Had a craving for their delicious chunky guacamole the other day. We decided to get that and some drinks. The waiter. Roughy out the wrong dip. When it was corrected the usual portion was still super small and whoever made it did. It taste it. There was so much lime juice we could barely eat it. What a treasure. Tucked away in a shopping center so you have to be looking for it, but it's worth finding. The restaurant is designed and decorated very well. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The Food was amazing very fresh and tasty from the Chips and salsa to the main dish perfection. I ordered an Old fashioned and wasn't expecting much more than a little orange juice and cheap bourbon. Well that's not what I got at all. I got a smoke show and a tasty Old Fashioned. The bartender presented my old fashioned on a wooden tray in three glasses. He commenced to burning a pile of wood in the middle of the wooden tray after the Wood started smoking he placed a glass on top, to let glass steep in the smoke, the whole table smelled of charred oak. After a minute or so he waved the smoked glass in my direction and added the one large cube of ice and the perfectly mixed cocktail into the wonderfully smoked glass. That was way more than I expected. The prices are reasonable, actually very reasonable. So in an oversaturated Mexican food market, this is the place to go! You wouldn't be disappointed! read more

Out of the many years I've been eating here, they still have one of the best Molcajete's. Even if you order it to go, there's plenty of food for two people. Molcajete is essentially a lava bowl that they put fajita mix in. It has beef chicken chorizo veggies. It is topped with an awesome cheese quesadilla. Visiting Radcliff for some family time and we stopped in for a good meal at Camino's. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. It was definitely a great recommendation by my relatives. They have a separate bar as well. Decor is nice, with a "stoney" look and great artwork and furniture. The staff was great and polite with fast service. The food was great, the portions are large and typical mexican fare, but they have a ton of options and all sounded good. Everyone loved their meals, and we had a large group. Overall a great mexican restaurant surrounded by sub-par fast food options. Definitely go here if you are looking for good, medium-priced mexican in the area. I get she may have had a couple of other tables but that doesn't explain why none of the managers or like the 4-5 hostess couldn't help her out by refilling our drinks. On a recent visit to El Camino Real, we enjoyed a good meal. We started with chips and salsa. The chips were sitting under a heat lamp and didn't have a great texture but the salsa was good, and we also had cheese dip and guacamole. The guacamole was quite good! We decided on the chicken fajitas for two, but it should have said chicken fajitas for four because it was a huge plate! We brought half of it home. When the plates came out, I mentioned that they forgot the guacamole. Instead of just bringing some out in a bowl, she picked up our plates and carried them back to the kitchen for them to scoop up some and put on our plates. I thought that was a little strange. The waitress did not come back to check on us until we were finished, and we were not offered a refill on our drinks. She brought us a box, but then didn't come back with the check until a manager came by to check on us and I mentioned we were still waiting on the check, and he went to tell her. I've been here several times and have always had a decent experience. The margaritas are tasty and the appetizers are more than enough to satisfy your tastebuds. This visit was different. I ordered my food to go and was surprised by the packaging. The cheese dip was cold and placed into a styrofoam drinking cup. The steak quesadilla was covered with a styrofoam plate. The quesadilla was soggy and tasteless. All of these items were placed into a plastic grocery bag. It only took less than ten minutes for me to travel from the restaurant to my home. I ended up tossing the cheese dip and just eating the steak out of the quesadilla, although overcooked. That silly little song, and the fact that my coworkers visit this restaurant on Wednesday nights for margaritas, are how I know about this place. And I've been wanting to come here for months, so we finally made it happen. The first noticeable thing about the restaurant is how bright and colorful the chairs and everything are. It made me feel like a kid again. They brought chips and salsa to the table fairly quickly, and they were also able to come out with my order of chimichangas in very little time. The chimichangas mexicanas that I ordered consisted of two chicken and two beef chimichangas, which are basically deep-fried burritos. In the middle of the dish were some lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. The whole thing was all right, but I was particularly satisfied that it was only $9.99 on the menu. I was here kind of in a hurry, so I didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy more of it. I kind of would have liked to try more dishes and maybe some of their drinks, but I imagine other items on their menu will be pretty similar in quality. The restaurant is a little farther away from Fort Knox than Miguel's, but it's worth the trip if you're looking for another authentic Mexican experience in town. read more

