The outdoor area was hopping with small children. Loved the turf grass outside. The pretzel was different; I thought it was delicious but Picky 10 couldn't decide if it was weird or not. According to my friend, the have the best burgers in Etown! ‍ There are a few parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant (maybe 5, with 2-3 slots being reserved for handicap). There are nearby parking lots with plenty more parking. As it was a Sunday, we had no trouble finding parking. There were a few people ahead of us, maybe three different parties. My partner and I did not have to wait to be seated since the friends we were meeting had already arrived and got a table. We greeted our friends then reviewed the menu. Since it was around 12ish on a Sunday, only the brunch menu was available. Not long after, our waitress arrived to take drink orders. Shortly after that, and after the drinks arrived - pineapple mimosas, apple juice, and water, we ordered our food...mostly everyone had a burger. I had the Texan burger/sandwich which came on a Texas toast, hence the name, and my partner had the Newberry Smash burger (double). Each came with a choice of "regular" fries or tots. I wanted sweet potato fries, but again, since it was Sunday, only the brunch menu and what was displayed was available. So, I settled for regular fries. My burger was good albeit a bit messy with the sunny side egg running everywhere! The bacon topping the burger was perfectly done with the right crispy/crunchy consistency. My mimosas was refreshing except I did not get much of a pineapple taste. The fries were fresh and appropriately seasoned, not too salty and not too bland, just right. We were all full from our meals so we did not even consider dessert! The restaurant was busy but not overly crowded, so the atmosphere was quite. We sat by the windows and were not even distracted by the outside vehicles passing by. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would recommend J.R. Neighbors to anyone looking for good burgers in a good atmosphere in Etown.

Eventually we were seated but didn't have a server until we flagged down another server and asked who our server was. Later saw our server yakking away in the kitchen while drinking a pop. We waited that 20 minutes to be seated and we had awesome service from Marissa D. She had a smile Everytime she came and checked on us and checked in the appropriate amount of times. Boneless wings disappointed but the gochu sauce was amazing. Medium hot was also a good sauce. The fries were skinny but pretty good. They got cold fast so make sure you eat those first! I finished the dinner off with a blackberry vodka mule which just had blackberry puree at the bottom of cup which I didnt realize until I drank it all. But it was still an awesome mule. The family seemed to enjoy the food outside of the boneless wings. I forget what sauce the in laws got for their wings but it looked pretty amazing. Decide what you want to eat, order, and find a seat. They offer a variety of food types - Pizza, Burgers, Asian, etc - so there's something for everyone. We chose smash burgers from the STREAT Kitchen. I got the Street Smash and upgraded my chips to tater tots. The burger comes on a large, Hawaiian bread type bun which holds up well with all that's going on in between the bun. The sauce they use is very flavorful with the pickles, cheese, and lettuce enhancing the taste of the burger. I highly recommend. Hubby got the American Smash and really enjoyed his as well. If we were staying in the area longer, I would come back to try other food and play some of the games.
