Great place that's nice and local to me (essentially adjacent to my apartment). I've been before -usually after hiking- and it's usually pretty packed /steady in the mornings until close (at 2, Apple Maps shows). The bagels are always fresh. I usually go with a plain thin bagel or, this time, went with a green chile bagel (some spice!). As shown in my photo, I ordered the ham, egg, and cheese on green chile bagel and it was under $10USD! It's definitely enough for two meals if you're like me. As side notes, I applaud the working staff for working in really difficult conditions ( I was told the restaurant has no a/c and so now they have portable a/c units throughout the area which said 82)! Also, oddly, a whole bag of food fell off the shelf into the floor without being touched while I looked on. I reported that to the staff. This is a high recommend! This was my second trip here. The employees are friendly and attentive. I got a free everything bagel with smear for joining the rewards on the app. I also ordered a 6 cheese bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It was so fresh and delicious. My friend ordered a pretzel bacon egg and cheese bagel. I think he enjoyed his just as much as I enjoyed mine. For the drink we ordered caramel macchiato with whipped cream. This place is definitely a go to. I would drive out of my way to get breakfast from here. Both times I forgot to take photos. I managed to grab a photo of my everything bagel and that was it. We have passed by this shop many times and decided to try something different for breakfast. We have had Einstein Bagels at work and they were pretty good. The signs were posted for No Smoking in front of the entrance, this is good except there were lots of cigarette butts, laying around, yuk. That was the first red flag. We entered and could not help but notice the glass in the 2 doors to the dining room was smudged with lots of hand prints-2nd red flag. At this point I needed the restroom and there were 2 stalls, 1 unflushed and the other soiled, no toilet paper. All around the store there were No Dining In signs. I am thinking why would you want to eat here in all this crud? This place was just filthy, filthy, filthy. I wish I could give this place less than 1 star. We left and went to Panera. read more

Always have to wait 30-45 mins for online orders, associates never greet waiting customers and the inside is unkept/dirty. In-person customers always get food ahead of online. Last visit I had to wait 30 mins for burrito and it was still cold in the middle. The online Guest Service team also never replied to compliant upon request. Only reason I sometimes go here is because of the convenience to the shopping center. I suggest you go to THB instead- service, bagel selection and store cleanliness are much better. read more

I came in with my youngest son on a saturday morning and we wanted to order something very simple , we did in fact get great customer service from the nice young lady and i left a tip for her good service. While talking to this young lady , another staff member working started screaming at her for im guessing a simple mistake. Young lady deserves better than that hostile environment. The staff has nothing to do with this review! All staff members have been lovely. I ordered a bagel with chive and onion cream cheese and a chai tea. The bagel was terrible, like barely toasted and just very bland bread and then on top of that they put the cream cheese on while it was too hot so it was like a very thin layer of melted liquid that soaked into my bagel. Then my chai tea had the funkiest after taste and when I had my friend confirm I wasn't crazy she said that it didn't even taste like chai to her. Turkey Saus. & Cheddar bagels were better, cleaner and we made these the thin aspect, but we got regular. The turkey sausage was even better than the bacon, no lie! We did hope the bagels would have been toasted, if they were it was lightly for sure. But that's minor really. The twice baked hash browns tasted funny, and not seasoned much. Think I'll either pass on those next time, or have S&P really upon delivery! lol I thought they did an ok job overall, everything was edible and tasty, the price was a little high for my taste ($26 for 3 breakfast bagels and 1 plain 'ol bagel). We just left this Einstein at 12 o'clock on the 26 of Oct. 2002. We will never be back. We waited a full 5 minutes because there was no one behind the counter. When the help emerged it was with an attitude for disturbing her leisure time. They were out of Asiago bagels. The place was FILTHY. Got coffee and looked around for napkins - none. So went back to the counter only to find she had disappeared again. Left to have our coffee, bagel and smear in the car only to find out the coffee was too cold to be called Luke warm. Is that all? I enjoy a good bagel maybe every 2 years, but while this place tries to offer variety it just isn't my cup of coffee. It was nice to see more options that just eggs available to put onto my bagel. Many times when driving by this dud location, it looks closed or rather closed down. Einstein seriously needs to relocate closer to the mall to benefit from the business they could receive, but maybe it's good for them. You'll be surprised when you go in and see a decent crowd sitting around enjoying their breakfast items, sipping coffee, or wasting time. It seems to have its loyal patrons though. The decor is modernized, clean, cozy, and offers multiple seating arrangements. I assume the bagels are cooked fresh everyday, but who's to know the truth unless your an everyday advocate. Anyways, most of the options on the menu are healthy yet fresh, low calorie, with small portions. They also offer about 5 different flavors of fresh brewed coffees claiming to be 100% Arabica (pictures posted for this too) and Sun Chips. It is great for the people trying to watch their figure, cholesterol, and calories, but I like to have breakfast and at least feel satisfied until lunch time. While attending, I noticed the various cream cheese shmears as they call them, and they sounded pretty tasty, haven't tried those yet. There is a decent bagel selection too, unless you come late and they may be out of a lot of the good options. I ended up getting the Club Mex Signature Sandwich...consisted of my choice bagel (Asiago), turkey, pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, and ancho mayonnaise. I posted pictures of this final creation before and after I took a couple bites. It was quite good, but like I always insist a couple more slices of meat wouldn't hurt. Since, it was a "healthy" bagel sandwich that's what you get and it was edible. I ate it all, especially because someone else bought it for me, what a treat! Keep me healthy huh? Lastly, the indulgence and dessert of this trip and the business for me are the Cinnamon Twists. Basically, twisted sticks cooked crunchy, and sweet, cinnamon, with a drizzle of frosting. I would return again, but I'd need the extra money to make sure I have lunch and dinner, so I don't starve all day long. read more

