I was scared when we got in because no one helped seat us for a few minutes. Then someone came out of the kitchen to help. They were not in a hurry to serve us either. Salsa was spicy and good ! And horchata was amazing! Food was pretty expensive for typical Mexican food. Like 12-16$ a plate. (In my town we can get it for $8-$12) The food tasted good and we got really full for the amount. Not really sure what to say... Maybe I shouldn't say anything, but here I go.... -The salsa is just liquid. Some chunk would go a long way.... BUT it was free. -The chips are free and decent. - I always judge a Mexican restaurant by it's chile relenting... um... um.... I'm actually quite speechless. To be honest, my stomach is hurting. We were on our way to Atlanta airport to pickup our daughter and had to stop for something to eat. It was really good. My husband had the Steak Mexicans and it had wonderful taste and smoking hot jalapeños, so beware if you can't eat spicy stuff!! It was hot!! I had a taco that was really good. We'll definitely have to check it out again soon!! And to top it off they helped us get out the doors. I'm in a wheelchair and they were very helpful even though they were busy doing other things. Poor service. Very slow. All of the patio tables were filthy and covered with old chips. Asked if they could wipe down one of the patio tables, and nobody would wipe down a table, so we ultimately had to sit inside. There was also an ash tray on one of the tables with old cigarette butts in It. Enchilada was gross, and was in a gross tortilla. Did not taste or look like an enchilada, actually wasn't even able to eat it. I had to go get our own chips and salsa, the server didn't bring them out when we asked for them. Did not get my water refilled. Several of the staff were coughing (almost the entire time), and may have been ill. Drove thru before Halloween and we loved that the decor was great.. they went all out with hanging life sized ghosts and all. We knew that if they took that much pride in the decor that they would do the same with the food. Ok, so let's start by saying that I've been to many Mexican restaurants all over the nation. This one is far from authentic. To begin with the restaurant is too big for the employees. Why do I say that? Because the floor is not well managed by the abundant staff to clients ratio. I had to ask a server to be seated. I was not greeted when I entered. Once I sat down I only had a menu to stare at, for a while before I was acknowledged. No utensils placed on the table. I ordered fajitas, guacamole, and a margarita. The fajitas arrived with no utensils or tortillas with the plate. No guacamole no Margarita. I had to ask. Staff seems very young and inexperienced. The food? Sloppy and not well seasoned. Chips and salsa are really good. The chimichanga shredded beef is a little to salty for my liking and I like salt but the shell was really good. Now the margarita's are awesome!!!!!! If you are making a nightly stop in Tifton, GA or just driving through this is definitely a must stop in and try. The worst chicken soup ever, chicken broth is a staple in any good Mexican restaurant. It's usually clear or light yellow and has the taste of chicken. Quite honestly, the food is very good. I've eaten here a handful of times and have narrowed my favorite to the bean dip appetizer and Texana Arroz as my main dish. However, with every visit I have high hopes that the serving time will get better!! 15 minutes to get a drink...tea to be specific and 50 minutes to get our food. Taking into consideration the price- $9.99 carnitas plus $1.99 margarita- you can't go wrong- 5 stars. Bottomless bowl of chips- so if you are a large appetite - then fill up on chips because the portion sizes are in line with the price- lower than most. The carnitas are very good- moist with grilled onions. Rice and beans standard. Service great food fast- atmosphere pleasant. Nothing special but five stars based on my opinion that you definitely get your money's worth as far as quality and quantity! The salsa was to spicy for my wife so we told the waiter and he immediately brought a milder one. We ordered the fajitas for two, which is a dinner we have at Coyote Rojos in Dade City, Florida. The taste and delivery were very much the same as we are accustomed to. It was delivered in a very reasonable time. I would recommend the restaurant highly. After sitting down with my party of six, we were immediately brought chips and spicy salsa. This level of spiciness was extremely welcomed. The wait staff were attentive and accommodated my party's requests. However, the huevos and chorizo underwhelmed me. The eggs were far from fluffy and the chorizo's tiny particles were sprinkled on the dish as if it were added right before playing. The margaritas lacked alcohol proportions as evidenced by the overly sugared ice water blue rasberry that I ordered. What I did find at this place was a unique birthday celebration. Went on a recommendation from a friend (and other Yelp reviews)! Glad we did. Even though it was a Tuesday, this place was Hopping! lots of locals, too, and it's right off the exit, easy to find. Chips were fresh and perfect (and bottomless), the cheese dip had just a bit of a kick. not a big drink menu, but they had a good selection of beers. I had the pork carnitas-delicious and melt in your mouth tender. It came with rice and some of the best refried beans I've ever had. My mates had Texas fajitas-they're both big eaters, so they did individual plates, but should have done "for two", because they are huge servings. They do have a bar and games on a bunch of tvs, so this is probably a good spot to hang out if you're in town with free time.
