I am sorry but I paid $25 for 2 sandwiches and they wete tiny!! What are you thinking?! 12.95 for the tiny sandwich and a tiny bag of chips! Not even using artisan ingredients like fresh bread (its pepperidge farm! I feel so ripped off. Never again! Look at my pic from years ago compared to now. WHAT A RIP OFF- Im so angry

Ekonk Hill is at the top of the hill with beautiful views of the rolling fields. The farm is family owned and recently expanded when adjacent land became available. Fresh turkeys are available for Thanksgiving and should be preordered to be sure that you will get one. They also sell beef, chicken, lamb, pork, ice cream, yogurt and eggs. The meats and eggs are high quality food and the turkey pies are delicious. The animals seem very happy as they are raised with care. Highly recommended CT grown and local.

Delicious farm made ice cream, and an amazing place to stop for a fresh made turkey sandwich. Fresh produce, meats and dairy products. An amazing selection of gifts. And one of my favorite stops to pick up a special treat for my dog!!

I simply love riding through the back roads of rural America on a sunny day and stumbling upon these roadside gems. Ekonk's Hill Turkey Farm is a family owned and operated business on a gorgeous country road (rte. 49) in Moosup, CT. Sprawling farms and winding roads lead you to this unassuming country store. There is a small lot outside the main building which sits between the owner's residence and a chicken pen. There are turkeys, chickens and roosters greeting you as you arrive. They have a very good selection of sandwiches, muffins, ice cream, pies and just about everything that you would expect in a country store--EXCEPT, Everything is homemade. Being that is was a turkey farm,I had the Thanksgiving Sandwich-AWESOME! Worth going out of your way to find!

Great ice cream and service, they are always so friendly! Love how they host local artists. They also have the animals outside for the kids.

Excellent ice cream. Silky smooth and not to sweet. Perfect place to plan in a stop at when riding around in eastern ct.

The Thanksgiving sandwich was great, and I also loved the brownie and apple cider donut.

Every visit is a reminder of how vibrant and talented our local community is. The market may be modest in size, but the quality, variety, and friendliness are absolutely top‑tier. The vendors consistently bring fresh, seasonal produce that tastes like it was picked that morning--crisp greens, gorgeous tomatoes, berries bursting with flavor, and so much more depending on the time of year. You can truly taste the difference. Beyond produce, the market is full of local makers, bakers, and growers offering everything from fresh bread and pastries to artisanal cheeses, honey, jams, and handcrafted goods. There's always something new to discover, and everything feels thoughtfully curated. The atmosphere is one of the best parts: warm, welcoming, and community‑driven. Vendors are happy to chat, share tips, or tell you the story behind what they grow or make. It's the kind of market where you run into neighbors, linger a little longer than planned, and leave with both great food and a great mood. It gets pretty darn crowded, so if you can, try to come around 2pm or closer to the end of the day to beat the scads of Lilly Pulitzer clad housewives, patchouli scented hipsters, and miscellaneous dog owners who frequent this pop-up marketplace. Parking is an absolute NIGHTMARE, so do everything you can to come by foot. Literally. The street is so narrow. You will not find a space. Do not even try. There's a good range of vendors, who sell everything from fresh fruits and vegetables (try some raspberries!) to prepared foods (curried chicken lettuce wraps at the Boru Noodle Bar stand are AMAZING), and even some non-food stands, like one that sells homemade essential oils and body glitter. My top picks are the Tricycle Ice Cream cart (so cute and Instagram friendly! Try the strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich!), June Love's English Bakery (the titular Mrs. Love is the fabulous British dessert making grandma we didn't know we all needed), and the aforementioned Boru Noodle Bar stand, which is new to the Market, but soon to give the perennial "popular kid" Tallulah's Tacos a run for their money! Head to the Aquidneck Grower's Market before the summer's over - you'll be so glad you did! And get me a strawberry shortcake ice cream sandwich, will you?!
