Dirty floor, It isn't busy. Someone could be sweeping and mopping this

The floor behind the counter is disgusting. It needs a sweep and mop. I hate seeing this. It isn't even busy

The staff was kind, the service was quick, the facility was clean. The fries were good and hot as was the burger wrap. The wrap was just ok but keep in mind that I didn't get the special sauce, which could make the difference. The cost, a little pricey for burgers and fries in my opinion. I would still go back because of the excellent service alone. Oh, there is plenty of parking

I remember the original Gino's restaurants growing up. I saw on a retro page on FB someone had visited this location, so I decided to take a trip down memory lane. I drove over an hour to get here, but it was a delightful experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and hard working. They even bus the tables when one is finished dining. I had the Gino Giant, Old Bay Fried, and Cole slaw. Everything was good. The restaurant was very clean & well maintained. There is a section honoring the founder, Gino Marchetti. The chairs were sturdy & comfortable. There was convenient accessible parking & restrooms. They also had Gino's T-shirts. I hope to return to try some of the other dishes since it was a great experience. They also have milk shakes in many flavors, although I did not try one. I would recommend Gino's to anyone, especially those who remember the original.

We ordered takeout for dinner. I called in the order and was pleased with their service and attention to detail. I didn't pick up the order but it was correct when I checked it. We had 3 grilled chicken sandwiches and 2 salads. My family has been here before especially because they can get a grilled chicken sandwich with no salt for my dad. This was my first time. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I loved the Garden Salad with breaded chicken. I already mixed in the ranch dressing in the pic posted.

Fiancé and I were in the mood for burgers so we stopped by Gino's on a random Saturday afternoon after running errands. Not our first visit since the Towson location is close to home. We decided to dine in because some things just taste that much better when you can enjoy it right away. I opted for the single burger w/ onion, lettuce, pickle, and tomato ... simple single classic. My fiancé tried one of the creations, the Firehouse burger. It's topped with chili, two onion rings, cheddar cheese, lettuce and mustard (omitted). After his first bite, I needed to try because the cheese pull was insane. Immediately after eating I noticed the buns were different, I don't recall them having potato buns before but I was happy with that change! We shared old bay fries and I enjoyed an Oreo milkshake. All in all, the food was yummy and I'm sure we'll be back again in the future.

Kids Meal with Milkshake (2 Piece Chicken Tenders, Onion Rings, Birthday cake shake)

Great kids meals! Skip the toys and just give great portions of fresh hot deliciousness and you'll win my kids heart again and again. The chicken tenders, onion rings and mini shake for a small up-charge are her go to's. Pro tip pop in on a Wednesday for Kids Day and a kids meal is free with the purchase of a full priced adult meal! We also love their burgers (I'm looking at you Towson burger) and the Buffalo chicken wrap (which you can get with grilled or fried chicken). I haven't decided which is better I flip flop depending on my mood!

Reminds me of when we had a Gino's back in Frederick. I usually stop by when I'm near Towson. I'll be back.

Do they still sell the T-shirts in the photos?

    Wings any good?

I have never tried wings. If it's any help, my husband has gotten many different chicken meals here and was always satisfied. I have tasted some chicken and it's good. Have a great day

I think to help combat food contamination, the prep maker needs to clean off the knife every time they cut their subs. I had the Club sub, like always, but mine had some extra stuff that I didn't ask for like their was a piece of roast beef that happen to tag along with my sub which doesn't come with my sub, as well on the cut tip of the sandwich had the taste of hots, which I do not like and surprisingly I got a mouthful. Not good.

FYI, it is easier to enter from Joppa Road even though it has a Putty Hill Avenue address - it is across from where DSW shoes used to be. They have about 3 tables to eat in. Not knowing the drill, we had to figure out that you needed to go to the back of the store to order your food. They take your order. What was impressive was that the cold meats and cheeses were cut to order. The subs come in 3 sizes - mini, regular, and giant. You order by #. All subs are made to order. We had a #17 ($18.65), which was a Mike's Famous Philly that normally comes with grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese. We asked for ours to have just the meat, provolone and mayo. I wish I had thought to say light mayo, because it had way too much on the sub. The rolls were soft, but a lot of bread. The other sub we ordered was a #13 ($17.95) which was The Original Italian, which came with provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni - then they added lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. This sub was loaded with meat and cheese. The subs are not inexpensive - the minis run about $7.45, regular $10.25, and giant $17.95 (depending on what sub you order). Don't be surprised to see when you check out there is a request for a tip!

Great options for an authentic Italian market! In fact, I brought my in-law here for a sandwich a few years back, they were visiting from Italy, and thought the sandwich was very authentic to their markets in Italy. I love all of their holiday foods as well. We picked up a bunch of chocolate eggs and ingredients to make tiramisu for Easter. They even offer wine tastings on Saturdays! I have been a longtime fan of the DiPasquales family businesses, from their classic Italian markets in Baltimore to their new speakeasy style restaurant, Forno. Living in the county, I have always known about Mastellone's but somehow forget that it delivers the same amazing quality as the more modern DiPasquales locations. I finally made the trip to grab a weekday lunch and could not have been happier with my subs. The shop sits along a busy stretch of Harford Road, so be ready to parallel park quickly or find a nearby side street and walk over. Inside, it is everything you want in a true old school Italian deli. No frills, just shelves full of authentic Italian groceries, a big cold case with sauces, side dishes, desserts, and even a solid wine selection to take home. I ordered the Old World Italian sub, made with sopressata, capicola, prosciutto, fontinella cheese, olive tapenade, tomato, and a drizzle of EVOO on a toasted fresh baked roll. It was absolute perfection. The meats were thinly sliced and perfectly layered so that every bite had the full mix of flavor and texture. Salty, a touch spicy, and incredibly satisfying. At twelve dollars, it is the ideal price point for a weekday lunch that feels like a treat. The staff could not have been nicer. They were friendly, efficient, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Overall, Mastellone's is everything you want in a neighborhood Italian deli and absolutely worth the trip for anyone chasing elite level hoagies.

I'm a big fan of cinnamon raisin pretzels and was happy to see that theirs didn't come with extra cinnamon sugar on top. They do offer a separate cinnamon sugar pretzel for those who prefer that. The glaze on the cinnamon raisin pretzel was perfect for me. My husband tried the pecan caramel pretzel as well as an original, with a large orangeade. What I appreciated most about the cinnamon raisin pretzel was its freshness and the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. The original pretzel had just the right amount of salt, which was great. We didn't care for the pecan caramel pretzel much. The pecans were a bit too toasted and it lacked caramel. The orangeade was delicious! I'll definitely be returning because the service was great and the quality of the pretzels really stands out. The all-beef pretzel dog is next on my list!
