Man, I am wishing I had gone to McDonald's across the parking lot... Which is something I never thought I would say. I walked in at about 10:40 AM, there were no customers in line, two employees behind the counter. When I approached the counter to order, they began arguing about who should take my order, with one teenage boy in fact leaving the counter and going to the back to avoid taking my order. The girl behind the counter started yelling at him and told him he needed to come up and take my order, which he eventually did but he was not happy about it. I promise I'm a nice person... I seriously just want to get a bagel with cream cheese... Nothing too crazy... is it my breath? Am I dressed funny? Bueller? So I finally get my order placed and I pay... While the young man proceeded to cough all over himself, all over my change, and eventually wipe his nose on the back of his hand before handing me said change. Seriously, I don't even want this bagel anymore... or my change... Am I going to be contaminated if I take this money? And is my soul going to die if I eat the bagel that nobody wanted to make for me because it wasn't made with love? I'm telling you, McDonald's never looked so good. read more

This location is always out of bagels. (Even plain). I am also a little disappointed with their service. They are pretty slow and not very friendly. Also their bagels are not very good. I ordered a green chili bagel TOASTED with plain cream cheese and it is not toasted and there's poppy seeds from the previous customer's bagel on my cream cheese. I'm very disappointed. I love Einstein Bros but something at this location needs to change. Waited 20 min, bagel and cream cheese was smashed to be hand cut. Bagel sandwich was supposed to be on a green chile bagel but instead was on plain. They were out of a lot of items on a Saturday morning. Took over 15 minutes to receive our single toasted bagel. Also we're out of almost half of most popular bagels.

We used to love this location but recent experiences have been awful. Only 1/4 of the things we ordered was correct and they were very light on all ingredients. They were out of over half of their bagel flavor son 9:30 on a Saturday morning. My daughters ham and cheese bagel barely had any ham or cheese, my husbands honey glazed smoked salmon was totally wrong and when they corrected it, it was still missing half of the regular ingredients. Even if inconvenient we will go out of the way to go to another location. read more

My review is based on product selection and customer service. BOTH were subpar. Went in today around lunch time. They advertise lunch bagels. The bagel selection was EXTREMELY limited to begin with. After standing there for close to 5 minutes while MOTE THAN ONE employee walked back and forth behind the counter WHILE NOT ONE GREETED US OR ACKNOWLEDGED US. Apparently we were invisible. We went over to SAFEWAY who had a large selection and the bagel size was much larger. We bought 8 at Safeway and won't give Einstein's another opportunity to ignore us. read more

Like others here, stunning how slow and understaffed they are. In this Covid era, they are also taking on online orders and this compounds the problem. Waited 20 minutes yesterday for 2 bagels and cream cheese. It seems pretty logical to me to make sure your in person customers are satisfied first whereas the online customers likely aren't thinking about being inconvenienced by 5-10 minutes. They had obviously cut and toasted the bagels early in the process so by the time I got it, the bagels were cold too. I understand the challenges for restaurants in Covid but obviously their business isn't suffering so if they could just be more efficient especially with in person customers and maybe hire another person or two, they would not be getting such negative reviews. read more

We honestly came here because this place had 1 star, and we were curious to know just how bad it was. I got 2 cookies and a coffee, and my brother ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The food and coffee are great, the prices are reasonable, the place is clean, and the staff were friendly. The service wasn't good. I think only one employee was trained on the register and he was kinda slow and helped customers out of order, but he's just a kid. Overall a pleasant experience. read more

I'm right here with the other low-star reviews and I'm officially done giving this place my business and will make my own bagels and cream cheese at home if I have to. Often the order is incorrect, unfortunately not realizing until I get home when those items go straight into the trash, and then even when the order is correct the tiny amount of cream cheese used is beyond disappointing. For the price I'm paying, to have this many issues, it just isn't worth it anymore. So no thanks this location (others are still great). read more

I was really disappointed with the manager. The cooler that all the cream cheese's was out. They all were warm and several had kids that were bubbling up. The guests in front of us got a couple of them and the manager didn't say anything so I assumed he didn't know. When we approached I told him the cooler was out. He said he knew but didn't have time to put an out of order set sign yet. He ask d if we wanted the cheese from his walk in. Fine but he just watched a patron buy two cream cheeses in front of us and said nothing. I bet it was like that all day. Gross. How can you sell an item that should be refrigerated (that has probably been room temperature for who knows how long) and not say anything? If he let that slide what else does he cut corners on? I am not exaggerating by the way...the cooler was blowing out warm air and all that cream cheese was at a minimum room temp. You could feel it. Did it go down the day before? Who knows but the manager didn't see a problem selling it. read more

