I have been here numerous times and I have yet to leave them a review. First off this restaurant is nice and clean. From the moment you first walk in to when you leave every staff member there is extremely helpful and friendly. They provide great service and help answer any questions. Now the food. The food here is so bomb. I have tried multiple meals here but my all time favorite is the pulled pork benedict which is always delicious and flavorful. You have to try the twisted potatoes. My favorite is the cheddar cheese or blue cheese with bacon on them. They are cheesy and delicious. They always have good drinks here as well. I always enjoy the mimosa flight. They always have a seasonal menu which is always pretty good as well. This past month they had banana foster french toast and I wish this was a permanent menu item. It is so good especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. They also have delicious cinnamon rolls and bread pudding as well. I can't wait to come back and have some brunch again. Wonderful service and such a peaceful outdoor seating area. My husband and I are still able to eat healthy and that's a huge win! I highly recommend this place I forgot to mention that their coffee is amazing!
The potato twists are so good! We ordered chipotle and the blue cheese potato twists. They are so worth the upgrade from the regular potatos. We ordered the steak omelette, which had overcooked and kind of chewy steak. Regardless, the potato twists saved the day. Overall would recommend! There is usually a 30+ minute wait but the potatoes were well worth the wait. Can't wait to try all the other styles and flavors!
Arrived on a Tuesday morning around 8ish after doing a canyon run with my team of 10 and the staff were already super responsive and helped us on-site. We got the table outside and the scenery is very nice and relaxing, I enjoyed the laid back vibe and can see myself coming back here very frequently. Besides the service and ambiance the food was definitely on point! Lots of yummy breakfast classics as well lunch options. The one that got me hooked was the salads and wraps and the option to make a salad into a wrap. Perfect for a morning start! Overall the price was also fair and I definitely find it one of the top places I would recommend anyone who is near the area! Also thank you to the server who took care of us as she was super patient with me and my team and checked on us frequently!
Back again to celebrate another birthday breakfast. This time we shared the breakfast burger and added side of macaroni and cheese, to me, both were just okay. I enjoyed the chai latte. Anthony provided great customer service, thank you!
Landed in CA today for a meeting this week. Met up with friends for a late breakfast. 3 bodies - one stomach. Yep 2 of us don't have a stomach. So we shared. Mac and cheese. Absolute yum. The cheese sauce is so flavorful. Twisted potatoes with chipotle cheddar. Divinity is an understatement. I've never had such good potatoes in my life. The chipotle and the melty cheese were just perfection. The potatoes were cooked well. I hate it when potatoes are hard and still kind of raw. This was not a problem. Holy goddess. Delicious. French toast. The berry jam was so so so good. The French toast was perfect. The powder sugar was chefs kiss. Side of bacon. I'm a crispy crisp bacon fan. It wasn't really crispy it was chewy but it was flavorful so I'd get again. My caramel latte- fantastic! My friend got a dirty chai and now will never get a regular chai. We are outside. I'm from Chicago and I left "feels like 2" and very much enjoyed the 68 degrees. Patron / music noise level not a problem. Birds in the bush though - they were the loud Karen gossips of the day. So. Much. Bird. Drama. Distracting ;) We had a very kind waiter who took good care of us. It's a busy place so don't feel afraid to wave them down. Very happy diner. My stomachless self ate a bit too much and I have zero regrets.

