This restaurant is our go to Mexican place. Always wonderful food. I travel 15-20 minutes to purchase our dinners and spend 30-40$ each time at least 1 time a week. Tonight I ordered my food. The carne con sazon. After my 20 minute ride home in the rain I got home to dig into my food. I realized they forgot the most delicious part of my meal. The queso fresco. I called them to see if they could fix the order or credit me a meal since I live 20 minutes away and it was after 8pm. To my dismay and surprise their response was" what do you want us to do about it". Not what I was expecting. Guess what? You aren't the only Mexican restaurant in town. You will now be 30-40$ short In profit per week. The proper thing that should've been done was to put me on the phone with the manager to ratify the situation. Not tell me "what do you want me to do about it".Your food will always be good. But I will not return because of your smart ass answer. read more

My husband, Mom and I went here on a suggestion, on a night that we were all hungry and noone wanted to cook. We were not disappointed. My mom had a chicken chimichanga, delicious, piping hot, and not greasy. My husband, I don't remember what he had, but it was looked like a burrito but ot rolled up. Just Mexican goodness, piled on a plate, covered in cheese. YUM! I had something I couldn't pronounce, but it was basically beef enchiladas. I originally asked for cheese, but on a suggestion of the waitress, switched to beef. Good suggestion! It was shredded, tender, and flavorful. No chewy strands in sight. The rice was a little wet, not much flavor, but I was too concerned with my enchilada-type main course to complain about blah rice. The chips seemed fresh, and the salsa was great, but you didn't get much. There's a handwritten sign as you walk in saying extra salsa will cost $3 due to the price of tomatoes, we didn't order more, but I think it would be worth $3. Service was great and attentive, but our meals all came out separately, which was kind of annoying. The place was almost empty, so I know our meals were the only ones being cooked at the time. Oh well, my meal, which came out last, was worth the wait. It's so hard to find fresh, tasty, non-chain restaurant caliber Mexican food in PA, this is a bright spot on the radar. I love Mexican after living in El Paso for 3 yrs and this is not! We keep going back hoping it will get better but nooooo, it just never does. Food is not really good, at least by Mexican food standards and it's not correct either. Chicken flautas, Dry. Salsa? Chunky tomato and chilies for heat, no flavor. Enchiladas ? Hahahaha. And what is up with the red and green sauce? And the cheese ( wrong and sparse). Last week when i went, (only because of a birthday party) there was one waitress for the entire joint. As a local resident this is my favorite place to eat. Staff is friendly, price is inexpensive and the food is delicious. I personally love the molé. One of my favorite local places. The tortilla soup is delicious as are the appetizer flautitas. I usually have both for lunch or dinner. Prices are totally reasonable, service has always been efficient and friendly. BYOB just makes dining here more enjoyable because you carry in what you'd like and don't have the loud noisy bar crowd. I love this place. Well, actually the only thing my family ever orders from them are the chicken/beef chimichangas, but they are delicious. We frequent this place on a pretty regular basis because it always offers super quick take out. We order from here at least once every couple months, always consistent, somewhat pricey but worth it. The food is good but whats good food with out good customer service.The reason I say this, because this place thinks there food is so good that they can treat there customers like shit. I mean i just called there to order chimychangas, and she tells me if i order it by it self i can only get the lunch size,and she gave me the wrong price of the chimychongas so i was about to order ,then she hung up on me ,so rude,bad customer service. So i called back to order ,so i asked the price again and one of the cooks in the back ground says there 4.95 but she gave me a price of 6.95 and all in all she had an atitude and guess what she hung up on me again, bad customer service. after that i didn't want order from there anymore because the girl had so much atitude that i thought she was capable of spitting in my food! read more
