This is the second year in a row that California Kahve has popped up at our school for Teacher Appreciation Week. My first time having their matcha was at last year's event and now I love taking visitors and friends to this pop up location at Tunnel Tops. The lavender mint matcha is always my go to and this time I also tried the rose matcha... both are 10/10. I don't drink coffee but all my coworkers agreed that this is a premium product. What really sets this small business apart is the warmth and care of the owner. I'm so happy to see her small business thriving and we chatted for a few minutes about her permanent location at Koret Children's Playground/ Carousel in Golden Gate Park. Super grateful to our PGA and California Kahve for making our Teacher appreciation so special!
The cutest little coffee truck! And so perfectly situated in the Presidio where you can have your coffee while basking in the scenic landscape and overlooks. The menu has both classic espresso drinks and some seasonal features. I tried the honeycomb honey latte, which was silky smooth. Despite the line and one person handling the espresso bar our drinks came out in reasonably good time. So happy to have stumbled across this little gem!
I stopped by California Kahve while walking through the Presidio. The food truck setup is genuinely charming, and there was a long line, which made it feel like a must-try. Between the location and the aesthetic, I was excited to see what the hype was about. My friend and I ordered the turmeric golden latte and the butterfly pea latte from the "botanical + herbal" section. Both drinks looked beautiful, but they tasted surprisingly thin and pretty flavorless. There wasn't much depth or richness, and we were confused because we expected a latte-style drink to include espresso. After asking the barista, we learned that the botanical + herbal drinks don't come with coffee or espresso at all. That wasn't clearly indicated, and the word "latte" definitely led us to assume otherwise. To their credit, the barista was kind and offered to add an espresso shot to my drink once I mentioned the confusion. After the addition, it tasted significantly better and finally had some body. I just don't understand why that wouldn't be the default or at least clearly labeled on the menu. The concept and setting are appealing, but the experience itself felt underwhelming.
I ordered the dark chocolate orange mocha which is one of their seasonal drinks and costs $5.75 before tip. It was done within 2 mins. I could taste orange initially, but not as much later on. I particularly wish the chocolate flavor was significantly stronger although I could still make out the rich savory quality of chocolate, and I think the orange could've been a little more prominent as well. Overall I thought the drink was decent but is rather pricy for the small size.
Love running into (literally since it's often parked in GGP) California Kahve! Their standard and seasonal menu is always delicious. I tried the pumpkin spice latte (this was a fave) in October and just had their December special, peppermint mocha. Highly recommend if you see them at a local event or in GGP - they also sell delicious Dynamo donuts, but they sell out fast!

Came here on a sunny day after visiting the Golden Gate Bridge and it is located on the presidio in the pop up area. It's a super cute area that has some picnic tables and a grassy area where you can have a picnic. I ordered the wildflower honey latte and it tasted good but just tasted like sweet milk with a hint of coffee. The Coffee flavor isn't as strong as I like. My friend ordered the butterfly pea latte and it also just tasted like sweet milk. The baristas are nice and service was quick. Parking is $3/hr and has plenty of space for dogs to run around.

I got one of their seasonal speciality drinks: wildflower honey latte. The latte is decent! The espresso flavor is strong which I like. The wildflower honey flavor is a bit lacking. The latte is on the small size for the price it's at. They have other specialty drinks that I would try next time -- like the lavender mint matcha sounds quite good. Vibes: 4/5. The coffee truck is so cute!! The wait was a bit long but manageable. The staff there were very nice!
Stopped for a quick coffee break while riding our bikes and enjoying the sunny day. Hubs went with the Dark Chocolate Orange Mocha and I decided on the Wildflower Honey Latte. They were out of ice during our visit, so only hot drinks. Appreciate the few tables and chairs they have set up so we could take a breather. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate and orange, but I must say I really liked the orange mocha . . . More so than the honey latte. Also liked that there was fresh orange zest. I'd order that one again.

Wow we really tracked down this coffee truck for a good 15 minutes online in order to find them in golden gate back above the tunnel. Make sure to check out their Instagram for their latest locations! After finding this cute truck in Golden gate park we were excited to finally get our fix of caffeine. We ordered a wildflower coffee, cold mint matcha, and for good measure we grabbed a chocolate cookie The wildflower latte left me wanting more caffeine although it had a pleasant taste. However the matcha didn't resonate with us... we're not sure if the watery taste was due to us adding oat milk but we found the flavor to not be as bold and flavorful as iced matchas were used to. The cookie was a highlight it was a cakey batter with what we identified as corn flakes mixed in. It was definitely a unique bite as initially the corn flakes are crispy but turn a bit chewy as it lingers.
If you like your coffee strong and bitter, you'll like this coffee truck! Located in Presidio this is a great addition to a day out -- espresso drinks and non caffeinated ones as well, and they carry some pastries too. Although we didn't get any end of day, they were sold out. Also, expect a queue! Cappuccino was strong, Mocha was delicious and not over sweet. I'll definitely come back whenever I revisit Presidio. read more
Such a cute coffee truck that's parked at the Presidio! I love going to the California Khave coffee stand in Golden Gate Park and was excited to stumble upon their little coffee truck. I got the signature dark chocolate orange mocha which is one of my favorites when I'm looking for something a bit sweeter and at half sweet, it's the perfect mid morning pick me up. Love the fresh orange zest they add on top and the chocolate is just enough to balance out the espresso. It's such a yummy rich latte! read more