I was in a hunt for the best country fried steak with gravy and THIS BISCUIT and GRAVY!!! The biscuits are made with green onion, cheddar & bacon !! YUMMM The gravy is just soooo good too !! It is made with homemade sausage, if you love sausage. So you have to order the OG Breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy to get a complete meal; eggs, protein, & YUMMM ! The sausage is homemade and they put lots of great seasonings! It's perfect ! So this is what you get : OG BREAKFAST two eggs your style, red potatoes, baguette and your choice of meat -applewood bacon -sausage -chicken sausage -flat iron ham steak And you order : BISCUIT & GRAVY scratch-made buttermilk biscuit made with bacon, cheddar, scallions, topped with our homemade sausage grav. If you go with a friend or your partner in Yelping lol, the biscuit is big enough to share. I never finish it, but then again the hubby might want the whole serving to himself. The pulled pork benedict is also good. The coffee is ok it's Stumptown coffee. The chai latte is my go to. It's pretty loud in here so you may want to ask for the patio if it's not too cold, or hot for you. Unfortunately, the last time I came with my friend, there were two hosts and they were very rude. I had never experienced this attitude here before. I've always had the best friendly service even when it was jammed packed and had to wait 30-45 minutes for a table. I forgot their names, as this was the past summer. I love my favorite meal here so hopefully next time they're not there. Have you been here ? Let me know what you try. Always have enjoyed this place for breakfast or lunch. It's been over a year since last time I came here. My wife and I usually split the fig burger and the apple salad. This time we just went with the drunken fig burger. Wait was about 20-25 minutes at noon on a Tuesday. We sat outside even though it was chilly to save some time. Service was great and enjoyed what we ate. I will say it seems to me the portion size is just a little smaller than before- so splitting the burger may not be as easy. Opted to stay with the chips vs upgrading a better side dish. I like that that is an option.
Everything is always so good here. The wait to get in was about 15 minutes on a Friday morning which wasn't bad because of how busy it was. I brought my little sister, she got the 2 orders of biscuits and gravy, I got the country omelette with twisted blu cheese & bacon. Nothing disappointed us. We love that the gravy is homemade as well so it has such a great taste. We can't wait to come back and enjoy breakfast next time I'm in the area.
Came for lunch and ordered a pastrami sandwich that comes with kettle chips. I absolutely love cheese and they nailed it. The perfect amount of pastrami and cheese the addition of the homemade pickles makes this sandwich one of my favorites! I can during lunch and it was a bit busy but was sat at the bar almost immediately. The host and waitress were very attentive and welcoming - thank you to them! Ambience is nice and cozy. I think I'll try and sit outside next time it looked really nice out there. I will definitely try and come back for breakfast because the breakfast menus items sound delicious. Although they do serve breakfast al day .. my kind of place
My absolute favorite thing from this place are their twisted chipotle cheddar potatoes! They are so good and they never miss. Everything on their menu is good. I even tried a mimosa flight one time and that was good too. This place gets very packed on the weekends but during the week it is better. Service is good and ambiance is casual.
My girlfriends and I came after a morning hike. There was a 20-25 minute wait. There is some indoor seats and more outdoor seating. They have their own parking lot so parking was easy. The food was delicious. There was a wide selection to choose from. I really liked my Mediterranean Omelet. It was tasty and great portioned. They didn't skimp on the filling either! My girlfriends enjoyed their meal as well. We shared a French Toast and it was good. It was different from others I have had...they use baguettes. I love trying seasonal drinks, so I couldn't pass up the Pumpkin Pie Latte. I am class I had it. It was very yummy and not overly sweet. Our server was right; it tasted like pumpkin pie. I will definitely come back with my family.
5 stars for their outdoor patio area. Dog friendly which I loved and the tables are spaced very far which is really nice. Nice cool and shady on a hot day. Only had a 30 minute wait on a Saturdays morning at 10am. Food was good. They were very busy. I would come back again.
I've never had any issues since coming to twisted sage since my high school days!! The food and service is always top tier. Even when it's busy, we've never waited super long for a table as long as you let the hostess know you're okay with anything that is available first. I love that they have revolving specials too. It's always fun to come in and see what's new. read more

My first time eating at Twisted Sage Cafe. My husband salad and I was recommended this cafe from a neighbor. It is easy to kiss if you're driving along Route 66 as it is located in an office complex. Plentiful parking and a quaint cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. There is bar in the back and they serve alcohol, coffee and pastries in that back area along with cafe that serves breakfast type food, soup, sandwiches, salads and wraps. There is a variety of coffee selection. I ordered coconut matcha latte. They have milk or oat milk alternative. That was a tasty matcha indeed. I ordered a blackened salmon Cesar salad and French onion soup. Both were outstanding and this is coming from a person who dislikes salmon. My husband ordered the Cobb salad with chicken and you can order half salad too. My meal did not have half salad option. You can order the salad as a wrap too. I ordered an oatmeal raisin cookie too. Will be back indeed to sample some breakfast items and wraps. read more

Twisted Sage is my absolute favorite brunch place! Everything I have eaten here has been delicious! The servers are always so kind. The place is usually busy all times of day but they do get you seated pretty quickly. When we came in on Saturday morning we were told it would be a 30-40 minute wait and we got seated in 20 minutes. If this is your first time here the Chipotle Cheese Twisted Potatoes is a MUST GET item. read more
We came on a Sunday at around 10:30am and the ambiance was poppin. We got sat pretty quickly as we opted to sit at the bar. We were greeted quickly by Taylor and got our order placed and our drinks brought out right after. The food came out in about 15-20 minutes and it did not disappoint. Twisted Aage Café (est 2011) is a nice and popular breakfast/brunch cafe spot in San Dimas. They offer a breadth of food and drink items as well as exceptional service. If you're searching for a reasonably priced place with good-quality food, you'll love it here. Even the portion size is bigger, so you do not have to worry about ordering another dish. I arrived on cloudless blue sky Saturday morning to grab brunch. I was put on a wait list and got seated within 5 minutes at the bar (per my request). I was warmly greeted by Taylor, service staff, and got a Mediterranean omelet x coffee, OJ and water. Their Food was good as well as their coffee and juice. Service was spot on. Female Staff were cordial and professional. Interior has a nice rustic persona with a relaxing atmosphere. They have outdoor patio available as well. Prices were fair. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Overall, I enjoyed their modest breakfast food and service. I recommend this spot if you're in the area. read more
My last review was 9 years ago. I went back this week and my rating has not changed! The food is still perfectly fresh and delicious. I am not a picky person but I am definitely a creature of habit especially when the dish is always yummy and so consistent. I'm still going with the SEARED AHI TUNA SALAD. The salad is always crisp and that dressing has the perfect kick to it. The tuna is seared to perfection and is really fresh. If you like this vibe in general, you won't be disappointed. The OG MAC AND CHEESE is decadent and topped with bacon. What more does one person need. The service is always nice and quick! This place was poppin off for lunch. I think they got a little backed up. The communication was on point and everyone waiting knows it's worth it. Glad to see they're doing so well! read more

