Yummy food! The place is busy with people in and out, plus pick up orders with great testament to their delicious cuisine. I've been here a couple times and the service is great. This was my first time having desserts (courtesy of the owner!) and I was pleasantly surprised. On this weekend night, they had live music which included a harp player and guitarist! Wonderful ambiance for a great dinner meal.

From the time we walked in the door we felt welcomed! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, though we had a dedicated server, anyone who passed by stopped to see if we were OK. We were there for a Soror's birthday, so we were there for a while, talking and catching up! The food was served quickly, the drinks were delicious, the ambiance was welcoming. We will be back!

Best food I've had in a while. Place is 10/10. Will be back soon. Place was jumping, we did not feel over looked.

My boyfriend and I can never decide where to eat, but Mexican never fails us! He found this 4.5/5 star place just minutes from my house and was shocked I've never been! We parked and he was reluctant. We walked in and were greeted right away and got a table immediately. We sat down, got chips and salsa while we browsed the menu. So many vegetarian options! I decided to get the Enchilada Monterey and my boyfriend got the steak tacos. Omg! The salsa was the best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. We couldn't figure out if it had dairy in it or not (my boyfriend is lactose intolerant), but regardless it was delicious! I ordered my enchiladas and she also assured me that the beans are vegetarian. We love a server who assures me that my whole meal is vegetarian. For real. My boyfriend said his tacos were so good! Unfortunately he started feeling queasy and wasn't able to finish his food. We both ended up taking our leftovers home and indulged at home in our comfort zone. I'm so happy this place is so close to home. I'm definitely going to be making my way back there soon!

Great service from the moment we walked in to when we walked out. The food was very tasty and so were the drinks! We'll definitely be back.

I wasn't feeling up to the big chains and places I wanted to try seemed to close early. Luckily this place was open and I had been wanting to try it for a while. Definitely it let a hidden gem! There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

A Salvadoran Flavor Fiesta Worth the Fork - Even If Your Hands Get Greasy…read more Tucked into an unassuming corner of the city, this Salvadoran gem serves up food with so much soul, I half-expected someone's abuela to walk out of the kitchen and hand me a hug. The menu is unapologetically hearty, flavorful, and honest -- and my tastebuds are still writing thank-you notes. Let's begin with the ceviche -- oh, the ceviche! If you're used to fancy restaurants serving tiny portions of overly acidic seafood in martini glasses, this will feel like a glorious rebellion. The shrimp here were plump and undeniably fresh, with delicate sweetness offset by a mild and tangy citrus marinade that doesn't scream but rather whispers sophistication. Tossed with juicy tomato, slivers of red onion, avocado slices and a dusting of chili, it somehow manages to outshine versions I've had in white-linen establishments. Now, let's talk about the elote asado -- grilled corn that looks like it just came back from a day at the beach. Charred just right, smoky-sweet, and still juicy with a squeeze of lime and a dab of salt or hot sauce -- it's summer on a stick. If corn had an Instagram account, this one would break the algorithm. Moving to the pupusa, a Salvadoran national treasure, this one came with a nutty corn masa base and just the right amount of molten cheese inside -- not too salty, not too shy. Crisped edges gave it an addictive texture contrast, and the accompanying curtido (pickled cabbage slaw) offered a zingy crunch that balanced the richness beautifully. You'll want more than one -- consider yourself warned. As for the chicken wings, well... Unfortunately, leaned more on the oily-side than golden-brown perfection. While not inedible, they lacked the finesse seen in the other dishes. Still, in a setting this relaxed, a slightly greasy wing feels more like a character quirk than a crime. And finally, let's not ignore the papas fritas smothered in ketchup, crema, and crumbly cheese. This wild plate felt like Salvadoran street food on vacation in the Midwest. Messy? Yes. Over-the-top? Absolutely. But sometimes, indulgence is the point -- and if you're brave enough to dive in with a fork (or fingers), you'll find it strangely satisfying.
