This location isn't up to Einstein Bros Bagels standard. I patronized many other locations and expected more. Our employee taking order was friendly and helpful, but our deli bagel sandwiches were very messy. Double baked hash-brown not so tasteful and mushy. My coffee drink was mixed with somebody else drink order. Should be better experience, that we have.

3.5-ish/5 Just your typical morning coffee and bagel shop: nothing too special but nothing bad about it either, hence the slightly higher than average rating. I got a blueberry bagel meal with an iced coffee and it really hit the spot. The meal comes with this surprisingly delicious twice baked hashbrown, which tastes a lot like Cracker Barrel's heavenly hashbrown casserole. They also had bagel dog treats that I had to buy, and my dog loved it. Overall a very friendly and busy place. Nice workers, fast service, good food.

Excellent food! The drive-thru was so effortless even though it was busy. I ordered the loc bagel and it came with the classics. So good!

Good bagels but they literally threw our food at us, like threw it on the table and sped away.

It's in a small shopping center at the north limits of the Crieve Hall neighborhood. You can normally find a parking spot in the lot or if you know someone in the neighborhood, walking is an option too. Walk in and order at the counter. Be sure to check the available bagels that day AND any specials, especially the cinnamon bun special. Every time I have been, the staff has been extremely helpful as you navigate the choices. (note - there is a separate window outside to pickup online orders, delivery orders etc. so that helps with inside congestion). There is almost always a line but it moves quickly. On my last visit, they had just completed the March Madness bracket and were featuring the Cheddar bagel with chive cream cheese- $1. As I said, always check the special! They will feature some interesting coffees, bagels varieties and let's talk about the Cinnamon Roll. The first time I sampled the Cinnamon Roll special it was a blueberry pancake version, imagine an amazing cinnamon roll(yes, it's sweet but not overly and has great flavor), with blueberries and cream on top! The only downside is they are very large, but that means you get one to share with your people. Their bagels are really good! You can eat them plain or get some spread for them. (note that bulk bagel orders are not sliced). They also have breakfast sandwiches. To top it off, this has the feel of a real neighborhood spot. Plenty of folks greeting each other, friends connecting, families gathering. Indoor seating with books for the wee folks and some outdoor tables too. I understand they have another location but this is original CHBCO. Definitely worth checking it out!

Unfortunately, this…read moreplace didn't quite hit the mark. that said, it was very busy, and seems to scratch an itch for many. Especially those under the age of 35. Having enjoyed great bagels over the years in Nashville, as well as on our travels to New York and other places, bagels in general in Nashville just aren't very good. We had high hopes for Crieve Hall when we found it, but our Takeaway evaluation was simply: meh.

The staff were patient and helpful as I asked questions and considered all my options. I had forgotten that they brew Nashville's own 8&R spresso!! Their 16oz drinks come with four shots - coffee lovers like me will appreciate the strength! Most of their syrups are Monin, I think maybe I saw 1 housemade. What really sets this place apart is the charming farmer's market-style vibe. Besides food, coffee and fresh-baked pastries, they offer their own delicious sourdough and focaccia loaves to go, and a very thoughtful selection of local items - like organic Amish eggs ($6/dozen - unreal price right now and I saw they reuse the cartons/place to return them - heartwarming), bone broths, small-batch sauces, and so much more. I loved spotting a whole shelf of Republic of Tea bags, sold individually so you can sample new flavors before committing to a full tin. You can tell everything is chosen with care both in quality and with a community focus. Franklin Bakehouse is one of those places that just makes you feel good the moment you walk in. It def helped to see and pet some pups too (I assume they are welcome as there were some inside when I arrived).

This is my review for the bakery:…read more I really wanted to support this small bakery, but my experience left me feeling misled and taken advantage of. When I first visited, the owner, Steve Bledsoe, asked where we were from. After I said California, he told an employee to give us the "California discount." When the total came out to $40 per pie, I was shocked and asked why the price was so high. I was given a long explanation about premium ingredients and homemade quality. Feeling awkward and wanting to support a family-owned business, I went ahead and bought four pies. The next day, when I came back to pick them up, I noticed on the register that another customer had been charged $25 per pie. That was a big red flag. To double-check, I later called the shop as a new customer and was told pies are $25. When I asked to speak with the owner, his answers were inconsistent and unconvincing. I'm extremely disappointed. especially in a local business that relies on community trust. I left feeling like I was charged more simply because the owner thought he could get away with it. I will not be returning, and I hope the business reconsiders how it handles pricing and customer interactions. On top of the dishonesty. The pies were not great. I could have supported Costco and bought larger pies that tasted just as good, if not, better.

We tried the egg salad, chicken salad, the viral hot cocoa with the peppermint marshmallow, plus a few bakery treats because obviously we have no self-control. That cocoa??? Unreasonably good. It's a bit cramped inside, but everything about it is gorgeous. A quaint, charming tea room. My ONLY complaint and this is truly nit-picky is that I wish my biscuit had been warmed up. And honestly I know we got like 4 things for 4 of us to take home and snack on for the next day or so, but I don;t recall all the things we got EXCEPT for the white almond frosted cake(slice, but in a round shape). Everyone agree it was the one to beat, and not to take the crown, but it was the one that I chose.
