Everything was great. The baked beans were even awesome (sweet and bacony), and I'm really not a huge bean fan. The BBQ pork had a good smoke flavor. The chicken was juicy. The smoked sausage was good and seemed to be very fresh. The ribs were a little dry, but they were very tender. To top it all off, with as much food as we ordered, our bill was just over $30 including tip. The dry ribs are the only thing keeping them from five stars on this visit. I'm probably spoiled by all of the good BBQ in the South, but I just can't give five stars to a BBQ joint unless all of the que is top notch.

I also tried the collard greens, which came with a little cornbread muffin. The muffin was a touch dry on its own, but soaking it in all those collard green juices? Perfect. The collards were tangy and smoky and definitely different from the way I'm used to them up North, but they were absolutely delicious. Great food, great experience, and I'd come back.
