There has never been a time that I passed that there was a seat open at the bar, so I sat in the main dining area this one time. I ordered blackened catfish with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. This was a hit. It was full of flavor without going overboard with seasoning. And I appreciate that it was cooked to order. It made up for the cranberry juice being water with a "hint" of cranberry juice, an indication that it probably came from a tap. Service was top and one of the owners made rounds to check on customers. I may stop by again at some point in the future. It would certainly be a welcomed break when I am taking respite from cooking at home.

Went to another establishment and found out the bartender on duty at 6:30 pm is known to be less than attentive. He must be related to someone who works there. I placed an order totaling $13.00, which included chicken wings and fried mushrooms. I specifically requested that my wings be cooked for an extra six minutes. Despite this request, the chicken was served to me undercooked, with pink meat and blood running out. When I brought this to the cashier's attention, she informed me that they only cook wings for six minutes total. As someone who cooks regularly, I know that raw chicken cannot be safely or properly cooked in that timeframe; it requires much longer in hot oil to be done. Additionally, I asked the cashier if the wings were regular-sized, and she assured me they were. However, they were outrageously large, whereas I prefer standard, traditional wings.
