The food was good and the service was great. Its not best Mexican food I have not but I am from California. But the food was still good and better than others I had in the area.

Tamales were decent and the drinks were alright hard to mess up a margarita and beer but the rest of the food was horrible. For a Mexican place there was no flavor to the food. The queso with ground beef tastes like cat food. The "salsa" tasted like tomato sauce. Fresh jalapeños tasted like bell peppers. Service was good and prices were decent. Definitely not the best Mexican place I have e ever been to. I was excited but was disappointed.

Amazing food and service. Super fresh!! Will come here again. Meat was tender, tortillas were fresh as well. Overall excellent experience, hidden gem.

We stopped here during our drive from Texas to Memphis, TN. We were looking for a place to stop for dinner and decided on El Amigo Feliz based on reviews. The reviews did not disappoint! My husband had the carne asada tacos and I had a steak grande burrito (thank goodness I didn't go with the super burrito!).

Food is fantastic, service fast and friendly. So far I've had the enchilada plate, Taco salad, and crispy tacos. Everything was great. Not bland and not too spicy. Gringo perfect. Wash it down with a Mexican Coke and you'll be good.

The service was wonderful! The food was hot and delicious! I had Polo Loco and it was fresh and hot (spicy too)! The restaurant was authentic and had some wear and tear but very clean. The restaurant also goes by another name "Restaurante Mexicano" when you look it up on the web.

Great service, delicious food and the cutest carved table and chairs. Waitstaff was very attentive, kept our clearings filled and served the chips and salsa immediately upon sitting. We were passing through and saw this place and are glad we stopped.

Steak Fundido. More than just Steak with onions and mushrooms smothered in cheese sauce. The flavor is so good.

Anytime I am on 40 headed past Hazen, AR I try and stop here. Love the food. I drive a semi and it's one of my favorite spots.

Great spot on our way out west. Food was good, standard Mexican. A little slow but it was Memorial Day weekend to be fair.

My tacos were cold. No flavor either. Wasn't 100% thrilled with my experience. Surprised cause they were very busy.

Among the McDonalds, Taco Bells, and Subways, we opted to stop here. We are both so glad we did and we both cleaned our plates. The food was hot and delicious. And the service was attentive and friendly. We both ordered quesadillas -- steak for me and chicken for her. The salsa was pretty good as was the chips albeit a little on the stale side, but not too bad. The decor inside the restaurant was very typical of other Mexican grills -- bright, Mexican decor with music playing over the speakers. However, the music was not loud and you could have a conversation with others without having to yell. We will be traveling through this area again in a few weeks and will definitely stop again for lunch or dinner.

I had a chicken quesadilla- tender and juicy with wonderful spices. My husband's Asada plate was also very generous and delicious. We are just traveling through and are glad we stopped here. One more menu item to mention... great margaritas. The ambience was traditional and welcoming. The service was friendly and accommodating.

I ordered enchiladas with red sauce, rice and beans. They use ground beef in their enchiladas and I despise that. So I asked them If they could use birria meat instead and just charge me accordingly. They obliged. When I received my food I felt like it was a joke. Like my 10 year old went in the kitchen and tried to cook me enchiladas, and that was her masterpiece. Actually no it was actually created from the cooks at this place. The place looks like a dump from the outside but inside is quite nice. It was really pretty and the music was just right. The guy who took my order didnt speak English so I talked to him in Spanish but if you don't speak Spanish the guy running the register speaks great English. Speaking of this guy! When I tried to swap the plate of enchiladas, sorry let me rephrase that. When I tried to swap the birria wrapped in corn tortillas with salsa (the exact same salsa they serve the chips with before the meal) poured on top. It was insulting. The server then told me I had to pay for the enchiladas even though I was ordering tacos. I said no way. He gave me the check and sent me to the English speaking manager at the front. The manager said somebody is going to have to pay for it. I told him he is ridiculous. I'll pay for my drinks and I'll go eat somewhere else. He kept asking me whois going to pay for it. That if I think it's fair that the server has to pay for it. Did this guy think I was stupid? Did he really think i was going to pay for something of THAT QUALITY? Did he really think I thought he was going to pay for it? I asked for the owners name and contact info and he did not want to give it to me. I said im calling the police. He then said "OK, I'll go ahead and pay the money for the food for you!. I said if that's what you want. Fine. Paid him his drink money, tipped the server and will NEVER come back to this place. I highly advise you to go to the taco bell right in front. This place, Los Pinos is absolute trash. The manager, the quality of food... all of it.
