Yes! I finally found my way to LePeep. I had no idea this location was tucked in the little shopping center on the corner of Mack Hatcher & Hillsboro. Bright and clean interior that says "good morning". Staff was very helpful AND patient as we navigated the menu. I chose the Harvest Benedict which is a spin on the traditional. Same English muffin but instead of ham or bacon this is topped with cream cheese, sautéed spinach and veggies. Or course top it all with the poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce for a delicious breakfast. It comes with their Peasant potatoes on the side which I understand are a signature item for them. I found the potatoes to be ok and some were a bit overdone but they did make a nice vehicle for sopping up that Hollandaise. The others in my party had a variety of dishes. The skillets look really good. They offer a great selection of breakfast fare and every plate was plated nicely with attention to garnishes and overall "curb appeal". This is definitely a place I'll be back to soon! read more

So the staff gets 5 stars. The food however was a 3. Staff greeted us quickly and were great! Quick note if you select a table:It was cold day and when that door opens the cold air really comes in, even if you are not seated right next to the door. ‍ The coffee was good and menu had a lot of options. Our server was awesome and on top of things! We accidentally ordered the Gooey Buns but wanted the Cinnamon Roll. Surprised to find the Gooey Buns were the best part of the meal. The Cinnamon Roll was okay, not the best we had and kind of dried out. Pancakes were good - fluffy and flavorful! The Eggs Benedict was good and so were the potatoes. The issue we had is the cold draft coming in plus the cold air coming through the vents really made the food cold. So a quarter way through your meal, your food is cold. Noticed each dish came with a small side of sweetened apples - they were okay. Really was looking forward to new breakfast spot in the area but the food was just okay. read more

We finally get seated but our server Tammy could not have been less welcoming. We waited over 5 minutes to be asked for our drink order and she practically rolled her eyes at our choices. The entire experience was awkward from her presence. We couldn't enjoy the food (they forgot our utensils) so that was a bust. The ambiance didn't matter since our service was ruined. -10/10 plus we had a view of the kitchen and could see those workers texting while making our food. The restaurant was clean and had cute decor. It felt open and calm. Someone greeted us quickly and we were seated shortly after. We had the lumberjack breakfast and one of the skillets. They were both great. The pancakes were really good and it was a great visit. Continuing our quest to find Monday breakfast/brunch places outside of downtown Franklin. We have found a surprising number of small restaurants and coffee shops "Closed Mondays" (IYDK - famous 1974/75 Academy Award winning animated short film by Wil Vinton). At times during our visit to Le Peep it almost appeared as if we were transported into the film. Approaching the front of the restaurant from the spacious (common) parking lot, we immediately noticed the door directly beneath the large sign, adjacent to the "Now Open" banner actually was the Exit. The Entrance is a few more steps to the right, adjacent to the long-established "Miss Daisy's Kitchen." (Okay...not too confusing, but did make us stop for a double-take.) Interior: contemporary, brightly lighted, pseudo white industrial (hip?), with an array of visually unrelated large art on the walls; bright and colorful. Plenty of space between tables which are pre-set with carafes of ice water, highlighted by a lemon slice. (meh) Greeting by staff: cordial and prompt. Greeting by server: polite, yet indifferent. Our orders from the very extensive menu were served quickly. Coffee: hot and rich, came in an individual carafe. (In our case the carafe had not been washed or rinsed carefully (see accompanying photo). First case of careless kitchen work. Food: well-prepared, tasty (savory in our case) ... but...in the cook's haste it came a bit poorly plated. (Second case of kitchen carelessness - see accompanying photo of a portion of my egg slopped - served on top of my accompanying dish of cinnamon apples.) Scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy; poached eggs nicely done (runny yolks). "Peasant Potatoes" - their variation of cubed home fries or country 'taters were tender and lightly browned but not hot. Seasoning was good, but I like my potatoes steaming hot, not just reheated (?). When I pointed out these items to our server, I was met with a rather blank stare. No apology or offer to correct. Not the service we anticipated. Will we return? Very likely we will...but when we do, we hope for a cleaner, neater service, and much more engaging and congenial staff. read more

