Had an average experience here based on the star rating. The cashier behind the counter seemed pretty unfamiliar with their products and systems but was overall friendly. It seems like there were more experienced staff members present that were just unwilling to help him so it's a tough spot to be in. The bagel sandwiches were like-warm at best. I've given this Einstein's in Highlands Ranch more chances than I probably should have. I've placed multiple online orders here and not once has my order been made correctly. I consistently pay extra for avocado and never receive it. I've stopped ordering drinks altogether because they're never made by the time I arrive--I always have to wait in line and ask for it, which defeats the whole point of ordering ahead. They often give me two of the same bagel, even though the receipt taped to the bag clearly lists the correct (and different) items I ordered. It's frustrating and honestly baffling how consistently these errors happen. Maybe it's shame on me for expecting improvement, but I've finally learned my lesson. I don't understand! This place never has pumpernickel bagels. They have the same manager as the location over at University and Highlands Ranch Parkway, where I can find pumpernickel bagels. So, if we want pumpernickel which is frequently, we have to drive all the way University and Highlands Ranch Parkway. What's the problem? But because of this idiocy, I went to work and learned how to make a great bagel. So I have begun making my own. They're like real bagels, as opposed to French bread, which is what Einstein Pumpernickel is very similar too. read more

Thought I'd give you one more try. This was the last time. You have too many people on shift doing nothing. I ordered 3 bagels with no cuts and no schmere. Waited for 5 minutes then asked the kid at the counter to put on gloves and get me the bagels. He took my order earlier yet could not remember "no schmere" just bagels. He couldn't find them in the case and spent most of his time holding his broom. Multiple people standing around doing nothing for 3 bagels that totaled $7.25 after the "military" discount which is really the senior discount. Your business is failing. The only reason you're not out of business is because the general public has gotten used to horrible or no service. All of the kids in the store look like they need a "safe space" and probably can't find their way out of a wet paper bag. I'd rather eat Safeway frozen bagels than visit your store ever again. The only thing consistent with this Einstein location is their ability to get EVERY SINGLE ORDER WRONG. Unfortunately, we have seen them mess up orders for years. Today was extra special. Haven't been here in months, but decided to give it another go and sadly still disappointed overall. Place is dirty, rundown and still has no indoor seating. It honestly looks like it's heading toward closing. Hate to be negative, but when 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees run $25 and you have no where to sit, very few people will come back. Wouldn't take a huge investment to turn it around, but it doesn't look that that's the plan. Well...we just got our lattes and they are undrinkable! Zero stars for this place. I had an unpleasant experience here this morning. 9:00am Sunday morning. There were a few customers in the store but NO ONE behind me on line. There was a woman with her two grandsons in front of me finishing up their order. The sweetest looking 4 year old boy was asking the cashier (male, hefty, dark hair) if they have cream cheese there. What an adorable question to ask when you're at a bagel store! The male employee totally disregarded this child although the boy asked twice in a very respectful manner. This very unhappy looking employee then asked me for my order. Since the little guy was still standing there wondering about cream cheese, I nicely told the cashier that I'd wait to place my order while he answered the young boy. Blankly staring straight at me,as if in a trance, he asked again what my order was. Again, I said "no problem, I can wait a second to place my order" until you finish up with the previous customer. Again, a blank stare from him and the exact same question was asked of me. It was weird and scary. Customers matter, even if they are 4 years old. It would have taken this guy mere seconds to answer this child, even if he said "um duh, yes". Of course I asked him why he couldn't answer the boy and he just kept repeatedly asking me for my order. I spoke to the "manager", but from her response, I don't expect my complaint about customer service to go anywhere. She did say that her first and only priority is to help her workers get the food out as quickly as possible on such a busy day (which it wasn't). Prompt service and good service go hand in hand. It would be nice if the management and employees of this store could understand this simple rule. Shall never return. There are plenty of other places to get a bagel. read more

I love the bagels. But the manager in the store is so unfriendly. She greets you when you come in, but when she is talking to her employees, she's always angry. I've asked for plastic bags without the box, and it seems to be an issue with her. Today she filled my order, with the box, and when I told her I had asked for no box, she turned around, dumped all the bagels out, started talking to one of her coworkers, and I'm pretty sure the conversation was about me. I have heard her call a teenage customer an ***hole, because she didn't like his attitude. Not to his face, but in front of me. He did nothing wrong. Her attitude is terrible. My other issue with this store is that it's not very clean. I'm not looking to get anyone in trouble, but if you're in a customer service position, you should not be badmouthing your customers or showing your anger in front of them. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. I actually think the staff is very professional, kind and even funny at times. The bagels are fresh and I LOVE the signature creations. TERRIBLE SERVICE On 10/6/23 my wife and I came in around 7am to order 32 bagels for her companies office. As soon as we walked in, the manager (wearing black out fit) was extremely unfriendly to us. We tried to order catering online the day before and it would not allow us. We were explained to like children by the manager on how we should have done that instead of ordering in the store, making us feel we were an inconvenience to the manager. After we ordered, the manager began to argue with us that we had 32 bagels in the box when we had counted clearly only 24 she then angrily walked away and I could hear her saying some rude comments under her breath. Once we got the additional bagels she then separated our bagel sandwich's from the catering order, which we ended up leaving the sandwich's at the store due to the confusion. I called back and was able to get new sandwiches luckily. The other employees were extremely kind though. Honestly in disbelief on the whole situation. Ruined my morning and will not be going to this store again. Never met such a miserable person in my life. read more

I ordered the bagel sandwich with ham and Swiss, double egg, on an everything bagel. It was really good and hit the spot. They serve Caribou coffee here and that makes it even better. Wow, I can't believe all the low ratings. This place is an easy walk to for to grab an excellent breakfast bagel sandwich. The Chorizo Sunrise is my sandwich of choice. The chorizo has some spice, spicy jalapeño smear, and the avocado puts it over the top. I get mine with a Cheezy Hashbrown bagel. Delicious! The place was busy, but the service was quick and order was spot on. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. I come here at least 2 times a month, usually on Friday mornings and have never experienced the customer service issues noted by others. Oh and my dog loves the Doggie Bagel treat! read more

They have about 2 dozen different types of bagels plus other things like bagel poppers, pretzel type things, cookies etc. They have fresh juice, coffee, and an assortment of cream cheeses. You can get new lower fat bagel sandwiches for breakfast or lunch which I might try next time I'm there. I got a Whole Wheat bagel with Honey Walnut cream cheese, and it was good. Amazing and thoughtful service to say the least. The lady taking our order made sure to let us know her favorite menu items and what goes good with what. The manager during our visit, Cyndi, made us feel welcome and like a part of the Einstein Bros family.
