Very reasonable prices, I'd say 4.5 stars for the food, all things considered. Not the best chicken enchilada's I've had, but good. Margarita was very good. Tres Leches was really good, maybe the best I've had. Shrimp quesadilla was right up there too. Pastor tacos, with homemade corn tortillas, also very good. I'd say 4.5 for atmosphere too, which was good for what they've got to deal with. It's on a end spot of a small strip mall type of complex, but they do a good job of making it feel like a family Mexican restaurant inside. They've got booths, which I much prefer and you don't see a lot of these days. Not sure, but it appeared to maybe be a husband/wife combo running the place. Very nice, friendly and responsive people. Carne asada Burrito with beans and rice, wet style (mojado) with an amazing red enchilada sauce. It is my favorite burrito in all of Riverside. About $18 and some change. The Food is good no matter what you get, I think that the servings are well for the quality and prices they have. Fridays are amazing, they have Karaoke Nights, which help you get a bit distracted from your everyday life. It is a Family owned Restaurant which we love because they treat you like Family not just a regular customer. Went out to eat with my family and our kids. We were seated, ordered and when I food came out in the middle of eating. I looked up and there was a cockroach on the wall. We called the waitress over and she killed the cockroach with a napkin, she told us that she was going to see what she can do. When we went to pay at the front the owners wife didn't bother to acknowledge the fact that we just seen a cockroach in her restaurant where she serves food to people. Extremely EXPENSIVE! The food used to be good but now it's not. The food plates are way overpriced almost getting to $20 with the same size servings. They are sometimes rude with customers. From not wanting to modify a plate, such as omitting an ingredient, from where you prefer to sit. They never go back and check on you, if you need a refill or want to order something. They give you your food and just never come back. It's understandable that food prices have gone up but this is extreme. read more

I figured since it's a 4 star the food was going to be good. My food was salty and my mom's menudo tasted old. When we told the waiter about my salty food she politely offered me something else and I accepted, but then the cook came and told me that he didn't think my food was salty. He also told me that if I didn't eat salt then I shouldn't of eat anything because everything has salt. Then he said that he wasn't going to make me anything else if I was going to send it back because it's salty. I just told him I didn't want anything and we got our check. Friends brought me here the first time but the great food and service is what keeps me coming back. My personal favorite is the menudo with their homemade tortillas. It's a rich, delicious soup that I can't get enough of, as a matter of fact I'm going back in the morning for a hot bowl of menudo. If you haven't tried it yet you don't know what your missing. My friends who don't care for menudo swear that they make the best pozole they have ever eaten. Our neighbors introduced us to this restaurant and we love it!! The chorizo and eggs is amazing and never greasy. The posole is over the top great and served with avocado on the side. I ordered a lemonade that tasted like it was watered down. When i asked to change it for something else, they brought me the same lemonade with extra sugar.