Pretty disappointing. Most of the serve yourself coffee dispensers were empty. Dirty floors and tables. Sugar was gone. Half and half was gone. Cup lids were gone. The guy at the register didn't know the menu. The food was wasn't great but pretty much what I expected. The place was nearly vacant of customers and none of the four people working there appeared to be doing anything when there was certainly things that needed to be done. The one coffee they had made was only so-so. I may give it another try but no time soon. read more

Does not even rate one star. We visited this establishment this morning. We placed our order, 1 apple cinnamon bagel, one sesame bagel, and two Asiago cheese bagel w/chorizo sausage, egg, & cheese. About two minutes after we paid, one of the employees called us and stated that they where out of the apple cinnamon bagel. The that same person said "Just pick another bagel". When questioned about the bagel, we were told that the bagel must have been for someone else. 1. The bagel requested was in the bin at the time we ordered. 2. The other bagels that we ordered where luke warm when we got them. 3. The Danish we ordered was stale and hard. 4. And the most disturbing, was the attitude of the employees at this location. After this experience, I will never patronize any of these establishments again. And I should have requested a full refund at the time of our purchase. read more

This place is a dump. Don't ever go. I stopped into this location about two weeks ago for a frozen mocha. I get up to the register to order my drink, and what do you know, the young girl behind the counter tells me that they don't make those drinks at this location because they don't have an espresso machine. What! What a joke! I was not happy. I settled for some "fresh squeezed OJ." after my first sip I realized that the OJ was not fresh squeezed by any means. I was even more pissed. On top of it all the store is dirty. The floor was full of food debris and trash. After sitting at the counter seat for 15 minutes, an employee walks outside and sits down at a customer table and lights a cigarette. Employees on cigarette breaks should not be sitting at customer tables. So, I ended complaining to corporate about my experience. I received an email response at first and then a typed letter with a coupon for my inconvenience. The coupon was a joke-Free coffee or espresso. Whoopdedooda. So generous. I am a big fan and frequent customer of Einsteins, but I will not be returning to this particular location. I went in for a late lunch at 1:30 PM on a weekday and they had only two types of bagels available. When I asked if they were baking any that would be ready soon, the counter person shrugged and said none were baking...Seriously? You are a bagel shop that is open until 5:00 PM. What do you think you are going to sell? Another time I came in at 3:00 PM and all the chairs were flipped onto all of the tables as if they were cleaning up to close. I was extremely disappointed going into this Einsteins location this morning. First, trying to order, the workers were not paying attention to me. After I ordered and went to the next register to pay, I waited almost 20 minutes while the cashier walked around the shop staring at me. When he finally took my payment, he was mumbling and extremely rude. While we were eating, the cashier was mopping around customers trying to walk in. He left the mop bucket laid in the middle of the shop, he left a caution sign laid on the floor and I saw some customers trip on it. I watched customers wait at the cash register as the workers stood behind the counter on their cell phones. Finally a manager came back, and I had seen he had left these clearly untrained workers alone so he could get pizza. When he came in, he laid his jacket and hat on the cooker holding the cream cheeses. Very unprofessional. I have never been to this location before because I usually go to the one off of Ken Caryl. I was extremely disappointed with this location and will never go back or recommend this location to anyone. Not a good way to start my morning and it was frustrating to see such careless people working for a breakfast place I have always enjoyed. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. The moment I walked into to the store I was greeted by employees vacuuming and preparing to close the store. When I realized this I instantly thought they were closed. Needless to say they were open until 5 P.M. and it was only 3:45. I proceeded to get a bagel. I waited at least 3 minutes for someone to come and help while all the employees were messing around. At this point I was getting very frustrated. Finally, some teenage boy came to help me. I ordered a couple of bagels. He then proceeded to ask me if my order was for here or to go. I said to go, but as I was walking to the cashier station I said obliviously I can't dine in since there is nowhere to sit. Some of the employees heard me and thought I was crazy. After I left the store I realized how the employees could care a less about their customers. I currently work in the food industry, and If I ever treated a customer this way I would be fired. Most places don't tolerate this behavior, but obliviously Einstein's does. Needless to say this store needs to put their priorities first which is customer service and not preparing to close the store. As a result, I will drive the extra couple miles to patronize different locations that care about their customers. read more
