Very friendly service. I love Einstein's bagels but didn't order one this time: but they were well stocked and had many different varieties available to choose from. It was my first time trying their coffee; I'm a typical Starbucks girl. The vanilla hazelnut iced coffee sounded really good but I tried the vanilla sweet cream. I love flavored sweet coffee but it tasted a bit sweet for me. I did notice a lot of coffee grinds in the bottom of my drink which I didn't mind stirring but they resurfaced there again anyhow. I would definitely return for bagels and might still try a different iced coffee drink or would def try their hot coffee. read more

Not sure what is going on in this place but they cut my bagels in half instead of sliced, who would do such a thing, they were so tiny could not fit in my toaster, I go there every Friday for the exact same order, I told the manager the next week and she apologized. I've been going here for years....no issues. Today I got a bagel with Nova. There was a microscopic amount of cream cheese and 2 tiny pieces of Nova. Disappointing! Then the vanilla hazelnut coffee was empty so I tried the dark roast and it was empty too! Then they made new coffee and as I poured it grounds came out. Yuck read more

I have been a customer of the Palm Harbor Bagel Shop for over 10 years . I will never go back again . A few days ago I purchased a pre made dozen box of bagels along with other items . When I got home and opened the box there were ants crawling on the bagels and box . I had out of town quests , I threw away the box of bagels immediately . I called the next morning to inform them of my experience . I spoke with Fred , claiming to be the manager . He was disrespectful and basically called me a liar . He said I was probably seeing poppy seeds . He also said that they spray so much insect spray that it was impossible to have any bugs . He called me a liar again . Just stopped to get bagels for work and after having to wait until there was a line 5 deep because all 3 employees were in the back? the service employee acted annoyed that I wanted to pick out my dozen bagels. It is 6:30 in the morning and you have no poppy seed?? Then she sliced them all, I didn't want them sliced but she wouldn't know that because she never asked. Unprofessional harassment of guests by an obviously disgruntled employee. I was appalled to hear one of your employees berate a customer who asked for ice. Your employee was defensive, aggressive, and loud. She was confronted by a guest about her lack of professionalism but continued to yell and act defensive. Everyone in the store was disrupted and astonished that an employee would act in this offensive manner. You need to train your employees not to bully your customers... My wife and I love bagels, and there aren't many bagel places that hit the spot quite like Einstein. The people are friendly, the service is fast and the food is delicious. The location is quite convenient for us too because we live so close and we can do our grocery shopping and what not after we eat. Great place for an easy breakfast. read more

While waiting in line for 20 minutes, we noticed that there were 4 visible employees on a Sunday at approximately 10:30. We are in October and they have no pumpkin bagels! None in the oven! This store continues to show a complete lack in customer service or any urgency to make things run more efficiently. Take the extra few minutes and drive to Safety Harbor Einsteins. That location is not as big but they will take great care of you! read more

Had my daughter to go get bagels for Sunday breakfast. When she got home, she didn't have all that she ordered. When I called they remembered that she ordered 7 bagels, but she actually ordered 6. Stephanie, who answered the phone at Palm Harbor as the Largo store, could be heard screaming to Brian about the lady with 7 bagels. She basically accused us of lying... over 1 bagel. No apology for their error! No concern that someone wasn't getting breakfast this morning. Just "come back and get the bagel she claims she didn't get". Who calls and lies about 1 bagel? The way Stephanie handled my call will be the main reason why I will NEVER go to that Einsteins again. I should have sent my daughter to the bagel shop down the road.... next time I will! read more

Terrible service. Me and my girlfriend came in Saturday 9/25/2015 around 1pm. The server with long dreads working the cash register was awful. I don't know if he was high or just didn't give a crap. Very slow. He was trying to use the coffee machine to make us iced vanilla lattes and couldn't figure out the machine so only made half and then took it to the back to do God knows what, from the taste in guessing he poured old coffee from a pot into it to finish. In general the service was just terrible, no napkins, drinks were wrong, no communication. Better training is necessary for me to consider going back. read more

