Made my husband and I both sick. When we first walked in, the ladies were talking behind the counter and ignoring us. Laughing and being unprofessional. So we moved further along the counter until we were at the register. When my husband and I were both standing at the register, they still didn't look up for a few MINUTES. when they finally did, they acted like nothing was wrong and took our order. Husband got the farmhouse, a hot coffee and a blueberry muffin, I got the all nighter, a coffee and a cinnamon bun. His muffin actually tasted like a sock. My bagel was completely flattened and had almost nothing on it. The tables were all filthy too, we had to clean it ourselves. A few hours later, he threw up and had diarrhea for a few days, and I ended up missing my flight back to Canada because I was nauseated and vomiting so much. DONT. GO. This is my favorite Einstein! The employees are so sweet and the bagels are always so so yummy. The classic bacon, egg, and cheddar bagel is soooo yummy and a safe choice always! I've been wanting to try this place out for a while now and finally got the chance!! I was in Murphy,Tx making a delivery to a customer and this location was only a few minutes away. Nice atmosphere and I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and they asked if I would be a few minutes or if I was ready to order then ! I told them it's my first time so I need a few minutes.. I went with the fresh start with egg, turkey sausage, cheese and smear .. made a combo meal and got twice backed hash browns and a vanilla cream cold brew ! One of the employees had a Bob Marley shirt on which is my favorite so I knew this was a good spot lol ... I'll def be trying other locations closer to my home in the future! Our family has been visiting this location generally once a week. Normally every time we go, there is at least one problem with the order. Also, some of their equipment has been broken down for quite some time, so certain things on the menu cannot be made. It's crazy that they haven't got that sorted out by now. It's been well over a week. Today not only was the guy taking orders at the drive-thru not welcoming or kind, but my entire order was wrong. No shmear when ordered with shmear. Extra capers when I ordered it without capers. Very non-responsive owner and employees. Again the oven is still not repaired and they can't make some of the items on the menu - instead of explaining this they just say they can't make the item and you're left wondering what the heck you did to deserve the short snippy attitude when you try to order such an item. Assuming this is a franchise owner that just doesn't give a crap about quality and customer care. They won't last long with this business model. We were looking forward to a bagel. Walked in and 6 people behind the counter. Every table was dirty with crumbs or food on it. The floor had paper and other things on it. My wife asked if a table could be cleaned and no one responded. I thought maybe they didn't hear her so mentioned it again. They heard me and just looked around. We had to clean a table. I realized after ordering that the lady that handles the food at the back counter was sitting on the counter. Her butt was on the counter???? When we got up to leave one of the other kids was sitting on the same counter. Sad that a Manager/Owner has no clue how to train employees and run a business that people want visit. read more

I've visited this location several times, and the last few visits have been disappointing. After reading through some other reviewers posts, it seems like the poor customer service/ despondent drive through server is consistent. This is what I experienced on my last few visits. Also, the food was very expensive (11.00 for a bagel and juice? Seriously?). For that price, I would hope the order was correct. Nope. The last few times I ordered the Farmhouse breakfast sandwich it was wrong, usually with the wrong "schmear". But being ever hopeful, I gave them another chance. This time, it was on a jalapeño bagel and it's supposed to be on a hash brown bagel. It was gross and I couldn't finish it. I ordered the hummus veg out bagel for lunch and it's such a disappointment. It only came with ONE slice of a cucumber on it and ONE slice of tomato. Also I went during their 20% off lunch special and did not receive 20% off my order, I didn't realize this until I got home. This is supposedly an Avocado Toast bagel! I'm not even sure why they bothered with the avocado, one there's barley any but what pieces there are is HARD! So not ripe enough to be serving. My husband asked for 2 bagels toasted and only got one, but since we weren't charged for it we didn't go back thru the drive through. The one he did receive was barley warm. This location is a recent addition to the Murphy community. I haven't been to an Einstein's in awhile and I'm glad they opened one so close to my house. Love their Asiago bagel! However, their menu isn't just limited to bagels. They offer breakfast sandwiches, soups, chopped salads, paninis, and bagel melts. For the health conscious, there is a smart choices menu where everything is under 350 calories and 15g of fat. They even had doggie bagel treats so I had to pick up a couple for my dogs. Einstein's is not very big so seating is limited. We went here this past Saturday around 2 and it was full. There is a courtyard adjacent to Einstein's for outdoor seating. It will be nice once the weather is a little warmer. read more

