This is one job I would never attempt, since you have to climb up high on ladders and work on top of roofs. The backside of my house is like a 2 story home because it is built on a hillside. After vetting all 3 companies, I chose FCR -- primarily because their bid was far lower than the other 2. Marcelino and his main guy Edwin did a truly fantastic job on my roof. The demo went smoothly, the new beams were perfect, and they didn't break a single tile. Edwin worked in the hot sun for 2 days like a madman -- couldn't believe it. He got everything right. They cleaned up well too. Here's the kicker. I had a trim piece in bad shape and they came back AFTER they finished and brought me a new piece they configured to fit. They didn't even tell me they were going to do it. And they installed it. No charge! Sometimes the low bid can greatly exceed expectations -- I'm grateful to the guys and happy to recommend them to everyone.

Well after 4+ hours, that never happened. He just continued to string me along. Based on a lot of the one-star yelp reviews I read....Somehow, I have the funny feeling that he's had a lot of relatives pass away and have to be delivered down to Mexico.