Stopped by here for the first time this morning after receiving an email offer from the Shmear Society - $7 for 6 bagels and a container of shmear. The place seemed to just be finishing up with its breakfast rush because almost all of the tables were full but the wait in line went fast. The breakfast sandwiches I saw several people enjoying in the dining room looked very good so I'll definitely be back to check them out. They have a large flavor variety and the bagels were all fresh and delicious. We got Pumpernickel, onion, asiago cheese, pretzel and cinnamon sugar which was my favorite and the honey almond shmear was so good hubby dropped his plain cream cheese like a bad habit. Staff was friendly enough and I was in and out with my order in under 10 minutes on a Sunday morning - winning!!! read more

Why are there no indoor tables and chairs? The coffee area seems to be falling apart. Dirty and what coffee is available in self serve area is cold. Very disappointed in this location used to be so much better hopefully they're going to remodel or do something to fix this location up or they are going to lose customets. read more

I send an exorbitant amount of time here because I can walk to this tried but true bagel shop. The employees have to put up with a lot of crappy customers. People are crabby in the morning and I have watched the employees simply grin and bare it so they can get on to the next person. The building is degrading and desperately needing updating, but the employees do the best they can with what they are given. The bagels are always soft and chewy on the inside and toasted perfectly on the outside. And now they are carrying Caribou Coffee, which makes getting coffee there way less cringeworthy. Also, people its a bagel shop, seriously stop asking for just eggs and bacon and get pissed when they tell you its the same price with or without the bagel. read more

I love Einstein Bagels food...just not at this location. The people at the counter were rude and unprofessional. My fiancé asked about the potato salad and the lady looked at him blankly and replied: "I hate potato salad." Ooookkkk...way to upsell lady. When I went to order I could barely get out my first word before she interrupted me with "Drink??" And the girl working the register was soooo slow even though there was a long line waiting. And we really enjoyed her smacking her gum with her mouth wide open while we paid - nice touch. Our food tasted bleh...the cheese in my breakfast sandwich was barely melted, the egg was room temp, and the bagel tasted stale. The pizza bagel my fiancé had looked better, but he was still wondering about the potato salad. And while we were eating, I think one of the cooks left something in the oven too long because the place filled with hazy smoke and smelled like burnt bread The cherry on top was the bucket of old rag water right on top of where you return the food baskets - yuck. I enjoy the breakfast grub here so I go out of my way to stop here when I'm in the area. No it's not the cat's meow or anything but at the price and the quality it can't really be beaten. First off, let me just admit that I have a certain bias against chain food establishments. Sorry! So what the hell was I doing in Einstein Bros? The fact is, I moved to Maryland, and let's just face it, good ol' merlin just aint bursting with decent non-chain food stores. Especially when you are starving and need some sort of breakfast at 12:30pm. My friend and I split an order of an egg-spinach-tomato-provolone omelet sandwich on a sesame bagel and an open-faced lox-tomato-red onion-caper thing on sesame bagel as well. Which was a good move, considering the egg sandwich lacked flavor but had warmth (soothing for a cold rainy day) and the lox thing was extremely salty (i heart capers). We were hungry again in less than an hour. I might have to swear off chain restaurants for good and just suck it up and cook breakfast at home. My somewhat-related wish list? Brunch at Baker Street Bistro, Ella's, Universal Cafe, Dottie's True Blue Cafe, or Home Plate. Sigh. read more

Well, I hate to be the bearer of good news, but my first experience at Einstein Bros Bagels was good! I have drove past this place approximately 1,038 times and never actually went inside. As a matter of fact, I really thought that this place was on the verge of closing down due to the lack of cars I see in the parking lot. Nonetheless, I decided to give Einstein Bros Bagels a shot. A benefit of this place is the fact that the serve breakfast foods late into the afternoon. When you have those days where you don't get up until 1 in the afternoon (like I did today), its good to know that you can come here to get some type of breakfast. The sandwich bagel was good and was eaten quickly, maybe because I was pretty hungry? If not for the prices, this would be a default spot to come to for a breakfast sandwich. Until then, this is just a place to come to when all the other places in the area close up their breakfast menus for the day. read more
