Hey friends! I had an appointment in the area so I stopped in to see what Gino's had to offer. This spot is known for their burgers. They also offer chicken sandwiches, fried shrimp platters and more. I was really impressed at their milkshake menu. They offer at least 20 classic and unique flavors. I didn't get a milkshake this trip. I ordered the Gino's Burger with a side of fries($16). The burger was okay, nothing drive another hour for lol. Very similar to Five Guys. I didn't care for the fries because steak fries are my least favorite type of fry. Customer service was friendly. Parking is ample and free. Price point is very affordable. Their new breakfasts are AWESOME. They just started with new breakfast hours and a menu, so I live in fear they'll change their mind, because I am already so smitten. I've gotten the eggs, the egg sandwich, and the egg burrito, and each one was amazing. The menu has the sandwich and burrito both coming with meat but they happily swapped out meat for an extra egg when I asked each time. I was in the area recently and stopped at Gino's in Towson for lunch. I've been here before and already knew their food was great. Way above your typical fast food burger place. If you've never been there, it's a great experience. The restaurant itself was immaculate and service was quick. The food is prepared after you order. You go to your table and they bring your food to you, it's always nice to know it's made when you order. I've found their burgers and chicken are great, but I go mostly for nostalgia of the Gino Giant, just as I remember back in the day. The shakes are also 1st class. The staff is very friendly and do not make you feel like you're interrupting their lives taking care of you as a lot of places now a days do. That speaks highly of management and the staff. The staff was incredible for me this day, to another level, as I dropped my wallet in the store and did not realize until I got home a couple hours later, that it was missing. After stressing as you can imagine, I started to make phone calls to track my wallet down. Gino's was first on the list as it was the last place had been. Luckily for me, Steve, one of the staff members, found my wallet at the table I was sitting and gave it to the manger Ryan. Ryan got my address from my ID but had no phone number and because he was heading in that direction on his way home, personally delivered my wallet to me at my house. Just a small stop along the way he said. A big wow! for Steve turning it in, and Ryan delivering it to me. That's character and pride in how you treat your customers and people in general. Gino's has always been delicious, quick, and a positive place to eat! This location has always had a quick turn around when dining in. We've lived in Towson for 13 years and have eaten here numerous times in person and a lot through delivery. Walking in, you're guided to the front that's well lit, and stocked with people ready to help. From fries, to burgers, dogs, and sides, everything is topped off with their delicious milkshakes. I always get a Bleu Burger with Fries and a shake and have never been disappointed. Seriously, ever in all the visits. Everything has been consistent. I remember the original Gino's restaurants growing up. I saw on a retro page on FB someone had visited this location, so I decided to take a trip down memory lane. I drove over an hour to get here, but it was a delightful experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and hard working. They even bus the tables when one is finished dining. I had the Gino Giant, Old Bay Fried, and Cole slaw. Everything was good. The restaurant was very clean & well maintained. There is a section honoring the founder, Gino Marchetti. The chairs were sturdy & comfortable. There was convenient accessible parking & restrooms. They also had Gino's T-shirts. I hope to return to try some of the other dishes since it was a great experience. They also have milk shakes in many flavors, although I did not try one. We ordered takeout for dinner. I called in the order and was pleased with their service and attention to detail. I didn't pick up the order but it was correct when I checked it. We had 3 grilled chicken sandwiches and 2 salads. My family has been here before especially because they can get a grilled chicken sandwich with no salt for my dad. This was my first time. Fiancé and I were in the mood for burgers so we stopped by Gino's on a random Saturday afternoon after running errands. Not our first visit since the Towson location is close to home. We decided to dine in because some things just taste that much better when you can enjoy it right away. I opted for the single burger w/ onion, lettuce, pickle, and tomato ... simple single classic. My fiancé tried one of the creations, the Firehouse burger. It's topped with chili, two onion rings, cheddar cheese, lettuce and mustard (omitted). After his first bite, I needed to try because the cheese pull was insane. Immediately after eating I noticed the buns were different, I don't recall them having potato buns before but I was happy with that change! We shared old bay fries and I enjoyed an Oreo milkshake. This was a random stop for me. After a day of shopping, I was hungry and decided to look for restaurants near me. I liked that they had a dine in option. I created my own burger (single patty, American cheese, pickles, grilled onions and mustard) and added chili cheese fries as the side. My hubby got the Firehouse burger. They have an expansive menu