Found this place off of Yelp reviews while driving around looking for something to eat other than Army food. Walk through the front door 5 feet to the hostess, and they seat me 3 feet to the left, not exactly the greatest of locations and zero privacy. Waiter was there immediately but then I order a Michelada and he runs off only to come back and tell me they're out of Clamato.. Strike 2. I would note that they did send a runner to the store to buy some, this level of customer service - is UNHEARD of In the mean while he brought a water. Chips and Salsa were also brought promptly. The salsa was blended and I prefer chunky, but this is just personal preference. I ordered the shrimp ceviche. I like how they have the amount of prep time my meal would take right on the menu. In conclusion, I can NOT recommend this place for the shrimp ceviche or michelada. The reason why it takes 15mins for your ceviche, is because the prep it on the spot and this is a no-go. Ceviche is suppose to be marinated at least 24hours in lime juice.. I know this cause I make my own at home. The michelada, was off, can't tell what was missing but I left half of it there. This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant around the area, but sadly things have changed. The quality and quantity of food has went way down. The salsa tastes artificial and the chips are bland. They also cut the amount they give you half. The meats taste unseasoned. Anything with cheese sauce is has a minuscule amount and seems watered down. The food isn't awful, it just used to be better. The staff is a bit awkward to say the least. They have also replaced the Mexican music with hard rock and it makes the atmosphere just seem strange. It's been like this the last few times I've went so I know it wasn't just one bad experience. I'm assuming there was some kind of management change. Until things change for the better I would recommend going elsewhere. read more

I'm not sure if this place is under new management now or what, but it is awful and it used to be my favorite place to eat in Radcliff. The chips and salsa both came in very tiny containers instead of what they used to come in. The chips tasted bland and possibly old as well and when you first walk in to the restaurant you can see a bunch of little bowls of chips just sitting there. The salsa tasted like it was just a can of tomato sauce and I could even taste a metallic taste to it too. The cheese dip was extremely runny and never hardened up the way it normally does. Our server was also a little strange because the few times she talked to us she didn't actually come to our table but instead yelled out to us from several tables down. Based on the employees that I seen there, I can only assume that someone has taken over the restaurant and has their entire family working there. Terrible, unseasoned food, in a nutshell. First of all, I ordered nachos with no vegetables and they gave me onions and tomatoes. Then, the salsa was bland and tasteless. It tasted like water, tomato juice is a huge reach. The chips tasted like burnt, old oil and were stale. The meat was bland and boiled in both the nachos and chimichangas. It's like the seasoning was literally nonexistent. When I called to complain about my food 25 minutes before close, they told me the kitchen was done cooking for the day. Oh okay. Lol. read more

Sadly what used to be one of my favorites is a place I'll never return to. I brought my daughter for lunch after her school awards ceremony. We arrived about 5 minutes after they were open. We were greeted with a table full of servers/hostesses who didn't even glance our way. Finally a lady huffed and puffed and showed us to a table and threw down menus. There were still people mopping and the place smelled strongly of dirty mop water. I get they just opened but they open the same time every day so shouldn't be surprised. We ordered cheese dip to go with the chips and salsa. I did enjoy the salsa but the chips were bland. We both had to stop drinking the tea because it tasted strongly of some kind of spice mixture, like pumpkin pie. We noticed the table behind us saying their cheese dip was cold. When we got ours it was cold as well. We had to wait to wave down our server to get a replacement. She had replaced everyone else's but didn't bother to check on us. The food came out pretty quick. I had to request tortillas that were supposed to be included. Also the refried beans were very watered down. It seemed like a lot of the things were left from the day before and not made fresh for the day. We waited a long time for our check and a carry out box as well. Just a shame to see a place that used to be really good go downhill to an unorganized mess! If someone is paying toward $40 for a treat for lunch, it should be given as much attention as someone getting a nice dinner. read more

Our waiter Pepe was great! The food was delicious! This place deserves a better rating except we had to wait for our check. The problem wasn't waiting, no one was in a hurry. Who we believe was the floor manager was very rude. She was carrying food out to the floor to what appears to have been her good friends judging by her conversation she had with them during the evening... she yelled across the room to us, "Sorry guys! You'll just have to wait!" Caught our group off guard since none of us were rushing or even complaining. Our waiter needed assistance trying to get our checks to us and she was there "helping" him. Excellent food and service; however, OMG I believe these people are in fear of the INS so bad that they either play heavy metal music or country. When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I want to hear some salsa or some cultural theme music. If I want to hear Quiet Riot or Blake Shelton I can stop at my local Taco Bell and eat out in the car.