I've never left a negative review before but felt I needed to for this restaurant after our experience there. My husband and I thought we would try their breakfast a couple weeks ago. We walked in and were seated no problem. After sitting there for about 15 minutes without anyone coming to our table to even offer coffee or water even thought a server walked past our table probably 5-6 times to wait on the table next to us, we stopped him and asked if we could have someone help us. He said he would get someone. 5 minutes later we still had no one come to our table so we got up and walked out. Additionally the staff looked shabby with one guy's pants sagging ridiculously low. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough to warrant one. We went to Le Peep for breakfast and the restaurant was practically empty--maybe 3 tables occupied at most. Despite that, we were told we couldn't be seated until our entire party arrived, which already felt unnecessary given how slow it was. After this, the hostess still continued to seat us. What really ruined the experience, though, was the way it was handled. Our waitress, who seemed like the owner or manager, came up to our table and said, "I understand my daughter told you guys that she couldn't seat you until the entire party arrived," in a very cold, condescending tone. It felt completely uncalled for and honestly set the mood in the worst way. When a place is that empty, flexibility and basic hospitality go a long way and unfortunately, neither was present here. The interaction left a bad taste in our mouths before the meal even really started. With that said, the food was okay. Overall, the service overshadowed everything else. Disappointing experience and not somewhere I'd rush back to. read more

The service was good; but we were one of four tables on Sunday morning at 8:30am, so I can't speak to the rush. The food was presented well, but was bland and flavorless. I ordered a honey cinnamon latte and they brought me the honey and cinnamon in a cup on the side. When I asked for a nearby place to eat, Siri recommended Le Peep. It was noon but I was in the mood for brunch. The reviews weren't bad, so - why not? It was my first time. Despite its name, I found out it has nothing "French" about it besides the "French toast" and maybe some croissants (?). For breakfast I usually go to First Watch but wanted to try some place new. The menu wasn't complicated - I liked their light and "healthy" options. Ordered their seasonal Spring Trio which wasn't bad (the hollandaise sauce wasn't "lemony" enough... but still tasty). What got me was the waiter... There was something "different" about my latte with oat milk. I couldn't pin point so I had to ask him - something was "off" and just then he disclosed it to me, very nonchalantly that maybe it was because the espresso shots were decaffeinated! He was then saying that he was sorry that they had ran out of the caffeinated beans... Soooo he just went ahead and served me that? Are you kidding me?! I don't drink decaf or diet beverages. Why didn't he tell me upfront when I was ordering that they were out of regular Lavazza beans? I wanted to decide for myself. I felt deceived, very disappointed. It would NOT be a big deal but I wished I had the chance to decide and maybe even get a different drink. Well, I think I'll keep going to First Watch! First visit, months ago, was underwhelming. Food was just mediocre. Tried it again today with the same results. French toast lacked taste and was cold. Hubs got some type of egg dish and he said it was ok. Nothing special. Staff waste friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Brian was hands down one of the best servers I've had in a long time. He was incredibly positive, attentive without being overbearing, and just genuinely cool to be around. He checked in at all the right moments, made sure everything was perfect, and brought such a great energy to our table that it truly elevated the whole experience. Let's just start off with I did not want to write this review but felt compelled to... I usually LOVE coming to Le Peep, however the past couple of times were underwhelming. I get it, it gets super hectic on the weekends, I had ordered the eggs benedict and the english muffin was lukewarm and the potatoes were severely undercooked despite that, our server was very attentive and tried to resolve the issue. Another thing we noticed as it was getting towards the end of our meal, one of the skinny female servers sitting at the bar actively on her cell phone while witnessing the young manager turn away a table at 1:30 stating that they can do to go only and that they close in 15 minutes. Last time I checked this business closes at 2pm not beforehand. Overall, there are a couple of kinks that need to be worked out for better improvement, I'd hate to see this place go downhill. read more

Went there for breakfast at 8 AM. There were six waitresses serving a total of three tables. After sitting for 15 minutes, our party of four had to flag down one of the wait staff just to get cups of coffee poured. Once the meals were served, one plate had to be sent back because the over easy eggs were like hard rubber, but the potatoes on the same plate were cold. Another plate had to be sent back because the bacon was burned. One and done with this place. Going to Fika in Westhaven next time. read more

We were regular customers of Le Peep when living in metro Denver, Colorado, and were excited to enjoy the new Le Peep near our home at 1110 Hillsboro Road, Franklin, TN, on Saturday, 2/2/2025. The published hours of operation for the Franklin store is 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM CT. On Saturday, 2/1/2025, exactly 1:50 PM CT we were greeted at the check in/host stand by a courteous gentlemen who immediately picked up two menus and began to escort us to a table. Suddenly, he stop after receiving a motion from the rear of the restaurant, turned to us and said "I am sorry I can not seat you because the kitchen is closed." We questioned his statement and showed him our cell phone with the time showing 1:51 PM CT. He again apologized and reiterated "the kitchen is closed and I can not seat you." We questioned why the restaurant was not following its published operating hours and he stated he did not know and apologized again. Restaurant leadership not honoring their published operating hours resulted in disappointment and a very poor customer experience and first impression. The question that comes to mind - Does the owner responsible for the rent and overhead operating costs know its employees are turning away paying customers adhering to their restaurant operating hours policy? Its poor business practice as well as a poor customer experience. read more