Wow l haven't been here since 2024???? It was a busy Sunday though; we waited 30 min for a table of 2. It's more than popular now. My breakfast was good except the chorizo was a bit "tingly" for my taste buds. read more

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the cinnamon roll I received. It was noticeably burnt, which really affected the taste and overall experience. I expected better quality, especially for something that should be fresh and enjoyable. I hope the restaurant pays closer attention to the quality of the food before serving it to customers. read more

Definitely a vibe coming to Twisted Sage. The servers and employees seem to communicate well with each other, everyone flowing through the motions. Their nitro cold brew is like drinking a stout without the buzz.. The wife always says food is too salty at many of the places we go, not here. I prefer heavier on the salt, she is on the lighter side. Oh yeah!!! Sample their cookies. read more

I really wanted to love this place because my fiancé has always hyped it up, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment for me. We came for breakfast on Valentine's Day, which I completely understand is a busy time. However, the service was extremely poor. So much so that I wouldn't want to return. We were seated next to the bar top, right by the register where guests pay and place to-go orders. There was constant traffic behind me, with people brushing up against my chair the entire time, which made it uncomfortable from the start. Our server was kind, but we received no refills. We ordered two coffees and had finished them long before our food arrived. When the food finally came, we had no drinks, and I spent several minutes trying to find our server with no luck. My food was getting cold, and thankfully the bartender noticed and brought us two ice waters. While I appreciated the gesture, it wasn't what we originally ordered. Throughout the entire meal, our server never checked in. I even had to get up from the table and stand in the to-go order line just to ask for ketchup to enjoy my burger. The manager was present behind the register but was only assisting guests seated at the bar top. After finishing our meal, we waited about 15 minutes just to receive our check. Overall, this was not the experience I would expect, especially on a special occasion like Valentine's Day. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for attentive service or a memorable dining experience. read more
A new place to try for breakfast. You would never venture up into this part of the area of San Dimas for a great breakfast spot, but here it is! The area has a spanish, desert architecture and landscape and situated deep into the business plaza. For a Sunday, the wait wasn't too bad (20-25) and when offered to sit at a high top table or bar seating - we took it! First time here so I would play it safe with eggs, sausage and french toast if it's on the menu. Their french toast is good. Not sure what the bread was dipped in besides eggs and milk. Had a subtle custard - like taste to me. I would absolutely get this again. I had this with the chicken sausage which I thought was ok, but may prefer the pork sausage instead. The hubs had the chorizo and eggs. The ingredients aren't mixed together. Chorizo is served in a bowl separate from the eggs. And, the chorizo is a bit spicy - we both thought it was. If you love some spiciness to your chorizo then this will be up your alley. I just had to try the pumpkin chai latte here. This is quite creamy and has some sweetness to it. There may be condensed milk in it, I believe. The pumpkin flavor is noticeable for you all things pumpkin fans! Another great place to add to our list of places to go to for breakfast. The staff is great - friendly. Lots of parking available. read more

I was looking for a dog friendly cafe for breakfast and Twisted Sage Cafe caught my interest. My dogs and i were immediately seated outside on the shaded patio, by our friendly host. They had a great view of the San Gabriel mountains where i was seated. The server brought out a bowl of water for my dogs without me even having to ask! I ordered the Chorizo and egg bagel sandwich which was dripping with flavor! I also got a side of Twisted potatoes with bacon and bleu cheese, Tasty! The iced latte was roasty perfect to go with breakfast. I will return to sample more of the menu. read more

Best Biscuits and Gravy around! If you are near San Dimas, make sure you stop by and try them. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Highly recommend. Place is popular and gets super busy. They have indoor and patio seating. Both seatings always have excellent service. Their breakfast burritos are huge and easily feeds two. As well as their breakfast sandwiches. Order each and share with each other. Must try place! read more

No is not a long wait they have a nice patio and they were mask .
Is the waffle 6 vegan or vegetarian?
Vegetarian. They aren't great with subs to make something vegan. But lots of vegetarian and pescatarian options.
Is this good for big groups?
The restaurant is open seating, so for a big group you would have to grab a large table outside. Honestly, it's not great for groups 5+.
