Third time eating from here, and I can confidently and reluctantly share this spot lol. My husband is from El Salvador, and the food is authentic, the tortillas are so good, and the service is friendly. Today I finally had some tacos; I'd held back before because it's my go-to and I wanted to try other things first. The pictures don't do it justice. It's a simple yet flavorful dish; the meat is well done, and the sauces are delicious. I would say if you are not used to handmade tortillas, opt for the traditional corn tortillas, as the handmade ones are thicker, yet they soak the sauces much better; if you feel adventurous, try one, plus taco carbs don't count lol During the winter, they have added hot chocolate packets to the condiment counter. read more

This restaurant is off the beaten path but thanks to Yelp I found my way here. When i arrived they were cooking the pork which looked delicious. When I asked how I could have some the cashier mentioned quesadilias, tacos and burritos. I want to fully taste the flavor of the meat so I ordered the Yucatan con chicjarrón. The service was warm a d friendly. On the end, I didn't love my food. I would definitely gone them another chance and try something different. They do not have a printed menu so pack your patience. Been my go to place for lunch every Tuesday and Friday for the last 7 years. Staff are always super polite. Food is generally great. Tacos and fajitas are my go to here. The Quesadilla is also very good. The red hotsauce is . Cheaper and more filling than Taco Bell for sure. read more

Finally came to Sabor Latino of Beltsville. It's a small restaurant serving homemade Latino food that is affordable and tasty. I paid 9.99 for the Yuca con chicharrones. I only ate half the food because it was a large portion. It was definitely tasty. I also ordered a horchata that was also refreshing. This spot is totally off the beaten path. When you're on Powder Mill, there's a side road you can turn on, and it's pretty industrial -- and El Sabor Latino is just there! They have a shelf with snacks and a menu above the counter to order -- though no prices are listed. They do mostly speak Spanish there, but they can definitely speak English if you're truly rusty. I personally love an excuse to practice! I decided to order a baleada and pupusas and they took abotu 10-15 minutes. I made a Costco run while waiting, and when I returned, they were ready. I ate them when I got home, and they were fantastic! I'm just getting into baleadas, and they're truly one of my favorite Latin breakfast foods. If you've never had one, it's kinda like a Honduran (by origin) breakfast quesadilla. And the pupusas... just, yes. I had a loroco and frijole one. The cabbage was on point, as was the sauce. Mom and I stopped by for a quick breakfast. Dog was with us, so we wanted to eat in their cute patio, but it was a little too chilly. Mom got a Typico 3 and I got a 5. Both delicious! I happened to be at my second home, Home Depot, and I noticed a food truck at the edge of the parking lot. I don't normally do food trucks but the menu on the side of the truck looked interesting. I ordered the chicken burrito. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised. For starters, it was huge; stuffed with chicken, rice, and beans. I could taste fresh cilanto and pico-de-gallo. Awesome meal. I love the food here! It's a pretty much a hole in the wall place which I have just discovered even though I live close by. The food is great. Definitely try the enchiladas Salvadorenas. I have had the pupusas,tacos, enchiladas and the baleadas. The food is delicious and very filling. Parking is very spacious however the inside of the restaurant is not so much. It has 3-4 tables but not so much for big parties of people. This has become one of my favorite Salvadoran places to get food from. read more

Very tasty. Food truck near Hone Depot has random hours and didn't answer the phone. Restaurant in Beltsville is modest, simple but tasty.