I was super excited to give this place another try (I tried the Einstein's since visiting College Station a couple years ago), since my last visit was great! I appreciate businesses doing their best during Covid, but the consistent problems with this location deserve a review. I've been coming to this location for a few months. They have prepared my order incorrectly on several occasions. Today they put cheese on my bagel (again!) and included eggshells in my egg (which was also very green). Went to buy two dozen bagels for my office. We asked for specific bagels and plain cream cheese to fill the order. Bagels were filled fine, but the man behind the counter wouldn't give us just the regular cream cheese. "I give you best sellers!" No thanks, we just want plain cream cheese. "No, I give you plain and others too." Then when we went to pay, he nearly demanded we pay with cash instead of the credit card we were using. Tried their Pizza bagel with cheese, it was delicious. As I walked into the store, I was approached quickly by a friendly staff, they tried telling me what's good with my sandwich. I also got a smoothie with it, as a customer I left happy. Foood was warm enough & service was very good. I recommend everyone to try their pizza bagel with a mocha frap. This location is my absolute favorite. Always the freshest, most delicious food. And you're always welcomed with a smile and a warm welcome. Because of that I asked them to cater breakfast the morning of my wedding. I had 600 people on the guest list and everyone left super satisfied. Their pastries were delicious. Fruit salads, parfaits, and bagels were delicious. And not only that l, they showed up early to set everything up and the presentation was phenomenal! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Went into this Einstein yesterday, they seem short staffed. However, they were so efficient brought my food out so quick & with a friendly smile on their faces. They all seem happy to be there. I had their Asiago cheese Turkey Avocado Bagel sandwich with their mocha smoothie. It totally hit the spot especially in that heat. The quality of food was fresh, the cleanliness of the store & friendly staff definitely earned my business & I'll be going back. The guy in the front was very friendly & made me feel super comfortable. Loved the service and I recommend everyone to try this place. Like most Einsteins, the drive thru can take a little longer than most places. Food quality is good. One time I asked if they had a seasonal brew. They did, so I ordered it black. As I'm driving down the road, I took a sip and it was black but extra sweet. I'm not sure if he mixed up my coffee or what happened but I doubt a coffee would be brewed sweet right? I've never had coffee that was brewed sweet. Anyhow, on my next trip I ordered regular black coffee. read more

It's pretty much the same as the one off 75 and 15th street. I don't what one reviewer said about the staff. Nikki, Ameen (manager) are first class and very attentive. Better service than I get at Starbucks and none of the weird political crap. I'm a bagel lover and frequent this location of Einstein on a regular basis. I also visit other locations regularly too. What's good about this location is that the employees are friendly. What's consistently challenging is that they are stingy with cream cheese spread. You often can't even tell that there is cream cheese inside due to how little they put in. Consistently. I never had this problem with other Einstein bagel locations they're usually generous with the cheese. read more

Sadly this is a great location for families to come get a bagel or other tasty food, but this location has some pretty bad service. The staff is basically rude, sits in their phones during work and unhelpful. I normally could chick this up to one bad day but it's happened consistently over the course of the last year. The only reason we go is because our kids like the brand and the bagels. Despite all of the other sad reviews the management seems not to want a change. This place needs help. read more

Love this chain in general, but this one stands apart from the rest. Why? Two reasons: 1) they actually listened when I said light on the butter. Apparently that is a hard one to follow at other locations. 2) the girl at the drive through was SUPER nice and cheerful. I only spoke to her for like 1 min, but she was exactly who I would want working guest services for my company! Wish I got her name so her bosses knew who I was referring to. Einstein overall has decent bagels and okay coffee, but this specific location has the absolute worst customer service. It is the only place within 10 minutes though that sells bagels so it is really our only choice. Listen I temper my expectations based on where I am at and I understand this is essentially a fast food chain, but at the very least you can greet your customers with a "Hello" or "How can I help you?" You can then end the transaction with "Thank you" However, after multiple trips to this location it seems as though the employees are miserable and they just look up at you with a blank stare waiting for you to order. When your food comes out they just toss it down on the counter and turn around without a word. The experience in the drive through is not any different. read more