THIS PLACE BLOWS!!!!! They never have what you ask for. It's only bagels folks, I get it. But either I have the worst luck in the world, or they just plain suck! It doesn't cost a whole lot of money to make extra bagels folks. It really doesn't. But I have given this place way too many chances to redeem themselves. They can never get it right. It's not difficult to make a few extra bagels and to make sure there is enough for each type. This Einstein location has the worst service and rudest employees. The difference between this location and the one in Safety Harbor is night and day. Once in a while I make the mistake of going here because it is closer to home, and every time I regret it. Today was my last trip here! The rude order taker was making faces and complaining about everything. She threw my bagels in the box without any regard to mixing cinnamon sugar ones with everything ones. She snarled when I asked here to separate them. Then she slammed down bagels by the nonexistent cashier who did not show up for 5 minutes. There were twenty people waiting for orders and one person trying to do everything. twenty minutes to get a dozen bagels to go. read more

The negative comments are true unfortunately. I've given this location multiple chances hoping it was one bad visit. Food takes forever and is usually wrong. Service is unbearably and unnecessarily slow and employees are rude to customers. Last visit we had an employee swear at us for not hearing him call our name, which I'm pretty sure he never did. read more

The staff is super friendly most of the time and I usually have a good experience but my biggest complaint is that my order is literally always incorrect. I don't think I've ever received my order right the first time. The first time or two is whatever but when it's every time it starts to get old. This place sucks. Waited in line 30 minutes last Saturday to find out all they had left were everything and sun dried tomato bagels. Three people working and the line was out the door. I think the menu is too complicated, people just want a good bagel. Also, almost every order seemed to be wrong, one lady got an egg bagel and the egg was cold as well as the cheese. I bought a coffee and all they had was decaf left and they said it would be a while before they could brew more. Will never be back. read more

I have just moved here from NJ and have owned my own bagel store up north. I walked in and went to the sign that said order here and waited for the person in front of me to order and then the 2 young men making the bagels said stop taking orders your messing us up ??? So the man said order at register and there were 3 everything bagels left and when we got to register to order they sold out of everything bagels to the people behind us because they started taking orders at order sign again wow !!! So we placed our order and butter bagels not buttered a bacon sandwich with a piece of bacon I mean 1 piece of bacon again WOW !! If this is what people of Florida except for service that's truly SAD ... I do think this store needs to be trained properly because I would NEVER RETURN to this store or any other Einstein Bros bagels ever again. I was just at this location and I will say the service and quality was far from what it used to be. For starters, when it was our turn the gentleman at the counter began to take our order and then walked away from the counter mid-order to help out another employee. When he came back we finished our order for 4 bagel sandwiches, (two of which included a side and he ended up charging me for one, then ignored the other side request). As we waited they called us up to the counter and stated they were out of a bagel usually used on one of the sandwiches. We requested which bagel we desired and they also offered to exchange and toast the bagel on my sandwich. Obviously, I chose to take them up on that only to come home and find that our sandwiches were all pretty measly, and my bagel was not anywhere near toasted. With the service being incredibly slow and the fact that they couldn't take down a simple bagel sandwich order I am giving this location 1 star. I have been going to Einstein bagels since I was a kid and I still love it to this day. The bagels, of course, are amazing. My problem is you have to go in really early to get your bagel of choice otherwise they run out. I love the chocolate chip bagel with plain cream cheese. My husband and I stopped in at the Palm Harbor location on a Saturday for a 1:00 lunch. We entered to an overwhelming stench of burned bread and a smoke filled dining room. There was a great sense of disorganization behind the counter. Our order was then entered incorrectly and they were out of potato rolls for my sandwich (not the first time). We waited quite a while to pay because the cashier was also the one making and ringing up smoothie drinks for five separate individuals in front of us. When we did actually sit down we discovered one of the sandwiches we'd received was a train wreck. No cheese or mayo as was posted on the menu board and when we brought it to the attention of the sandwich builder he just commented that he was following the order screen. The dining room was littered with napkins and tables needed wiping. Once we had the order straightened out we did enjoy the food. The sandwiches were actually very tasty. It's a shame though that we had such a poor customer experience and because of it we will never return to this location. read more
