This restaurant is a must-stop every time I'm in Vegas. It's the only place where I can get an absolutely delicious crema de queso, and I always make sure to take a couple extra home with me. The lechón was top-notch, the congrí was incredibly flavorful, and we even ordered their Hawaiian pizza to take home--honestly, nothing compares. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable. Out of all the Cuban restaurants in Vegas, this one is hands down #1.

The food was incredible. I ate nonstop while wishing there was another plate. The rice was perfectly cooked alongside soft, tasty Mahi. I enjoyed the black beans too which was seasoned to perfection. The tostones were fresh. The pasteles de coco and guava were excellent. Overall, I am impressed with this restaurant.

I was told they have good Cuban food. Place is located on Eastern and Tropicana in Las Vegas. Place is nice, simply decorated, I would say roomy. Parking ample. My first time here. You had to place your order right after you come in. Menu is displayed to your left as you enter. I had to try and find what I wanted as I felt hurried... I ordered Garlic Shrimp with rice and black beans, and plantain. I had to wait about 15 minutes before my food came out, noticed that people who arrived after me got their orders first... My plate came with the shrimp, rice, plantain, and some salad. The rice was really good and had bits of meat. Plantains we're deliciously sweet. Salad was good accompaniment. The shrimp however, were overcooked and made it tough. Thus the three stars. The garlic butter sauce was good though. I ordered a pineapple soda to wash it down. I noticed that my receipt had a 75 cent charge for using a card... just letting you all know. I will return to try their other dishes but I'll stay away from shrimp dishes... If you try this place, let me know what you think...

As a new residebt of Vegas, I've been checking off a bunch of local restaurants. Habano's is conveniently located off of Tropicana Ave just a few miles from the Strip. You counter order and then find seating, with the food being delivered once it's ready. It is not fast food but is made to order so a wait is usually required. This time I went on a weekday and the restaurant was packed with locals. I had a sandwich, my partner the biotechnology plate with rice. He was okay with the meat cut but really liked the rice. I had an amazing Cuban Sandwich. The bread on the sandwich was amazing. The drinks were a little pricy with a can of soda running $3.15 but there were some great juice options available. There were also some nice postre options. I will definitely return.

A friend of mine had been bragging about how delicious a Cuban pizza is.. so we made our way to his favorite spot, Habanos. Now, the restaurant is easily accessible either through South Eastern or East Tropicana... it is off the corner of the shopping center located at the corner of these streets. The restaurant is pleasantly folkloric and inviting, spacious, big enough to have the whole family over, clean and well kept. The host was friendly, I had never thought there would be a Cuban pizza but she hyped it up for me to try it along with a Malta Goya... here it comes! At glance it was a nice size personal pizza with big slices of pepperoni on it, the cheese was thick (not sure if they have vegan option) and good... not bad of a pizza, similar to a deep dish, but I believe my friend over hyped it haha. The Malta drink has a peculiar taste, quite delicious but really incomparable... you gotta try it for yourself! I will come back because I see the other traditional plates that look great as well and I really want to try those as I am aware of the great seasonings that Cuba has to offer.

We had to come back for the Cuban coffee and a bit of dessert. Heavenly! The folks remembered us from the other night and we were given an enthusiastic greeting! Aww. We ordered a couple of coffees and one dessert. Cuban coffee is tasty and strong! Sip slowly to enjoy or drink fast. If your heart races afterwards drink a lot of water. If you're ever in Vegas you have to come and eat their delicious food and enjoy their warm hospitality. They'll be glad to see you. Enjoy!

Always have to come eat here when I'm in town. Order before you seat and quick service.

I have been to Habanos multiple times, and I keep coming back because the food is great and they always serve large portions! I enjoy the ambiance of the family owned and operated restaurant, and I appreciate the great service. I have even had a chance to meet the owner while at the restaurant. I would recommend trying the Cuban sandwich, croquetas, or the pizza. I was surprised at how good the pizza is. I really like the crust.

We came on a Thursday at 6 PM and apparently the entire city had the same idea. Even with a reservation we waited about 20 minutes, and I overheard multiple walk-ins getting quoted 60-90 minutes. Make the reservation lol. First, the cocktails. I'm admittedly a cocktail snob and not easy to wow, but the strawberry gin cocktail and the passion fruit gin cocktail were both 10/10. My husband is currently busy trying to reverse engineer the recipes that's how much we loved them! The garlic bread was exactly what garlic bread should be: thin, buttery, garlicky, and dangerously easy to inhale. I had the carbonara and I truly couldn't ask for a better version at this price point. Rich, well done, no notes. And shoutout to Marla, who was absolutely hustling through the controlled chaos and still took great care of us.

