Sean was a very helpful and attentive salesman. He let me know this particular style ran big and surmised that the boots that would fit me would be a half size smaller than usual. He was right. They didn't have the copper color in stock but once I ascertained my correct size and fit, Sean ordered them for me. They arrived at my door in just a few short days. I have been wearing them around the house for the past two days but honestly, they are extremely comfortable. It seems no break-in period needed as is the case with some boots in general and some western boots in particular. Tecovas will shine/polish the boots for free any time you're in the store. They also will etch them for free with my initials or another of their designs if I so desire. The journey is not in on this option yet. They also offer to stretch them for you if they need it. Fortunately mine do not. I am thrilled with my new boots. How many pairs of western style boots are too much? I don't know the answer to that yet. ;-) Thank you Sean and Tecovas.

Until my last shopping experience. I had gotten a coupon in the mail for what seemed like a very generous offer. I don't remember what it is, but it was very good. Enough to get me into the store, which was their goal. The discount was for something like a flat amount off the total purchase, or maybe a percentage discount. Don't really remember but you get my drift I hope. After trying on a handful of shoes, I found three or four pairs that I was happy with and wanted to buy. I brought them to the front of the store, which was being staffed by a guy i had been chatting with my whole time there. He was very personable and friendly. Good guy. He rang up my order and went to use my coupon. Ladies and gentlemen, this is when the malarkey started to happen. I had naïvely assumed I would just be able to use the coupon on any shoes in the store. How stupid of me! DXL is a corporation, of course they'll be operating with predatory practices. There was more fine print on that stupid coupon than a contract with the devil. Not ONE of the shoes that I wanted to buy were eligible to be used under that coupon. After reading it, I realized that I had got sent a coupon for a discount for shoes in which probably half the stores inventory did not qualify for. Probably will not be returning to the store with business practices like that.

They've got water bottles, shoes, and outdoor recreational equipment on the first floor & on the second floor they have a mix of women's, men's, and kid's clothing. I adore their duck boots, a must for the winter time... specifically their shearling-lined insulated model. Incredibly warm, perfect for snow days. Their "wicked good moccasins" are incredibly comfortable and I love wearing them in the fall/winter time. I've definitely gone through several pairs. Backpacks are super nostalgic; I had mine with my initials as a kid haha, honestly I would get another one. Good quality, got about ten years of use out of that backpack & it allowed me to carry 5 heavy textbooks and some more.

I was then kept waiting for over 30 minutes while staff claimed they were contacting other people. In the end, they refused to let me make any purchase and would only say it was "store policy" without providing any clear explanation. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that other customers checking out around me were not being subjected to the same account review or questioning. Very unprofessional and disrespectful treatment toward a legitimate customer. Customers deserve transparency, professionalism, and basic respect. I will not return to this location.

She gave honest feedback, suggested perfect pieces to pair with tops and bottoms I liked, and patiently ran back and forth countless times to grab different sizes and colors. She was also incredibly organized, keeping track of what I was buying in-store versus what would be shipped to my home, which made the whole process so much easier. Toward the end, after I'd gone through everything I picked myself, I asked Diana to surprise me with items she thought I'd love. She absolutely nailed it. Every piece she brought matched my style perfectly. She somehow understood exactly what I was looking for--even when I couldn't put it into words. Shopping is usually stressful for me because I'm not very confident when it comes to fashion, but Diana made the experience genuinely fun and effortless. This new Famous Footwear sits in the Natick Mall on Route 9 in Natick, across from the food court and near the Sears entrance. The most convenient way to access it if you aren't in the mall already for other shopping is to park near Sears and cut through. What I find bizarre is how Famous Footwear is now opening in the mall, after they had a larger, more easily accessible location in the Sherwood Plaza around ten years ago, that closed just after opening. Regardless, this place seems like it is a good location also since every store does well at the Natick Mall! Staff at the store today were friendly, helpful and attentive to all of the new customers. Large variety and top stock. I can't say it's the largest Famous Footwear location I've been to, but then again I had no problem finding myself a sharp looking pair of shoes to accompany for the season. I am a huge sandal / slide person, but have discovered that even in the summer, having shoes is still necessary. This place opened right in the nick of time. Very new design used in this store, that actually I find effective. Benches throughout the entire middle of the store for any customers to try shoes on, and separate sides of the store for different types of footwear (dress shoes, sneakers, and of course, sandals). Good selection, good prices and super clean, organized store! Remember, the best secret is to park by Sears (the best parking lot to park in at any time...), cut through the store and enter the mall. It's the first store on the right. 5 stars.