and over 20 shake flavors posted on the wall. After ordering, you are given a order number to place on your table and can select seating. Our food was brought out within 10 mins. It was hot and fresh. I was impressed on the first bite. The patty was flavorful! Additionally, the chili cheese fries were loaded with meat, beans, and cheese. The flavor was good and the portion was filling. I ate 1/2 of my burger and 1/4th of the fries. I packed the remainder to go and finished it later that night. The dining area and women's restroom were clean. There was also a big rush around 7:45pm (families and groups of young adults) so I assume this is a popular establishment. R&B music was playing as well but it was not too loud. I will definitely be back. My specific burger tasted almost like the cheeseburger I order at five guys. For 2 burgers and chili cheese fries, we spent approx $22. This is way better than drive through burger places. The only negative critique came from my partner who mentioned that having the hamburger bun toasted or warmed would enhance the burger. When my sons have a craving for burgers, and if we're in the area, we drop in. Even though they always order the burgers, the real treat is the Build Your Own (BYO) Portabella sandwich. It's so delicious! It's an entire Portabella mushroom cap that has been grilled and placed between 2 buns. Like burger but make it earthy! For toppings I always get grilled onions, tomatoes, provolone cheese, and fried egg. (I would add lettuce but each time I do, the lettuce have a weird taste like maybe the plastic bag it comes in. I recommend a hard pass on the lettuce.) I also order this with a side of fries. It's the perfect quick lunch or dinner! I suggest you stop by when you want fast but pretty good food. read more

Stopped in for a burger and some onion rings. I ordered the Hickory burger which is a double burger with bacon, cole slaw, barbecue sauce and onion rings. The burger was good. It was well cooked and the toppings were excellent. The burger wasn't as fresh as I'd liked compared to a place like Five Guys, but overall good. The onion rings are fantastic! I still think this place has the best onion rings I've ever had. The place was fairly clean, but the tables were a little greasy. The service was awesome. All employees we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. They came to the table twice to see how we were. This is one of our goto's when in Towson. We'll definitely be back. Ordered a single burger and still couldn't finish the meal so brought some home for later. From the time Laura took our order with a smile and friendly service it took about 5 min before our shakes were delivered to our table and a few min later our food was delivered. We were also asked twice if everything was Ok and if we needed anything. As I was on crutches we sat by the exit door at a booth and I only noticed some crumbs on my seat that needed wiping off but other than that the restaurant was clean. The music was not too loud and was playing a nice bit of rock from different decades. I noticed that on Monday, they give a discount for military & 1st responders. On another day they offer discounts for students. There were other discounts available on other days which I couldn't get a pic of from my seat. Definitely recommend trying Gino's if you're in the area. I should mention that they have awesome onion rings (so I'm told as I can't eat onions). I stopped in Gino's after a 8 hour drive to TN because we don't have one in my state and I missed the onion rings and special sauce. After going to this location I might never be back again. I ordered one burger, 2 onion rings, and 2 large shakes and the total came to $31. The onion rings were the most oily disgusting thing I've ever eaten my life. A far cry from the the Gino's I remembered. I also asked for a chocolate shake with m&ms. They made me a vanilla shake instead. When I informed them of the error the took my straw out with their hand, added chocolate syrup to it and remixed it (hello COVID). The result was equally disgusting as it was just a vanilla shake with half mixed chocolate Syrup streaked throughout it. I don't know if it was an off day but geez way to break a girl's heart. I stopped in for a portobello mushroom 'burger' and I'd have to say it was absolutely the worst tasting sandwich I've ever taken two bites of. The mushroom tasted like vinegar...I'm guessing they marinaded it...note to Gino's--don't marinade your mushrooms in vinegar anymore. Vinegar was all I could taste along with the iceberg lettuce. The onions had no flavor, neither did the mayo or provolone...it was all overwhelmed by the flavor of vinegar. I took a second bite just to be certain it was as bad as I thought...yep..yuck! Straight in the trash and I really hate wasting food. On the upside, they do a decent Edy's ice cream malted, but that mushroom sandwich needs an overhaul. Gino's is a unique burger joint in Towson. They used to have Gino's in Aberdeen, but it closed down like three years ago. Anyways this place has some good food. I really love their burgers, and their shakes are to die for. They have over 40 different flavors for shakes. I tried like ten of them, and they're so good. They have really good food, and the place inside is very nice. I felt like I was in a 70s burger joint. I normally get the Gino Giant, and a different flavor milkshake. Most of the time it's a Reese's PB Cup milkshake. The people are friendly here, and they normally bring you your food.
