Dentist? Is nice. Probably he has no idea that he had hired the worst "manager" called Martha upfront. Does she hate her life? She's so negative about everything.. doesn't do her job right. I have been waiting two months for a root canal request authorization and I even called my insurance they said it wasn't sent and I waited two weeks and I call this grumpy lady Martha and she says she hasn't heard back from insurance when I had just spoken to insurance and they said it was approved 6-21. Today is July 5th. If dentist does not call back or this does not get resolved by Friday July 7th I'm reporting this office to the dental board. Who hires people like this?? The worst. read more

I've been going to Dr. Semrien for almost a year now, it's a smaller family type practice, he and his team Martha and Myrna are amazing at what they do. The facility is very nice, clean and if you have to reschedule your appointment, Martha is always a phone call away to get you on the next available appointment. I am over 70 and have been to many Dentists over the years. This is the best Dentist I have ever experienced.

Best. Dentist. Ever. Not pushy, not painful. Always gentle. Does not hard sell me to complete dental work. HONEST. Tells me if I need to wait to fix a crown, that's okay. No rush. I've encountered so many pushy dental providers, quoting me outrageous prices and telling me it must be done immediately. His prices are reasonable, he is understanding and kind. Front desk office manager is always pleasant and helpful, working around my schedule and understanding if I need to wait for my health spending $$ to kick in. I highly recommend this dental office. I'm new to the area so I asked around for a good dentist and was referred to Dr. Ziad. I went in for pain, I expected to have a cavity because the last dentist told me that I did a while back. Well Dr Ziad had some X-rays done for me and checked everything and told me that there was no cavity, and the underlying problem was most likely caused by grinding my teeth. I always had problems with the rudeness of the clerical person (Martha) in the front. She never smiles and she always reply to you curtly with rudeness in her demeanor. She is not helpful at all and she always finds the dark side of an issue. In spite of that, Dr Ziad, the owner, is an excellent doctor and one of our fellow members of the Islamic community. He has no patience for children were treated horribly told me that my grandson wouldn't keep still when he uses the 70s clamp around the teeth to put a filling in. Haven't seen that since the 70s. He gave my grandson a shot in the mouth and eight minutes later he came back wanted to start on his tooth before the shot took affect. They gave him another shot came back five minutes later and started on his tooth and he told him he could still feel it and he didn't give him time for the shot to take affect. He acted like a big baby because my grandson was grabbing the arms of the chair and squeezing because it was hurting his mouth. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody. read more

Dr. Semrian is awesome and Martha (the receptionist) is friendly, kind, and courteous. The others are great too, I just cannot remember their names. My last dentist was good too but I couldn't help feeling like I was paying too much and indeed, as I found out later, I was. See, what some dentists do not tell you is that they are not contracted with you insurance company. I asked (my old Dentist) do you accept ABC insurance, "yes we do" was their response. Well, yes they did but they were not in network so it ended up costing me a lot more, for example, getting a crown was twice as much! And the insurance only went up to $1,000 per year instead of $1,500. They know this but they do not tell you. I found Dr. Semrian on our insurance website and he has been nothing short of great! read more

The clerical woman in the front was extremely rude. I asked for the doctor and she came for some reason asking if I had questions and having a condescending tone. Told me the doctor wouldn't be able to show me my xray unless I could "read xray". Waited for him and he explained just fine. Then refused to send a copy of my xray. No option to pay fee to forward to physician or anything. Doctor himself was good and other staff were kind. Face of the office though, through that woman, could use major work. read more

I had 4 fillings done at one time and they made it painless. The Dentist and assistant were very friendly. I go back in a couple of weeks to refill a couple of old fillings. The only neg thing is they didn't rinse my mouth out well and give me mouthwash and any instructions. read more

My first visit here was amazing! They told me the problems I had after X-Rays, and they were very understanding and careful with my sensitivity pain level, during my cleaning. Luckily the issues were minor, and they even told me how I have good teeth despite it all :P I loved how they explained everything to me in detail and how thorough they were with answering all my questions. With confidence I can say that I have faith in their knowledge and professionalism and I look forward to the near future visits that I have with Dr. Semrien and his assistant. read more

The only reason its not full 5 stars is sometimes the wait time is a little long. Ive been to this dentist about 4-5 times now and couple times I have to wait like 30 min past appointment time. I never had to wait as long as an hour like the other review here says, but for me longer than 15 min is a long time. Other than that I really like this Dentist. I hate going to dentist because of pain but he does things to make it less painful for example just the shot in the mouth usually hurts for me but when he first gave me the Novocain shot it didn't hurt and I mentioned that it didn't hurt with him and he said he used a smaller needle. Also he was drilling a very painful tooth and was having trouble with me having to make him stop every few seconds so he gave me a stronger dose of Novocain and was able to repair the tooth without pain. He seems to make an effort to make the procedure as comfortable as possible and that's important to me. Ive had other dentist who don't care and just make you bear the pain. This dentist office is very clean and the staff are friendly. I'm very happy with the quality of work he does. I should of had a root canal on one tooth but couldn't afford it and he was able to do a deep filling instead and still saved the tooth. I highly recommend this dentist. read more

Great Dr. and staff! This Dr. is perfect for people who are scared of going to the dentist and who are sensitive to getting shots. His shots do not hurt! My kids have Autism and he sits through exams and even getting cavities filled and he does not have to have sedation. My son is nonverbal but he seems to be calm because the staff are very nice and patient with showing him what to do. My daughter had wisdom teeth taken out and her friends were so surprised that she recovered so quickly. My daughter reported that she had no pain and that she only felt tightness in her jaw for the first day. The Dr. takes his time and is not too aggressive which I believe reduces the trauma. read more
