We were so excited to get the pickle witches again this year they are our favorite. So we ordered…read morethem today and they had no cheese on them and two pieces of turkey. We asked for extra mayo packets on every sandwich did not receive one . even though it took 35 minutes we weren't upset with the time at all. Just the fact that we didn't get the sandwiches we normally received in the past, and the phone number on the receipt says that it is out of order when you try to call. So look up the number online called and it rang 50 times nobody answered. Nine dollars for a sandwich that had hardly anything on it! We love this place but very disappointed!!! Not sure If we'll order from here anymore

She acknowledged my request (barely) and began making the sandwiches. When our order was ready I checked and there was one small piece of bread guts saved. We were the first order of the day so I went and asked if we could get the rest and she refused saying "we did save you some" I said "it's probably one sandwich worth and we ordered 3 giants and 3 regular subs" she very rudely said "again, we saved you some, we can't not just save everything." Uhhhh why not? We bought the subs and she was just too lazy to put them aside? I said it was ok with me if she took them out of the bin since it was for our dog (we were the first customers of the day so there was nothing else in there) and she refused. She was just unnecessarily rude and unpleasant. The sandwiches themselves were fine, but I will not return to this location.

The 1880 Grille is in the clubhouse of the Conestoga Golf CLub. Before I went to Mesquite to see…read morethe carvings of Little Mount Rushmore et. al., I searched for restaurants. 1880 came up and I bookmarked it. I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.

Food took a long time to get to the table. We ordered fish tacos, very messy and hard to pick up 2*, chicken wings were way over cooked and hard to chew 1*, fries, okay could have been cooked more 3*. We were disappointed as we had heard great things about this restaurant but will give it another try. In the pictures the wings were photogenic but were hard to chew.

We were sat in a corner booth (table for 5) and the seat was a bit tight. We had to push the table out a bit to be more comfortable. Our server, Carlos, was very nice and attentive. Food: Salt & Pepper Pork Chop Black Bean Shrimp Porterhouse Steak Hong Kong Crispy Noodle My friend cut a piece of his Porterhouse Steak to taste and the pieces I had were delicious. Great seasoning and tender. The Black & Bean Shrimp was ok. Not the best. The fried rice was also ok. I did however enjoy the noodles. I loved the sauce. The highlight of the night was the porkchop. I loved the lightly battered crispy chops. It was so good. I haven't had a good salt & pepper pork chop like that in a while. Ill definitely return again.