We had great service from Don who helped us celebrate a friend's 80th birthday there. The garlic bread was great ($1 per person at the table for unlimited bread). I ordered the Alla Nora which was baked spaghetti, meat sauce, fried eggplant pieces, a drizzle of pesto, and parm. I added shrimp to it for an additional $6. It was a very good dish. Another person at our table got the Gorgonzola pasta which he absolutely loved. Another friend ordered a cocktail which she said was strong and delicious. There is an outdoor patio that looked really nice. Would love to come back and try another dish and dine al fresco on a beautiful Las Vegas day.

We started with our usual grilled octopus, which unfortunately was dry, chewy, and lacked the flavor we remembered. The short rib arancini was equally disappointing--it was dry, and the short rib filling was virtually nonexistent. The only highlights of the meal were the bread basket and the short rib agnolotti, both of which were excellent and lived up to our expectations. To make matters worse, the table next to us brought in a small dog. I'm a dog lover and even take my own dog to pet-friendly places, but unless it's a legitimate service animal, I don't believe it belongs in what's meant to be a fine dining experience. This was clearly not a service animal, and it distracted from what was already a disappointing evening. After so many wonderful experiences here over the years, this was the first time we've left truly disappointed. I sincerely hope this was just an off night, because Scarpetta has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Las Vegas.

We ordered a glass of Barolo and the Dante's Infante cocktail. The cocktail was refreshing and strong. My husband wanted to try wine but there werent many options for wines sold by the glass and there was only one option for Baralos so he ordered that. The Baralo was just average for $30 per glass and it was unfortunate that there weren't more options to choose from. We ordered the Polpo ( octopus) appetizer. The flavors were well balanced and the pureed canellini beans paired well with the octopus but the octopus was too cold. Not sure if it was supposed to be served like but I've never had octopus that cold before and the consistency was a bit harder because of the temperature. For our entrees, we ordered the pappardelle with lobster, scallops and truffle. The pasta was perfectly al dente and amazing. There were 2 beautifully cooked and tender scallops. There were a few garnishes of truffle that were shaved thick enough that I was able to chew into the texture. I wish there were larger pieces as the shaved pieces were small sized in diameter. But overall the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. This was far the best dish. We also ordered the Branzino which I wish I hadn't because there was a very wierd flavor profile.. I ordered it thinking it was going to have crispy skin but the skin was very soggy. It seems they changed the method of cooking the branzino as compared to previous photos uploaded by other yelpers. I was a bit disappointed when the branzino came out because the whole fish was butterflied ( sliced in half with tail in tact) and looked like the skin side had at one point been fried but it was soggy and soaked in the sauce. I was not particularly a fan of the sauce. I tasted a strong flavor profile of cinnamon for some reason even though there was no cinnamon mentioned on the menu. Two of the ingredients listed was guanciale and taragon. One of two ingredients may have been the flavors I tasted which did not pair well with the fish. It ruined the natural flavor of the fish as they overpowered the natural flavor of the branzino. Any time I get a chance to order the Branzino, I am usually satisfied or impressed but have never been disappointed. I think my favorite restaurants where I had exceptionally cooked branzinos were on the Vegas strip. At one of restaurants on the strip which I have ordered numerous times and is a very well known restaurant which I will name nameless ...it was cooked similarly, butterflied, in a buttery lemon sauce but the skin was still crispy. A second restaurant on the strip... the branzino was smoked and roasted on charcoal with a tomato based sauce. I guess I can't help but compare because this restaurant is priced similar to two very popular restaurants on the strip but fell short. Our waiter Diego was great and best personality and made our experience memorable. Overall the best dishe was the handmade pasta. The lack of options for wine by the glass was a bit saddening. The cocktail was unique and strong. But I regret getting the branzino. I am not sure I would go back

Our waiter informed us that everything was served family style and meant to be shared, so I found it interesting that they split our order of Spicy Rigatoni Vodka for us. The thick piece of fish on the Salmon Oreganata was beautiful but the salmon itself lacked a bit of seasoning. Dessert did not disappoint either. We ordered the Brookie sundae and the Tiramisu. I couldn't have the Tiramisu but I was told that it was great. The Brookie sundae was a fun dessert. It came with vanilla, pistachio and chocolate gelato, whip and some sort of cake on the bottom. I didn't go all the way down because of my stupid allergy again. The gelatos were all good. It came with a side dish with strawberries and nuts and little chocolate balls. I can't wait to go back again. Next time I'll tell the rest of the table to get their own garlic bread so I don't have to share mine. I'll have dreams about that bread. So heavenly!!!!

I recently visited North Italia and had a great experience. Even though it was busy, we were seated…read morepretty quickly, and the customer service was excellent throughout our visit. Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, Chicken Pesto, and the Pepperoni Pizza with Hot Honey. The Chicken Pesto was a little more lemony than I expected, but I would still order it again because it was very good. The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka had the perfect amount of spice not too spicy, but enough to give it great flavor. The Strozzapreti and White Truffle Garlic Bread were not my personal favorites, but my family really enjoyed both of them. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were great, and I would definitely come back.