The cuuuutest mobile coffee shop! Saw this lil shop floating around insta and immediately wanted to try. Their insta provides updates on their location! We picked up an orange latte and a cornflake cookie. Flavors were interesting, balanced and bright! The woman serving us was so sweet - she made sure to choose a large cookie for us because she noticed three in our party would be sharing. Come have some bomb coffee and support a local business! read more

Upon first sight of this mobile coffee shop, I knew it was a vibe. They have a great unique selection of teas and coffees, that comes out quickly and tastes refreshing! I really like their packaging as well, as it is compostable and looks cool. I got the Jade Cloud tea that was really light and not overpriced by any means! Would totally go again! read more
The California Kahve truck can be found situated parked just before the Conservatory of Flowers. I stopped by on a Saturday morning. I opted for a matcha latte, which may not have been the wisest choice on a hot summer Saturday morning. The cup was smaller than I thought it would be, but it satisfied my caffeine needs. The drink was ready in minutes and I sipped on the matcha latte as I strolled through Golden Gate Park. It's nice the there are a few tables and chairs for people to sit for a moment. read more

Love this little coffee stand in the middle of Golden Gate Park! Creative options and friendly service make this a popular stop for many people strolling along! My sister in law introduced me to this cute little trailer and I was pleased with the coffee I had. They were able to make a not-so-hot chocolate for my nephew as well. Despite his later meltdown, the hot chocolate was a hit and helped calm him down. read more

Suuuuper cute coffee caravan. I visited their location in Stinson beach for a caffeine boost before a walk on the beach and hike in the woods. They have a great variety of unique and specialty coffee and tea options, including drinks like Lavender Mint Matcha and Butterfly Pea Flower latte. I tried the Wildflower Honey Latte and really liked it! It had a nice herbal flavor with just a touch of sweetness. They also have an assortment of pastries and donuts. I'm so glad I stumbled across this spot! You can see it from the road as you drive into Stinson Beach. Stinson beach is a great little town but is pretty small with limited food and coffee options. Love the addition of California Kahve to this neighborhood. read more

This adorable little van is serving up delicious, high quality coffee, matcha, and tea--and has a prime location being parked near the Great Highway (between Golden Gate Park & Ocean Beach). We tried the Lavender Mint Matcha and Wildflower Honey Latte which were both very tasty. If you are hungry they do serve donuts, although we didn't try those. Will definitely be back for the friendly service & great drinks!! read more

This is one of my favorite cafes in the sunset, and maybe in the city. They're located in a little nook at the west end of MLK Jr Drive, right next to Murphy windmill and before you get to ocean beach. They started with an awesome caravan, then moved to a truck, but the caravan is coming back! Their coffee list has everything from delicious coffee and lattes, to some really creative drinks such as elderflower matchas, mushroom chai lattes, and tons of other stuff I can't wait to try. Pro tip: the elderflower matcha latte with oat milk and a donut will make your day The owner Molly and her team are are amazing as well, always stopping for a minute to ask how things are going, thoughts about new drinks they're trying, etc, even when they're busy. A lovely business run by lovely people. What more can you ask? See you there next weekend! read more

I've noticed their truck parked in the lot by the beach before, and conveniently bumped into it parked on the closed Great Highway and Taraval this past weekend. I loved the orange mocha. It was rich and dense with chocolate, and had bits of orange zest which added a nice freshness. They also have a lavender espresso drink which I would consider trying too. read more

I found California Kahve at the North Beach Farmer's market and could not resist stopping by. I ordered an Iced Butterfly Pea Flower Latte and really enjoyed it. I was enticed by the blue color, though in taste, it is like a mildly sweet lavender milk. I got to try the mocha for and enjoyed that too! I'm sure other items from their menu would be just as good. I'm personally excited for the next time I get to visit California Kahve. read more

While visiting north beach farmers market, had a chance to stop by her booth for coffee and donut. Got the special dark chocolate with Orange mocha and chocolate~vanilla donut. The mocha was amazing, would really want to try her herbal latte next time. Donut was out of the world, the texture, flavor and taste just hit the right spot. Highly recommend! Support small businesses. read more
