The food was okay, but it was not as good as it used to be. The biggest problem was the service. It felt like the employee was more interested in chatting than making sure customers received their change and their complete order. The host and server does not miss an opportunity to make sure to check up on you and provide water, or whatever beverage you're drinking. They're very sweet and run a pretty efficient shop. The bathroom is also clean. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept, so you can see the cooks in the back, preparing the dishes, including mashing up the plantains to make the trifongo.
