They have a good variety of breakfast style bagels and lunch bagels. I got the chocolate iced coffee, currently on promotion for $1.99, and it was really good! Uhm why was my bagel so small and had not much shmear on it? Devastating! My friend and I came in half an hour before closing and I was going to leave because I didn't want to order so late, but my friend convinced me to buy because I had really wanted a bagel. Took them about 5 minutes to make (neutral observation) However, when I finally opened my bagel later (we didn't dine in because I felt it was too close to closing), I saw the saddest, tiniest bagel I ever seen in my life :( Usually Einstein's are known for giving an excessive amount of shmear (always way too much for me that I actually have to remove some of it) but this time it wasn't enough even for me. This was a first time going to an Einstein Bros Bagel location. I've seen a few locations pop up around my area. This location is quite spacious. There are plenty of tables inside and a number of patio seating outside. The location is clean and all the options and bagels looked very delicious. I noticed a QR to sign up for the app to get some free rewards. The service here was fine. The cashier that I spoke with was friendly and answered questions I had about the app rewards for initially signing up. I appreciated her kindness and the time she took to help me. She mentioned to redeem rewards you need to do an online order which I ended up doing. I ordered the Oktoberfest sandwich and redeemed my free coffee and waited in store until it was ready. The order took about 10 minutes to complete. The gentleman working was very engaged and calling out names making sure people can hear their orders. However, other staff behind the counter also don't seem very approachable or smile much. As for the food, the Oktoberfest Egg Sandwich was just ok for me. The pictures definitely sell you on wanting to try it. But, it was underwhelming for me. The coffee was great though. I think next time I'd try just the bagel and spreads and see how that goes. read more

I've never been a bagel guy. I reckon that's because the decent bagel shops have always been a freeway ride and more away from me. I never had a Bruegger's, West Coast, or Einstein Bros. within a five minute drive for me. It would have always involved a serious amount of effort and time. That's why I'm glad they opened an Einstein so close to me. I've had it over the years--most recently in Utah--and I think it's a solid chain for when one is in the mood for a breakfast bagel like I was this morning. My sausage and cheddar was super scrumptious, and I was much appreciative for the solid pour of endless coffee available here. The bagels here look so plump and fresh and inviting compared to the limp examples I get from the grocery store. The staff was alright. They were a little curt, but that's understandable with the good-sized line that was formed behind me. It was not enough to ruin the flow and vibe of the place. I loved that there was so much room compared to the last location I went to in Utah. It'll make coming here again for a good light breakfast and a read so much more comforting. Overall, this is a good addition to the neighborhood and one I welcome with both arms. read more

Einstein bagels here are delicious and fresh. Lots of varieties to choose from. Menu is diverse- lots of choices for breakfast and lunch. This Einstein is happily new to this area - finally we don't have to drive to Pasadena to get fresh good bagels! The cons are it is quite pricey and the hours are terrible. Closing at 2:30 PM is kind of a bummer. The first time I went to try it, it was 2:15 PM and the "closed" sign was up, but the door was open and I saw a worker inside. I thought surely they *can't be closed*, it's still technically lunchtime and in addition, they do serve lunch items like sandwiches with cold cuts and turkey on a bagel. I was starving (late lunch) and took a chance- I walked in, the lone worker just looked at me, so I asked: are you closed? And he said: 'Yes we are sold out' whilst standing directly in front of a case full of bagels. Huh? It would be smart to at least stay open until 3 or 4 PM to catch people on their lunch hours. I finally made it in one morning to pick up a bagel pack (6 or 13 bagels + a schmear) for my office. Pro-tip: pre-order on their app or online. Otherwise, the wait is overly long in my opinion. Not sure why its so slow, only a handful of people were there- maybe they are busy with online-app orders. Also get bagels pre-sliced- much easier to dig in. I do like their bagels so I'll be back. They are quite new, so for now I'm giving them a chance to iron out their grand opening wrinkles. I hope they do, because this shopping center tends to be a revolving door of failed food businesses. To thrive, they need to cater to college students, employees of both colleges, and ladies who shop at home goods. So, good deals, good food, hours that correlate to that clientele's schedule. Stopped by this Einstein Bagels while visiting TJMaxx/HomeGoods in the same plaza. We hadn't had lunch yet, so we decided to try their sandwiches. Right away, some red flags: 1. The store had a "closed" sign up even though it wasn't near closing time, and there were already customers eating inside. 2. An employee flipped it back to "open" after we walked in. 3. At least 5 staff were behind the counter, but every table was dirty. 4. No one came out to clean, even though only four other customers were dining in. 5. The cashier didn't seem welcoming at all--definitely not the friendliest vibe. 6. We had to wipe down our own table just to sit and eat. The food was okay, sandwiches were decent and the drinks were actually pretty good, but the lack of basic cleanliness and customer service really stood out. The staff (mostly younger) seemed more focused on chatting with each other than taking care of the store. Overall, pretty disappointing experience. Well, what can I say -- this place is really a hit or miss. The food itself is usually decent, but the overall experience has been slipping, and today was the last straw for me. The long lines, the constant shortage of basic menu items, and the slow service have become the norm. I waited over 30 minutes for my order today, only to be told the ticket was "accidentally bumped behind." Not exactly reassuring. When I finally got my food, no one mentioned they had run out of hash browns. They just tossed a muffin into the bag as a replacement -- and honestly, if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't have said a word. On top of that, I requested extra capers on my lox bagel, and when I got home, there were none. I let the manager know about the inconvenience as I left. She seemed overwhelmed, which I get, but it doesn't change the fact that the customer experience is suffering.
