For drinks we ordered green light, Pagé, tropical paradise and Tropical teaser. For food we ordered crepes, waffles and sunny side up egg sandwich with home fries. The spot is clean and the staff is friendly. The smoothies are delicious. Their ingredients are fresh! They use paper straws so we gotta finish the drinks fast before the straws get soggy. There is a lot of natural sunlight in the restaurant, which is very comfortable. It is a cute brunch restaurant to relax.

The food here is so delicious. I had the duck confit Benedict and it was incredible. Served with a salad instead of potatoes (although they are tasty as I had some of my sons!) Friendly service and cool location near the Place d'Artes. Cool vibes and lots of light.

We enjoyed a great breakfast at Eggspectation for our last meal in Montreal before heading home. Attentive staff with the food arriving quickly. So many great menu items that it was hard to choose! But everything we had was delicious, and we appreciated the fresh fruit that came with each dish. Great spot that I would definitely visit again for breakfast in the area!

Super cute artsy restaurant with great food and service. Our server was very attentive and accommodating. The fruit was really fresh and my omelette was delicious. I could tell the ingredients they used were non processed. Great location too. Dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had breakfast here around 9:30am on a Tuesday and there was no wait. One of the best breakfasts we've had in Montreal. I loved the burnt orange and cherry compote ricotta pancakes, and he enjoyed the smoked meat eggs benedict. Our server was friendly and had good recommendations. Very cute decor and a great place to eat.

Service was really good with friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent. We ordered the Chocolate Banana Crepe and my wife had the Eggspectation Omelette. Both really good and portions were enough to split if necessary!!

We visited this restaurant several times during our stay at the DoubleTree. The food was great each time and the service was warm and friendly. The patio is a perfect spot to enjoy the atmosphere. They even lowered the shades when it was about to rain. I can't wait to come back.

Good food, great big portions. The decaf cappuccino was bitter but the server replaced it with regular coffee at my request. The crepe was so good and so plentiful. Eggs Benedict was very good. Nice place close to our hotel. Adequate seating Would recommend it to anyone

Great breakfast. I came with a couple of friends and we each tried something different. I got the French Toast with the Flambé fruit, one friend got the bacon and pear waffle and the other got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Everything was extremely tasty. To drink I got the Nutella Latte and my friend got the Maple Latte. I would definitely come back again.

For a place with the word "egg" in the name I probably should have expected the smell of egg to smack you the second you walked in the door. So if that doesn't bother you, youll like this place! The menu mentions a juice bar, we all ordered one, but turns out they were smoothies. They were delicious but more filling than we were wanting. Service was slow - super friendly, but slow. My meal came out a good 10 minutes after everyone else's. But the breakfast poutine was very yummy!

Eggspectation omelette is very tasty! Service staff is attentive and friendly! Location is perfect, next to our hotel and the performing arts center. Price is reasonable.

Eggspectation really wasn't anything more than a diner. We stopped by for a quick breakfast. The menu states that the eggs Benedict would be their speciality. However I've had better. The eggs Benedict came with very stale and hard potatoes and a slice of watermelon and pineapple. Overall if this wasn't a quick breakfast I would've opted out.

Mango Razz drink, Eggs, Sausage, Bacon -- so good. the eggs were scrambled just the way I like!

As for the food, yes lots of burger, but also offerings that are in regular burger places like salads, poutine and such. The place is on the second floor and span on two floor with an outdoor terrasse (I think on both floor). If you are in a wheelchair or can't go up stairs, you can't reach the restaurant. There's no elevator anywhere (although I don't even know where they could fit it). The place is quite small, like most restaurant near that place. The bathroom are only on the second (third) floor. I took the supersonic burger with fries. The fries are generic fried brown fry you get from corner shack but less greasy (in fact I didn't taste the grease/oil). The burger I took was very good. It felt different then regular burger I take at other place where you can taste the grease or something that make the burger heavy. I finished eating it and while I was full, it felt like I had a light filling meal. My girlfriend took another burger I forgot the name and she really liked it. She took it with the salads which is mostly just greens. You can substitute the buns for lettuce for free. There's also different sides offering, some with extras frees like poutine. The service this time was good. No big wait, waitress came at multiple time to check to see if everything was ok and to refill our glass.

The curly fries were just like we remembered: crispy & light. Staff was friendly and accommodating l, but the initial server who took our orders forgot to tell us he was either going on break or had finished for the day because another server approached us later to take our order! You can also reserve room if you are a big group. There's also a restaurant with various food that we didn't try. We didn't try the arcade, we ran out of time on our schedule but we will come back. The arcade work with a card where you accumulate point that you can spent on things in the gift shop. Like many arcade, the more token you buy, the cheaper the cost per token is. We took the combo that is 1 game of bowling, 1 game of laser tag and 1 round of mini golf. The bowling is with big balls. There's a little ramp for the kids or those that just need a little help. There's only one though so you have to share it across the 8 alley. The bowling itself is nice, alley are straight and clean. There's a wide range of ball weight that should be ok for everyone. The mini golf here is special. It's not a less put parcours, it's a most point. Point are done in 2 ways. Once you put, there's a 60sec timer. The time left once you enter the cup is bonus point. The other way is through the course. There's special tricks that you can do to earn extra points and even lose some. It's a very nice twist and it was fun. We ended with a game of laser tag. I saw the maximum occupancy is 28 players splitter in 2 or 3 teams. We were 6 and honestly, the room is small. Unless there's some hidden wall that get open for more player, I wouldn't see much more then 10 players. 28 would be over crowded for sure. For us at 6, it was perfect. One thing is the room itself is dangerous. Like many laser tag room, it's dark. The problem is they put some stuff like ramp but without anything to show you the edge or worst, they put some theming. Half of us were hurt by the stage. I myself trip, while walking slowly down one of those ramp where I though it was going in a specific direction but no. I ended up falling face first, scratching my knees and nearly broking my finger. My girlfriend opened her elbow while edging a wall and our friend got some similar stuff happened. Another thing is they don't really explain you anything beside how to shoot. There's a lot of stuff in the room that you can shoot and I never knew if it did anything beside some animation. Like a wall that seems like maybe a forcefield that would maybe disable enemy shield if they walk through? I don't know. The gun had 2 way to shoot, a long laser or a short range scatter shot like a shotgun. Was fun to be able to cycle through mode. We still had fun, but the state was dangerous in my opinion. It is a nice place to have a fun spend money. Kids will love it for sure and grown up too
