The service was excellent, nice, pleasant waitress; place is clean and open. I've been here multiple times, today my skillet was not good. I could only taste the green peppers and onions, minimal amount of ham. I picked out the peppers and onions, but it didn't make a difference because they were diced and tiny. The eggs on top were perfect, but I couldn't eat any other part of the skillet. The pancakes were dry even after adding the syrup. We visited this cafe for the first time this morning. What a treat!!! The food was fabulous and the portions very generous. We were celebrating a birthday and the staff was extremely accommodating to the birthday girl (94) providing a brownie and song without our asking . This area needs more restaurants like this. Since moving here, I have hunted for a breakfast joint. I've tried five locally owned establishments. This is clearly the dominant player in this area. The atmosphere is filled with happy customers enjoying their rations. Absolutely everything was delicious. I say this as a fat man. I love food. I love breakfast. And wow there was nothing to disappoint. Rarely do I offer five stars. I guess it's the anguish left behind by the nuns in grade school! Just kidding! I had the meat lovers omelet, hashbrowns cooked well, pancakes, and a half order of biscuits and gravy. Let this just say it all. I'll be back regularly for the food, service, and ambiance! Went here for the first time with my parents for brunch one Sunday. We mentioned how cold it was outside and the server kindly sat us as far as possible from the door to escape the chill for a bit. My mom and I had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict and Dad had a waffle with fresh fruit and it was all very good. The service was also great. Eggspress Cafe is a hidden gem, and a must stop location if you're looking into a local breakfast spot! I had the vegetarian skillet and their house coffee, which were both delicious. If you need to you can make substitutions to your plate, and all of their ingredients tasted fresh. One of my favorite things about this locations is the ambiance of the location, it can be a meet up spot for a casual breakfast or a breakfast spot for a celebration, plus their service was amazing! The service was quick and the food came out quick, went here on a Tuesday for brunch. I ordered the Steak and 2 eggs and asked the steak as rare. The steak and eggs came out, the steak was of low quality. Also, the steak wasn't even warm to the touch. (stringy and just looks of cheap quality and not worth the $24 price tag of the meal). Tried this place for the first time today. I had been meaning to since driving by recently. I've been looking for a new place to have breakfast. I ordered Eggs Benedict, as I almost always do. On the menu it was the 'ham' version. A lot of restaurants use ham instead of Canadian bacon, which is acceptable. The eggs were overcooked a little. One of the treats of eating this dish is when the runny egg yolks combine with the hollandaise, which didn't happen today. The hollandaise was pretty good, with good consistency. I would suggest including a sharp knife when serving this dish, like a steak knife. Without it, it's easy to make a mess of things cutting through the ham. The hash browns were very good. The orange juice was good, although it tasted like fresh squeezed mixed with concentrate, just my opinion. The coffee was good. The server, David, was quite good, and friendly. read more

The chips are crispy and the greens sauce has just right amount of kick. The service is exceptional and the hosts are incredibly gracious. Went here with friends yesterday and I wanted to leave a compliment on the customer service. We got here shortly before closing and didn't realize it. We were waiting on the rest of our party to show up. The waiter told us to take our time and that they'd be ok for us to wait on our party and enjoy our meal. David was our waiter. He was so patient and explained things on the menu for us as we were over the phone ordering for our friends that hadn't arrived yet due to an emergency.
