Cute little spot for breakfast! We stopped in for breakfast while in town and got seated right away, but it was a weekday. I imagine it's busy on weekends. Our server was great and we both got eggs Benedict which was delicious, along with crispy wedge potatoes. Fast and friendly service and great food.

Time - Sunday morning 8AM Place - Eggy's on 14th Street Us - two seniors I was quite impressed by the variety on the menu which always makes decisions difficult. My wife, on the other hand, always gets a short stack, no matter we go. The service was prompt and friendly. The food came to the table quickly, and hot. I had the Cinnamon Bun pancakes, half order, which was a good portion size. A full serving would have been enough for two. Definitely a go to spot if I am back in town for breakfast.

I had a great experience at Eggy's last week. I visited on Friday in the early afternoon, so there was no wait. I was quickly greeted by my server and ordered the Midwestern Skillet, which came with a pancake on the side. The menu had a large variety and I changed my mind several times before landing on my final answer. The skillet was huge and delicious. I loved the flavors and appreciated the restaurant accommodating my request for no mushrooms. The pancake was also very tasty--light and fluffy. I would definitely return to Eggy's upon a future trip to the area!

We got the Denver omelette. Huge portion. Omelette was ok. A little more cheese would have been nice, it was kinda dry. Two eggs with meat. It was good. Standard, hard to mess up. Country benedict was probably the best dish. Biscuits were fluffy. It was two biscuits cut in half. Two pieces had sausage patties with gravy and the other two pieces had poached eggs and gravy. Eggs cooked perfect and gravy had nice flavor. Same potatoes came with all dishes. They were not great. They were fried, very crispy and greasy. They needed seasoning as well. They weren't our favorite. I could see parking being a little tricky since alot of people who live around the area park on the street. We came at 7:30am and got one of the last spots by the restaurant and we were one of two tables sat inside. Service was good. Our waitress was kind.

Eggy's is someplace I have visited a few times now. My boyfriend and I come here occasionally for breakfast. We were seated immediately and the restaurant is always nice and clean and the staff is always friendly. Our drinks were okay. Nothing super special but definitely not bad. What I'd expect for a more casual breakfast place. Our food came out quickly and looked great! I felt as if the biscuits and gravy could definitely use a little more seasoning and whenever i order sunny side up eggs, they are always under done. They tend to always be liquid on top when I eat them here which always makes me feel a little bit weird about eating all of them. However, my boyfriend LOVES their Benedict! He had no complaints and we mostly come here just so he can have that. Their side of bacon was not many pieces for the price but that's how it is at majority of restaurants so i wasn't too upset. Overall, Eggys is not my favorite breakfast restaurant but it isn't bad.

"Diner" is the appropriate description here. The service was timely and coffee hot. The bustle of the mostly full room was comforting, and manageable (volume). We were seated quickly, offered our choice of beverage shortly thereafter and submitted our order within minutes. The food arrived within a reasonable period of time and service was consistent and attentive despite the full room. Our food was fairly tasty but I've definitely had better corned beef hash before - probably won't order that again, but I'd definitely come back and try some off the other offerings. I love the non-franchise, local and unique vibe -- high recommend.

I have a high expectations when it comes to a breakfast joints. This place checked all the boxes. The service was good, could be improved. Really nice staff. Coffee was hot and it had the right taste. Not that smoky taste you feel in your breath. I got a breakfast burrito and a pancake. My wife got a breakfast sandwich. The burrito was off the charts. It was F ing delicious. Most diners go cheap on the pancake quality, but not this place. And you can't forget the massive big potatoes that came on the side. The only thing I regret is I wasn't hungry enough. I need to starve myself for my next visit.

A MUST VISIT!! I'm an early bird and was able to find Eggy's Diner open at 7am on Saturday. The minute I walked in with my friends we were seated right away. Our waitress was so sweet and quick. Since we were a group of 4 we ordered Eggy's Burrito $15 (IT'S HUGE AND WE COULDN'T FINISH IT , extremely tastyyyyyyy) Eggy's Breakfast Sandwich $12.75 (really tasty and swapped the bacon with turkey sausage) Stuffed French Toast $13 (the filling was citrus mascarpone which was exceptional) Avocado Toast $11 (had mix feelings about this because there was barley any avocados- would not recommend this dish -very simple ) Caramel Lattes $5.50 (latte $4.75 + caramel syrup $0.75) - tasted different than a usual latte but would not order it again. Overall the place is a vibe, quick and delicious! Definitely coming here again when I visit Minneapolis again!

I've rated this place 4-stars in the past, but I'm dropping that to 3-stars now. Loud rap music is not what I want to hear at Noon on a Sunday. Many of the tables were not cleaned off when we were there. Just in general, the quality of the staff, service, atmosphere, and food seems to be slipping.

We were in town for a concert, and based on the reviews, this place seemed like a good choice. First impressions of the place, the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Typical urban retro look. The hostess was not welcoming or friendly. Front of the house first impressions are important. She didn't even welcome us or smile. The waitress was very nice and friendly, though. The coffee was good but a bit acidic. I don't know if it was Collectivo coffee, but I am assuming it was because of the signage on the wall. Overall, food was mediocre. Pancakes were flat. Chocolate chip pancakes didn't have the chips folded in the batter. Just melted on top. Biscuits and gravy side was okay. I never had it with green onions before. Green onions were overpowering. The sausage was way too sweet. It must have been maple and brown sugar. Overall, it wasn't one of my favorite places food wise, plus it was pretty pricey. 3 pancake meals, 3 sides, and 2 drinks totaled around $67 without tip.

Eggys was delicious and our service was impeccable, but there was a big issue. The entire restaurant had no bread or bananas. We were not notified prior to being seated, so we could have gone to our back up option. Instead we ordered our coffees and then when the server was ready, we were told there was no bread or bananas. Half our party was not content whatsoever, while the other half was okay, considering they didn't need bread or bananas. For a total of 7 adults and 2 kids I paid about $160+ Would we go back, maybe half the party, but with more decent options around the corner, Eggys is probably a big pass. Cheers to actual food that's stated on the menu Yelpers xx

I thoroughly enjoyed Eggy Benedict and freshly made coffee. The service was slow due to under staffing on the day of our visit (early morning hours). My husband likes his Chilaquiles. Very friendly atmosphere.

To drink, I treated myself to a delicious, beautifully layered tiramisu latte. Another thing I absolutely love is their grab-and-go bakery case. Beverage options were excellent too, stuff for everyone, mimosas, specialty coffee drinks, and really solid drip coffee. The menu has a great balance of savory and sweet, so naturally we tried both. My husband and I like to do quirky celebrations, and for ten years of marriage I wanted to celebrate it and spend time being intentional about the growth and love we've shared for this decade of life together. To say Spoon and Stable hit it out of the park is an understatement. We got a space near the kitchen to watch the chefs make the magic happen, and EACH dish was simply incredible.
