I hired them to pack my mom's stuff and move her across town (in San Antonio) and I have no complaints. They showed up exactly on time, they had all of the moving supplies on hand, and there was nothing damaged or broken. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat! The only thing to be aware of (and this might be the case with all moving companies) is they will not move cleaning chemicals or alchohol. Franklin and Brendan did a great job moving my daughter from one apartment to another across town. They took great care with her belongings. She only had a 1 bedroom apartment but it took them about 4 hours to pack her up. They took longer getting to and unloading at the new place. I wish there had been less chit chat and they moved quicker since we were paying by the hour for their services but I appreciated the care they took and that there wasn't a language barrier in discussing the packing and handling of her items at any point. We have moved a LOT over the years with the military and this was definitely an easier all around move from start to finish. Highly recommend Einstein for your local move! read more

Einstein Moving Company is the way to go y'all!!! The esposo and I got a new house a couple of weeks ago and since I am pregnant we decided to get some professional help for this move. After reading multiple reviews on Yelp, we decided to go with Einstein Moving Company. Reaching out to them via Yelp was super easy and in a couple of minutes they were able to give us an estimate. Communication before the move was super clear and they sent a really funny email which I believe others have mentioned in previous reviews. The day before our move, someone called us to check if there were any additional items or perhaps delicate items they should know about. I told them about our hardwood floors which are very easy to get scratched and the person on the line made a note so that our movers would bring extra protection for our floor. We moved from an apartment to a small home, and since we don't have a lot of items we decided to just hire two people. In a matter of just over 3 hours the two guys completed the entire move to our new home (WOW!). Keep in mind that our new house is just 15-20 minutes away from the old one, and they were able to move everything and reassemble our bed and couch in just that time! In comparison, I think the whole move would've taken us a good day and a half to complete on our own. Nothing was damaged during our move and they made sure to cover our floors and door frames so they wouldn't get damaged on the move. Frankly, this is the best money I've ever spent in years! They covered everything up and handled all the furniture delicately. But they were also fast and efficient. We had to move from a third floor loft, the equivalent to a three bedroom home, where the elevator was broken! To say, I was anxious, doesn't begin to describe it. However, this team from Einstein Brothers was great! They were great communicators, they were efficient, careful with my furniture, very polite and friendly, but still professional. They made a very difficult move about as stress-free, as I could hope for! Jonathan, Destin, Miguel, Mikaeil, and Cameron were the best movers! This was my sixth move in 20 years and I can say without a doubt THESE WERE THE BEST MOVERS!. NOTHING WAS DAMAGED OR BROKEN IN THIS DIFFICULT MOVE! They came to me twice to share that they thought they had broken something. But, this only shows their honesty and reliability because those two pieces of furniture were broken before the move. Lastly, what I had to pay for this move was nowhere near what other companies had quoted. The hourly rate was competitive with other movers, but I fully anticipated an additional fee for having to walk the stairs, but there wasn't any! In 2021 I rented a large UHaul trailer and took the option to hire a 2-man moving crew during checkout. I don't remember the subcontractor, it was a woman owned business which I was happy to support. When they showed up, one of the guys (a Caribbean man in his 30s) was being sleazy-flirty-jokey with me and my sister and the other guy was moving slowly and not talking. They did the work, then drove off in a hurry in an older white panel van. A few weeks later I realized several boxes and expensive items did not make it into the storage unit. Those guys definitely stole that stuff. Filled their van with my valuables and bolted - AFTER I had tipped them VERY generously. Most of my stuff was OK so I guess it could have been worse, but it felt awful to be duped like that. I had foolishly assumed UHaul would properly vet their subs so as not to tarnish their brand. NOPE. NEVER AGAIN, UHAUL. TL;DR: Don't get ripped off by shady movers. Hire Einstein instead! read more

I've used this company twice. The first time was great. The second time was not. I have wobbly shelves and furniture now. One of the movers broke my desk after dragging it. They broke a chair and didn't say anything. My furniture has scratches. They warped my couch by shoving it through a door frame (they didn't take the feet off). Since only two things are broken, I can only claim a few hundred dollars of damage. But in reality, they did thousands of dollars of in damages that can't be claimed. One of the movers was disrespectful to my wife and I in our home. He mishandled our furniture and wouldn't listen to basic instructions. When he broke my desk, (and get this, he blamed me), I called Einstein to have him replaced. He wasn't replaced. He was in the truck by himself, and I suspect that he damaged our furniture on purpose. Einstein says that he gets a lot of five star ratings. Maybe those ratings went to his head. When the move was over, I filed a claim, and a manager supposedly filed it in front of me on his tablet. 4 weeks later, nothing. I filed another claim online. Think twice before using this company. The price is great. They need quality control with their staff. read more

There was a tree limb blocking the best street parking in front of our building, but they worked together to find a good spot to load up. What a fantastic experience! My girlfriend and I recently moved into our new home and used Einstein because of the epic reviews...and very competitive pricing. The first consultation by phone was easy and the very definition of professional. They asked whether there were any specific pieces (i e antiques) that needed special care, etc. As someone with an antique chest, I appreciated this thorough touch. We ended up with a three-stop move before our final destination. It went flawlessly. Our movers, Franklin and Richard, we're right on time, and really moved! They worked quickly and efficiently...there was absolutely no "dragging ass" or padding time. They were there to get us moved and didn't stop until we were. The movers were efficient, and extremely polite, even at the end of the move when they were dog-tired: I moved from a 2nd floor apartment to a two-story house with two flights of stairs leading up to the door. They took very good care of every piece of my property, like it was their own. I've moved a number of times over the years and this is, by far, the best company I've encountered, and that includes the big-name moving companies. If I can offer constructive criticism: In the initial email to customers, you may want to inform them that mattress wrapping is something that has to be requested in advance. We used Einstein to pack and move us from San Antonio to Floresville. The day they packed, 2 people worked slowly until 4:00. At 4:30 many things were not packed but they said the next day they'd have more people and they'd finish packing and move us. The next day it quickly went down hill. They said they didn't have blankets to wrap pictures and started putting fragile items in big gondola boxes. The lead guy complained "there was too much stuff" and left pictures, shoes, etc....behind saying they needed to get to the other house to unload. I've never had such a bad experience and been treated so rudely. We've moved 6 times and when you hire someone to pack you, they do. Einstein left whole drawers full of stuff. They were not prepared to do the job. We had a 2100 sq. ft house. We didn't require them to pack the garage or one of the bedrooms. If they want to be in business, expect people to have stuff!! Come look before you move, but don't be rude to your customers. Don't treat their things disrespectfully. --------Edited to add one star. After this feedback, Paul reached out to us. In looking for some movers to move from San Antonio to Austin, Texas, I called Einstein moving company and received a quote. I decided to go ahead and book them. I wanna say this is the first time I've ever used this company. The moving people were very prompt in arriving on time and came in and looked over all the items that needed to be packed and got a right to work. They had the truck full and on their way to Austin. They even made sure to pad the doors when moving. They arrived in Austin way under the time expected and once here they got right to work and unloaded.
