I had a great lunch at International Deli. This location is known for their man sandwich options and some salad options. The location has a typical set up of a quick service Deli. There's one register to order and the staff greets everyone as they walk in. There are many tables inside and a few patio seats outside. A good option if you have time to eat lunch and relax for a few moments. I ended up wanting to try the Grilled Chicken Breast Caesar Salad Wrap. The staff asked which wrap I would like and I went with the spinach. During lunch there was a small flow of customers. My order was ready fast. There had some hot sauces to use by the soda dispenser. This presentation looked amazing! I love Caesar salads and enjoying in a wrap form was new experience for me. Solid option in my opinion. Many textures going on with every bite. Crisp lettuce and crispy croutons gave this soft wrap the crunch it needs. I would order this again on a return visit. Overall, a good experience for my first time. The sandwiches were much smaller than I anticipated, despite being told in advance that a regular is 6 in and a large is 8 in. I'd opt for the 8 in next time because the regular disappeared too quickly. I tried the Zylstra, which I didn't realize was someone's name until I looked at the paper menu and saw "Coach Zylstra" listed under the hot sandwiches. All the ingredients complemented each other well and the bread was very thin but crispy, so it didn't detract from the fillings. My boyfriend loved his pastrami sandwich and regretted getting the regular as well. It's a small family-owned business that seems to have regulars, which is very endearing, but most people take their orders to go. Dropped by during lunch time. Plenty of options from cold to hot sandwiches. I ordered a large size (8") Club sandwich and a regular size (6") Italian for take out. Both sandwiches were made to order, and contained plenty of ingredients (eg meats, cheese, etc). Can't go wrong either sandwiches. Great sandwich place that is popular - you could tell with the customers who came in person and phone orders. Base price for a regular 6in is 8.99$ and then if you want to add their popular sqwaw bread you will add a but more. I got their turkey sandwich and it came with the regular lettuce and tomatoes. My hubby got the pastrami which came out to be a little pricier but didn't have the lettuce and tomatoes - but this was pur bad for not ready their menu properly. Their smoke house turkey and bacon sandwich is good. Turkey, bacon, and avocado is fantastic. Fast service considering they make it fresh and delicious. Price is about $16 per person just for the 8" sandwiches alone, which is higher than most sandwich shops offering 12" subs. You have the option to dine in but the owner is pretty suggestive about customers do takeout instead, if ordering around 3:45 PM, this is the only vibe which made the experience poor. Tried this place for lunch today. It's such a cute little place with lots of tables if you want to eat there. I ordered a smoked turkey on squaw bread, and my husband ordered the squaw tuna. Admittedly, I always order the same one - the Avocado Melt. I'm not a vegetarian, but I am equal parts avocado and cheese lover. lol It is a delicious, warm pressed sandwich on sourdough bread with melty cheese and fresh veggies. Love this place. It's been a staple of Daimond Bar for at least 30 years. Still putting out some of the best sandwiches in the land. My favorite is the International sub or the Tuna.
