I work at a store A block away from food truck and they have online ordering which is awesome because I can order in advance and it's ready to pick up on my break happens. Unfortunately today when I get to the truck despite ordering a whole hour in advance, they hadn't even started my order yet so I had to wait 5 more minutes which doesn't seem like long. But when you've only got a 45-minute break and you've got to walk to and from the truck and then back to the break area, every minute counts. When people offer this kind of online ordering that they actually make sure the food is ready by the time of the order pickup, especially given that it was ordered an entire hour in advance. Now I don't know if next time I should order for an earlier pickup and show up later and hope that it's ready, but then the food might be cold. Just to let the workers know, please make sure your online orders are already on time because there's a reason people order like that So we don't have to waste our break waiting for them to make the food or run late for something else because we're waiting read more

El Alambre #2 is an unassuming food truck in front of the Foods Co on 14th. There are two small tables with two seats each in front of the truck. One can also do their grocery shopping at the Foods Co and grab lunch from El Alambre. I highly recommend you try the quesabirria and consome combo. I truly believe it's the most tastiest quesabirria and consome in the state, if not, the country. The service is also fantastic. No complaints there. Very tasty! We went to Food Co for shopping and this taco truck is always parked outside. We ordered the quesa birria tacos. It comes with consommé. We had to eat it when we got home, so it was a little cold, but if you pop them in the air fryer it's good as new. There was also some beef in the consommé as well, which was nice to see. I tried there Al Pastor tacos and I can say that these are one of the worse tacos that I have had. It was simply pork meat with no flavor. The tortilla was too hard and they ran out of green sauce. I tried their red sauce and it was super watery and flavorless. It tasted like Tajin with water. I also tried there Carne Asada tacos and they were not the best. The meat again had no flavor.
