    DOUGHY, NASTY!
    Gregory L.

Pizza: Tried for the first time, BBQ chicken w/o and add pepperoni. HORRIBLE! Regular pizza but crust was thin, paper thin. Worst of all, NOT cooked, doughy, NASTY. asked to go back and cook longer. Came back warmer, but STILL DOUGHY! Then, waitress still charged me for it when I ate literally half of first slice and none of second slice after second warming/cooking. Will NEVER get pizza here again. Ambiance is good and service is good. We frequent here often, stick w/ the Coney Island staples, omelette, coneys & burgers.

I worked there. Dirty place. Food portions ridiculous.. so unorganized.. got let go for making less than $30 a day.. management is ridiculous.. I don't know how the place has been open for 6 years.. all tho the clientele are like 90 Plus. I went to work everyday for like a week and a half trying to make it work and I got let go unfairly for some fat girl that did not give me a good review for the love of God the girl was in there eating and stuffing her face for like an hour and no customers and left me $5 and then she continued to call the restaurant and complain and then go the next morning to the restaurant to continue to complain and then on top of that she proceeded to put it on review Yelp. Her name is Michelle B. .& Management never asked me my side of the story bad place to work bad place to eat disgusting people

Hill Rd Grill decently priced Senior breakfast specials. Other breakfasts are also decidedly priced. Breakfast is pretty basic.

Portion sizes are great for the price. Service is about what you would expect from a diner.

Good was good and reasonably priced. They were a bit short staffed and busy but that didn't stop the staff from doing a great job.

Why do the only put like 8 onions on their Flint style coneys? That's not what I remember from back in the day.

The waitress was super friendly as was the lady who cashed us out. They have daily specials written on the sign when you first walk in there's plenty of seating mostly Booth style like an old school diner with really cool old photos up on all of the walls and an old legit style jukebox behind the counter. The menu is really good it's full it offers lots of different choices for people of all ages. I got the bacon cheeseburger with french fries and a shake. The shake was absolutely delicious I could go back for just that. It was super thick not overly sweet. It came in a cool metal cup with an actual metal spoon I mean who even gives metal spoon these days. The bacon cheeseburger had crispy edges crispy bacon a fresh tomato and a soft pillowy bun. French fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I also had some fried pickles with ranch dressing. The fried pickles were nice because the batter was really thin often times the batter's so thick you can't even taste the pickle this was not the case. I was absolutely thrilled with all of my food it was tasty, it was fresh and hot, the place was clean, and the service was friendly I would go back any day and I would recommend them to anyone.

Plenty of parking, parking lot was fairly clean considering the lot is shared maybe not legally with a long term old Motel/Inn just off and to the side of it. When I entered, I was greeted within a minute by a lady who seated me right next to the server's station and access to the restrooms. There were approximately 6 servers and although they did seem to be talking to each other from my location I could hear it was not friendly chatter but about work related items. When I look around the restaurant, I could tell which tables belonged to which server as she would orbit the floor passing by each of their assigned tables that were occupied. NO ONE had to WAIT to be seated or to be Greeted by their server. I ordered Decaf Coffee which was brewed fresh I was informed by Chloe my server who also explained the Free Short Stack of pancakes and IF you wanted to you could donate to a "Feed The Hungry Charity" where $1 donated would provide 10 meals. (Figure that Out) I received a small pot of Decaf piping hot and good taste. My pancakes were barely warm when they were brought out to me which my server had replaced with HOT Pancakes with the traditional small glob of butter on top of them melting quickly. I also ordered a $6 Ham & Cheese Omelet which was well prepared with I would guess 2 eggs instead of 3 and also included 2 pancakes as well. I finished my food paid my bill and decided to use the restroom which seemed to be a point of complaint on more than several reviews. Toilet area was clean as was the sinks and urinal area. Paper towel in waste can was brimming over which due to the traffic I saw go in there while I ate I could understand. There was a duty list at the entry door and within a few minutes of my visit, a staffer went in and because I am curious if the checklist is just for show, I walked back in and the waste basket was EMPTY. Overall, I would rate this IHOP as a place I will return to and perhaps have Chloe as my server again. Very Polite and Courteous to ALL of her customers. I have been in Texas Roadhouse and Outbacks that have had more issues than this IHOP. But you can't please everyone and EVERY Establishment has bad days where staff call off or one cook calls off on a day where there are just 2 cooks for the whole morning. Overall, I would give this IHOP the Whole 5 Stars!

The lunch combo lets you choose two options from a half sandwich, half salad, or a cup of soup, which is perfect when you want variety without a huge portion. My sister ordered the BLT with cheddar potato soup and really enjoyed both. I went with the pot roast & cheese sandwich and an Asian-style fried chicken salad. The sandwich was excellent. Tender, moist pot roast piled generously on crunchy, buttery grilled bread with plenty of melted cheese. Definitely comfort food done right. The salad was surprisingly good too, topped with crispy onions and a peanut-style dressing that added great flavor and texture. Of course, we couldn't skip the famous Bob Evans biscuits, which were warm, buttery, and slightly crisp on the outside. We also tried the new Cowboy Fries topped with gravy and cheese, which honestly reminded me of poutine and were delicious. Before leaving, we grabbed a full-size pot roast soup to-go for $7.99 along with extra biscuits, which made for an easy heat-and-serve dinner later. Service was quick, we were seated immediately, and there's plenty of parking. The location is convenient, close to I-75, gas stations, and coffee shops. With breakfast available anytime and lots of menu choices, it's an easy, reliable stop. Great food, good value, and I'd definitely return.
