Twist tie found in my fish taco.

The food was horrible and the wait was longer than promised. We were told 15 minutes to pick up food and it took 35 minutes. When we got home, the fish taco had a twist tie in it and the food was overall disappointing. We ordered Tacos, churros, fish taco and chalupa. This was the first and last time we will patronize this restaurant.

Working close by I decided to stop and try this place- first impressions are everything- [[HIGHLIGHT]]walking in restaurant was clean, I noticed an A health grade on window.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One cashier/waitress. I ordered 2 tacos and a cucumber/lime drink. The drink I give it a 10- tasted fresh and authentic- taco? Missing flavor! Meat had a lot of fat.. and guacamole on top no flavor.. salsas. Creamy but not my kinda salsa for tacos I'd like. Overall I give them a hard 3 star.

First time trying this little hole in the wall hidden in La Verne. I had to try their burrito since it looked delicious on the menu and a patron just served next to us. The wet red/green shrimp burrito minus the beans was delicious 9/10. The wifey ordered the taquitos and a tostada which also didn't disappoint 9/10. The chips and salsa 8/10 were a nice starter. The only disappointment was the service. Waitress did not write down our order and she completely forgot the tostada which came about 10 minutes later. We were checked in on once and we waited about 15 minutes for the check after finishing our meal. She wasn't extremely busy so the missed entree and extra wait could've easily made this a 3 star review. The cook saved the day thankfully. We'll give it another try again.

2 very tiny Tacos Dorados covered in lettuce.

I got the tacos dorados. 1 beef and 1 chicken. The girl asked if I wanted everything on them. I said yes please. What I got was 2 very tiny 2 bite tacos hidden in lettuce. The chicken one has no flavor and the beef one was 60% fat. I asked the girl if they had any lunch specials or any taco Tuesday specials. It was also cinco de mayo and they didn't have any specials. My wife got 2 asada tacos. 1 of her tacos had more meat than both mine together. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was 2 places to sit because the other tables hadn't been cleaned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress were nice and asked if we wanted anything else. That was the only thing good. Food was not worth the price.

I decided to give this local restaurant a second try yesterday morning and the quality of customer service was the biggest change. Our server was very welcoming, professional, and attentive. She greeted us at the door and checked in on our table periodically. Huge difference from my first experience here. The main highlight from breakfast was the Champurrado. You can taste the authentic Mexican flavors, it wasn't soupy or clumpy and it was served at the right temperature. One cup of this deliciousness is filling. So good! The food on the other hand was okay. I ordered the chorizo with eggs which came with a side of beans. The beans were beans but they were good. The chorizo had a weird taste, tangy almost, no hint of spicy flavor. Bummer. My husband ordered chilaquiles served with two eggs, chopped steak, and beans. I can't really comment on flavor of his dish but he finished his plate. Overall, this is a comfortable spot for a warm mug of Champurrado. The restaurant is small but there is ample space.

It was our first time so I can't compare Amy of the food. I got pork pozole and it was underwhelming. My husbands bean and cheese burrito was good but small. Store is clean and colorful. The server was blunt but sweet.

It was just ok. We were looking for authentic Mexican food in the area. The restaurant was nice, the service was really good. The food was hit and miss. The menudo was a hit. It had good flavor and lots of meat. The asada soft taco was also a hit. The meat was tender, the tortillas were fresh, and it included guacamole. The rice and beans were ok. The enchilada was also ok. The salsa was a total miss. It had a sweeter taste to it, and had no real spice at all. The salsa really matters when eating Mexican food, and it just wasn't the best.

Came for the first time. Had the Menudo and it was delicious, the waitress As was very welcoming and the vibe was great to enjoy my brunch to start my day.

Found this place on yelp, thought id try it out. Started off ordering just the Cucumber Agua Fresca and it's really good! I order one every time I stop by. Food is amazing, service is amazing. Taco Tuesday deals are the best. Food is consistent in flavor, presentation. Inside is very clean! Not too loud in there. Definitely would recommend for food!

Chilaquiles with Eggs & Red sauce

I've been coming here for a few months, but this was my first time trying the breakfast. Overall, the experience was great--the staff was friendly, and the café de olla had a rich, authentic Mexican coffee flavor. My wife ordered the champurrado, it was thick, sweet and chocolatyand it was amazing. We both had the chilaquiles: she got the red, and I got the green. Both were delicious. The portions are big, which is definitely a plus.

Great food. Best prices for taco Tuesday and always clean. The taquitos are the best, and the burrito is tasty.

Nevertheless, the cashier was super friendly and even brought my food and drink out to my table. I was delighted to discover just how generous the meat portions were in the chicken, carnitas, al pastor, and buche tacos! The meat was practically overflowing at times, which I definitely appreciated since sometimes it can feel like you're eating more tortilla than filling haha. In the moment, I only managed to eat 2 of my 4 tacos and ended up saving the other 2 for later. Still just as good! As for the Cucumber Lime Agua Fresca, I loved how huge the cup was, and it was indeed super refreshing. Perfect for a hot day!! Overall, I enjoyed how spacious the restaurant was inside. If I ever came back with a group, there would definitely be plenty of seating available.

Not spectacular or phenomenal Mexican food but decent. My biggest problem with this place is they are way too slow. You can come late in the afternoon after the lunch rush-hour and they are still way slow with only just two or three tables with people. Seriously too slow. No excuse for this other than management is NOT on top of their game. They need to step it up or they or they are going to lose business. You can't operate like this let alone in a downtown environment.

I was hoping they would have a Taco Tuesday special or something but they don't... I ordered 2 carne asada and 1 al pastor tacos to go. They were prettty solid and delicious! Carne asada was really nice, the al pastor was definitely more flavorful, but it had more of the burnt ends, so it was either even more flavorful from the charred parts, or it was a bit hard and too crispy to have. Overall, still pretty nice though. I liked how they had the side bar, which it doesn't look entirely the cleanest, but pretty decent. Total for 3 tacos came out to be $9, so it's about $3 each. Kinda high for tacos imo, but they're pretty good.

Parking is limited, so we were happy to snag one of the last spots. This is an order-at-the-counter spot with a salsa bar, hot beans, indoor and outdoor seating, and even Mexican Coke. Indoor seating is also pretty limited, so my friend and I were glad to grab one of the small tables. I ordered the lengua and asada tacos and both were flavorful, tender, and loaded with meat. I was honestly too hungry and eager to take a picture beforehand, but I can assure you the portions are plentiful. The tacos were a little greasy, but still really satisfying. Solid taco spot if you're in Pomona.
