LoveChCh has finally opened their second location in the plaza near Starbucks/HK Cafe/Fu Restaurant. They took over the space that was previously Pro Tacos when they expanded. They have a lot to offer now than when they first started with churros and chilaquiles. Sandwiches, salads, and bagels are now on their menu. The seating area is clean and spacious. I ordered the chicken ciabatta sandwich, the Churros Artisan w/ dulce de leche sauce, and the Cafe de Olla (not on the menu, but there are pots of it by the register). The sandwich was packaged so beautifully, it was a generous size sandwich and was very tasty with the pesto. It comes with a choice of pickles or chips. The churros hands down are one of the best I've had. FYI, they have churro happy hour from 3 pm - closing. And the Cafe de Olla was fantastic as well. I normally go to Cafe de Olla in Monrovia for my cafe de Olla fix, or make it myself at home, but now I know of a place close by that sells it! The owner was super friendly and was a joy to talk to. I'm so happy for them that they've done so well to open another location!

Chilaquiles with green salsa, egg and chicken.

Omg!!! This place has amazing chilaquiles! My first time here and I ordered the chilaquiles with green salsa, egg and chicken. It was very flavorful and so delicious. We also ordered the protein bagel and that was also amazingly delicious and fulfilling!! Finally we ended our lunch with a churro and vanilla ice cream. The waiter was very friendly and the restaurant is nice and clean. I will definitely will be back!

    Carne asada with red salsa

Service and ambiance were fantastic from start to finish. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing--our group tried the red, green, and mole, and every single one was delicious. Each had the perfect amount of sauce, flavorful without being soggy. And don't skip the freshly made churros... they were truly to die for. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Mini Churros and Green Salsa Chilaquiles with 2 over easy eggs. The best!

This is our favorite chilaquiles place. No other restaurant makes chilaquiles as good as LovChCh. The churros are our favorite and better than any of the food trucks. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and not too oily. The owners are so friendly and welcoming as well.

Service was courteous though not immediate. Coffee is from a local roaster and brewed fresh by the 16 ounce cup. No refills as it's by the order, but it's a good size and very good. Only drawback was grilled foods had a slight of oil taste and a few things left off my order, but not a major deal. I would give 4.5 so since I have to go by even stars I'll go 5.

This kinda service and nonsense seating policy on a hump day, is the type that drive customer like me away and choose franchise establishments such as panera or starbucks which located less than a mile away. None of the coffee refillable. No Creamers options/ milk options, sense was just unwelcoming and wouldn't want to come back. Maybe in another 8 years. There were plenty of parking as it's in a shared plaza. For the store, it's a moderate size but it was definitely busy at the time we went. For ordering, you'll need to order at the counter before sitting down. After browsing the menu, we decided on the pink vodka pasta and the rich miso pasta (Taiwanese sausage added). American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

I took my mom here for a Mother's Day brunch and my birthday celebration because it falls around…read morethe same time every year. I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

It's a brown sugar milk tea with caramel foam with a floating frozen milk tea bear. ADORABLE!! The set even includes two house-made cookies. WOW! TASTY!! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 10:21AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. However, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is very hidden. It has no visibility from the street! Staff is very professional and welcoming. Staff politely and cheerfully answered all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. For example, the location does not have a paper menu; all the menus are accessed via QR Code. Fortunately, Staff let me borrow their iPad which allowed me to see the menu on a larger screen. When I'd arrived, Staff asked if I was dine-in or to-go. I was immediately seated. When I'd inquired about the boba. Staff honestly told me that they needed 15 additional minutes to prepare the boba. I brightly waited. All in all, after the 15 minute wait, the drink took an additional 10 minutes before being ready. As mentioned, I ordered the Boba Bear Set ($8.50). CUTE!!! It's a very aesthetic and memorable presentation. The boba pearls came perfect; they're bouncy, perky, and playful. The brown sugar milk tea mixed with the caramel foam tasted honey-like. It's very TASTY! My biggest nitpick is that the amount felt tiny. Still, it's a wonderful memory that I'm so happy to experience! On ambiance, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is comfortable and clean. There's about 13 interior tables, and there's six patio tables. The music is slow-tempo, and the tall ceiling made it feel spacious. In addition, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are available on the QR code menu. There's also about four electrical outlets. I also appreciated the self-service water station. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) felt very hidden yet well-maintained. It's a lovely spot. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience. I discovered AMAZING milk tea and many precious memories. If searching for someplace special, I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5

