful as was the rest of the sandwich, although a bit messy. The classic was great! It had a good mix of ingredients and was filling without feeling super stuffed. The sauce was good and only enhanced the sandwich without over powering it. The fine folks at Chase's known for their juicy meats have created something pretty good here for the breakfast crowd. In the same building as lunch and dinner restaurant is EGGSactly. The experience kicks off with their cool gizmo of a juice machine that squeezes the best out of a basket of oranges to make some OJ right in front of your eyes. So you know it's fresh! I ordered the Classic and the Croque Madame. Delicious as they were and recommended, but I was disappointed that my Classic was missing my much anticipated bacon and my poached eggs were over cooked on my Madame. Amazing amazing sandwiches for a great price. Seating at the restaurant sucks as there is only one table and limited bar seating inside with about 4 tables outside. They only have brewed coffee and orange juice, no specialty coffees. Coffee was decent. Orange juice is freshly squeezed so it must taste great (haven't tried). The crab Benedict is flavorful and surprisingly fresh (no stinky seafood smell). The classic and D street was ok for those who aren't adventurous. The Chrisket was excellent but very filling. The vegetarian was surprisingly tasty, much better flavors than the caprese. The Chile verde is the most flavorful but also the heavy. All of them are messy because of the sauces or the runny eggs (you can decide how they are cooked). I've had Eggslut a lot and I feel like this is more variety, better customer service (and no epic line). This encouraged us to try out the Chase restaurant next to it (which owns Eggsactly). My husband ordered the wake up to Chrisket (over medium egg, 16 hour hickory smoked brisket, smoked havarti, arugula, and caramelized onion aioli on toasted brioche). I ordered the crab benedict (panko crusted crab cake, hollandaise, over medium egg and arugula on toasted brioche), which upon first impression tasted delicious after a few bites (runny egg and all) until I came across three crab shells, one of which was larger than the other two. It did take a little long for our food to come out, but I was ok with that because everything tasted fresh.
