Went here back in May and was super disappointed. I had just came back from PR a week prior and wanted to check this place since we are never in Vegas. We ordered pernil, it was old and the meat was hard and very very dark, the beans lacked flavor and watery. We also ordered bacalaito, they were frozen not fresh, one side crispy other side soft. The rellenos de papa were decent. Service was great though.

    So good!

My friend invited me to the is place and I can't wait to go back. The waitress was very attentive and the food was so delicious! This is the first Puerto Rican food that I loved since eating it in New York!

The Alcapurrias were burned and the pernil was salty. I am willing to go back and give this restaurant another chance.

Went here for the first time on Monday after seeing so much post about this place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Must try the specialty sauce:Vinegar & habanero! We had all these in the pictures I'm posting. Really wanted to try mofongo but they didn't have the main ingredient to serve it. It was pretty packed the whole time we sat to dine in. Clean restaurant and their choice and prices are decent. Make sure to read the menu good as if u order sides with an entree it's cheaper. We will make it back here when in the area for this delicious Puerto Rican food. P.S They also serve beer

    Sofrito Rico Las Vegas

Had some real good Puerto Rican in Las Vegas. The quaint lil restaurant-Sofrito Rico was totally definitely Rico - ( Delicious in Spanish). The vibe was intimate and though they only served wine and beer (I don't consume either) It was a great meal and time. The salad was delish and the food was so good we didn't even think of taking pics. We dug right in. The service was good - very attentive and tended to us immediately upon arrival. If in vegas craving Puerto Rican food I definitely recommend!

I asked for pernil arroz con gandules and forgot the pernil had to pay for missing items

, I had my food to go and of course something was missing, I like this place but not so much the service, the food was sitting up there for 5 minutes and the staff was just sitting around

    Chicken empanada and beef empanada

Fabulous! Me and a friend stopped by and had a wonderful lunch. We started with the cola champagne and a sweet tea. That cola champagne is really good! We tried a beef and a chicken empanada. Both were delicious and I do recommend. My friend had the steak sandwich with mofongo and fried plantains. She enjoyed it very much. I had the stewed chicken with mofongo and ensalada de papa. Everything was fantastic! The service was prompt and polite. I like the decor of the restaurant too.

Delicious!! I loved. A very authentic flavor. Exactly the way I was taught to make the rice and mofongo.

Rice bowl. Cold rice and overcooked and dry meat. And plantains.

This was my first time ordering food here. I ordered online for pickup. The service was good, my order was ready and nicely packed for pickup. But the food was disappointing. I ordered the rice bowl with the grilled chicken, puerto rican rice and plantains. The food was tasty but I would have enjoyed it better if the rice would be served warm and not cold and the meat over cooked and dry. I might try again but I am not sure when I will come back. With my experience, it doesn't seem like I want to come back so soon.

I am Puertorican and I know my boriqua food, this place met my expectations and then some. The beans could be eaten alone. Pork chops were so delicious. All The food was great and our waitress was superb!!!!! When I come back to Vegas I will surely come back.

First time here. Recommended by a friend. WOW! WOW! WOW! Authentic Puerto Rican food - absolutely delicious! Edalia was our server and very patient explaining just about everything on the menu to us. Ambiance is upbeat - every table was taken at 2:30pm on this Saturday afternoon. Highly recommend!

Very good and authentic puerto rican food, very similar to cuban food! We ordered the Churasco (a must!) it left us wanting more and it was so filling! oh myyyy i will be back here for that Churasco! Also the empanadas are honestly the best empanadas i've had so far, the pizza one was so unique and so cheesy! Yumm definitely a must try too!!! Everything was very good, however our server didn't keep up with our drinks and wasn't very attentive but other than that i will definitely be back! Hope our server will be more on top of his service next time

The service was excellent. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable about the food. They make thoughtful suggestions and are incredibly accommodating. We were celebrating my birthday and had over-indulged a little bit with our earlier plates so didn't have any room for one of the delightful looking deserts. Our server brought out two small chocolate cones that were exactly right for the moment. But the food. The food is incredible. Everything we tried was about the best version of that food that we've had. We started with the pan de cristal and jamón Ibérico. The tomato on the crusty, crispy bread was amazing. Just enough acidic zing. I would have eaten that pureed tomato with a spoon. Then we had to Cono de Atún. A perfect 1-2 bites. The crispy cone was perfectly salty. Not pictured, because we started to eat it immediately, is the asparagus with romesco sauce and the grilled octopus. Both had a great char from the grill, both also perfectly tender. The asparagus was zingy and acidic with the romesco. The octopus was glorious. It was truly the best-prepared and best-flavored octopus I've ever had. Amazing.