Mother's Day Dining Experience To the Management Team,…read moreI am writing to share my recent experience at your establishment this past Mother's Day. As a long-time fan of your restaurant, this was one of my favorite places to dine; however, my experience during this visit was deeply disappointing due to a lack of communication and poor service standards. My primary concerns are as follows: Limited Menu Communication: Upon arriving, I was disappointed to find a restricted holiday menu that did not include the dishes I had specifically come for. While I understand the need for a limited menu on busy holidays, this should have been communicated to guests waiting outside. Waiting an hour to be seated only to realize the items I craved were unavailable was a significant letdown. Inattentive Service: Despite the restaurant not appearing to be at full capacity, the service was lacking. My father's meal arrived significantly later than the rest of the table's, and basic needs--such as coffee refills for my mother and water for the table--were never addressed. No one checked in to see if we were satisfied with our meal at any point. Gratuity Policy: Regarding the 18% gratuity for parties of six or more, I completely respect the policy in principle. However, when the service does not meet basic expectations, being told I must pay a specific dollar amount--in this case, $40--feels intrusive. I am someone who genuinely enjoys leaving generous tips in cash to reward good service; being forced to pay a set amount for a subpar experience felt less like a gratuity and more like an unjustified surcharge. I believe your establishment is capable of much better. I hope you take this feedback into account to ensure future holiday guests receive the transparency and quality of service that originally made me a loyal customer.

Parking is super easy as it's in a plaza and shares a big lot with other businesses. They had a special menu, so I'm not too sure what is and is not part of their usual menu, but this is what we ordered: 1. Baltimore Crab Cakes (comes with 2): we were pleasantly surprised as it came with a side salad; the crab cakes themselves were not dry at all and came with a good amount of crab. Delicious, 5/5 2. Heirloom tomato and stone fruit salad: one of the things they pride themselves on is sourcing their ingredients locally and sustainably. You can really tell with this dish that all of their ingredients are really high-quality and fresh. The stonefruit was super sweet. The price ($18) was a bit high for the portion size, so this was a 4/5 for us. 3. Crab & tonnarelli: really good cook on the pasta; my husband is really picky on pasta that's overcooked, but this came to us perfectly al dente. There was a good amount of crab as well, so we appreciated that they didn't skimp. That said, the taste was a bit one-toned and underseasoned, which is a lot coming from us since we typically complain about food being too salty. If it came with a bit more salt, it would've been one of our favorites. 3.5 (maybe 4)/5 4. Pork sisig and garlic rice: we love sisig, so we had to order it. While it was super flavorful and delicious, we couldn't finish it on the spot since it was pretty salty and we were getting full. We did take it home and cook some more vegetables into it to dilute the salt a bit. 4/5 5. Ricotta cheese pancakes: super fluffy and airy, you can tell why they need 20 minutes to prep them. Again, the fruit they used was super fresh and sweet. Loved, no notes. 5/5 Service-wise, there were some hiccups with our orders. Our salad came to us without the burrata and when we asked them about it, it took about 3-4 people double-checking their menu to confirm it actually came with burrata, then a handful more minutes to rectify it. It seemed strange to me that they were unfamiliar with their own menu. Our pork sisig dish came out much later than every other dish and our waiter had to check up on it a few times, so it may have just gotten missed. There seemed to be a lot of people working in the front, but somehow hard to flag them down and get helped when we needed it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was Mother's Day and I'm sure it was busier than usual. Our waiter was also gracious in comping a drink as a result of the long wait for the sisig. Overall, we'll still come back as we want to try other dishes and we do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and their integration of vegetables with dishes, which can sometimes be hard to come by. Just wanted to provide some feedback on service in hopes they'll take it constructively.
