Bushwick isn't feeling the impact of gentrification as yet, but I do recognize the effort. What I'm seeing all over Bushwick are these new restaurants that have great vibes and good food but LACKING in service. EBN is not any different, while the food is good (the quesadilla is really good and so are the burgers) the service is terrible. I sat down with my boyfriend for lunch as we live up the block and he had to walk over to ask for menus. Literally one other table taken in the entire establishment so the waitress wasn't busy. Additionally, after taking our order we had to get up again and ask for water. Aren't you suppose to receive a glass of water prior to receiving your meal and drink? We need more restaurants and bars, yes but we also need to stop hiring kids to staff establishments without any training. They hurt business and eventually kill them. read more
