I visited this location at 9:57 a.m. on 01/10/2023. A woman took my order of Nova lox bagel, on sesame bagel, untoasted, without tomato or capers. I gave her the order twice. Then a third time I emphasized "just onions and cream cheese." A short while later she handed me a bag. I thought it looked on the small size for a Nova lox bagel, but went to have a seat. Then someone put a box on the counter and called out nova lox bagel. I went to the counter and asked the same woman who took my order if that order was actually my box, and she said no, so I went and sat down. A few seconds later she walked toward the table and said I had the wrong order and that "you asked, and I told you 'no,' and *you just walked away*." She said this last part with a lot of attitude. I said that I asked her if the boxed order was mine, and that she had said no, so I had gone and sat down. She gave me some retort full of attitude. Then I took the boxed Nova lox sandwich and sat down, opened the box, and saw it had capers. I took it back to the counter and told her in a normal speaking voice just matter-of-factly, "I ordered this without capers." She said, "You only said no tomato," to which I replied that I had ordered it without tomatoes or capers. Due to her rude tone of voice and attitude, after eating, I went to the counter and asked the only worker that was at the counter what the woman's name was. She mumbled something, and it didn't sound like a common name, so I couldn't understand her. I asked again, and she said, "You can ask her yourself. She's right there." She pointed to the seating area, and I saw the woman who had taken my order was now wiping tables. So I went up to her and asked her her name. The reply was, "Whatchoo need my name for?" I said because I wanted to complain to a manager. She replied, "I AM the manager." I said that then I needed to talk to whomever was over her and complain because she was very rude to me. She said that no, you were rude and "everybody saw it." I had never been rude, never raised my voice. The only thing anybody had seen was a woman who had returned to the counter and simply questioned if she had given me the wrong order (I had) and then, when she had gotten my order wrong, asked for it to be corrected. Neither time was I rude or raising my voice in any way. When I kept asking for her manager's information or corporate information, she ignored it and just kept repeating, "Bye!" loudly. Since I had no way to identify her, I packed up my things and took a photo of the back of her as she walked back into the back room. I did contact corporate about this and gave them the details from the receipt. This is the only negative incident I've ever had an Einsteins in the five states I've lived in. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location. Tone and attitude are things that are hard to convey in a review, but I can say that nobody in Einstein's management over this store would be proud of the way this worker acted. I'm hoping they have video with audio and will review it so they'll see it supports my rendition of events. read more

To start off when I ordered my food the employee had a rude attitude. As well as the fact that when I ordered the avocado toast she made it with no gloves (disgusting). Then when I finished my not so good food I went to wash my hands and there's no soap in the bathroom, so the employee wasn't washing their hands. I often enjoy stopping by Einstein's for a nice breakfast or lunch. The food is consistently good, the staff is very nice, and the prices are unbeatable. While you may have to fend off some hungry college students, the wait is worth it in the end. read more

Great new bagel place. I'm so happy it is so close to my house. It's a great little bagel shop that makes a perfect stop off before work to pick up some bagels and coffee. The sourdough and onion bagels are probably my favorites. Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Beyond the food, the service is rather quick, which is a plus when you are in a hurry. Beyond that, they have very reliable Wi-Fi (a must for many people) and even some limited outdoor seating during the summer. The only drawback is they aren't really open that late. It could definitely do with some longer hours. Oh, and the parking lot could use a face lift. It's slanted so much that when I park, I feel like putting on the parking break just for the hell of it sometimes. read more

Customer service is always so amazing, and the girls who work at this Einstein are always so friendly. They know their regular customers very well and are very generous as well. One time I had asked for a sample of a drink and they ended up giving me a full size drink to myself and my friend for free. All the food is so delicious and I will continue to stay a regular there. Right now, their toaster is currently broken which is a bit of a bummer but I will still continue to go. Muffins are still a great option without the toaster! read more

Thanks to a few influential people, this lovely establishment finally graces the corner of Chevrolet and University. Bagels and sammiches, coffee drinks, etc, certainly an improvement over the liquor store that sat here previously. Not expensive either, especially for breakfast. There is an attached police outpost here, which should help keep things in order. Only complaint is that currently, it is only open til 4 pm (a recent change in hours). Stay open a little later! They have a lot more to offer than just yummy bagels . Breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruit , nutrition bars , juices, excellent coffee and much more . I'm glad there's such a nice little breakfast place right around the corner from me . Clean , nicely decorated , good prices , and pretty good service . Even if the line is long, the wait is not . The bagels are that of a typical Einstein. What sets this location apart from the others is the extreme lack of customer relations. As a bagel place, one expects them to be open early for that grab-and-go morning snack. They are in a wonderful location, adjacent to Kettering University. When you walk into this location at 7am, you're greeted with a smug look and discontent. I wish I could say that this is just a morning occurrence, but it's been this way for months. This used to be a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. Now it takes forever to get your food and it is usually not correct. The employees are untrained, slow and basically don't care.
