My family's favorite local place. The best deals and the best guacamole around! The staff work very hard and the food is consistently great.

I've been a loyal customer of this place for over 30 years, and this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to leave a negative review. On my recent visit, I ordered two tacos along with an order of French fries topped with nacho cheese and sour cream. When I politely asked the employee who handed me my food, EFRAIN , for a little extra hot sauce, I was told no. He explained that there is a "policy" allowing only two hot sauce packets per taco, and since I ordered two tacos, I was given 4 packets total. He refused to provide any additional hot sauce for my French fries. This was frustrating and disappointing. Hot sauce is a basic condiment, and customers should be able to use it on any item they order--not just tacos. Considering the already high food prices( and yes I've come on Tuesday too the tacos are still high on taco Tuesday's and the portions remains the same small wether it's Tuesday or not ), refusing a small request for extra sauce felt unnecessary and unreasonable. It costs the business very little and goes a long way in customer satisfaction. I was also disappointed because I stood there and observed other customers being given extra hot sauce without any issue. In my 30 years of coming here, I have never experienced this. Employees have always been courteous, accommodating, and willing to provide extra sauce when asked. Additionally, I can't help but feel that I was given a hard time because I questioned the delay with my order. I called in ahead and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes, yet it took over 25 minutes. After I asked about the wait, the interaction seemed to change, and shortly after, my request for extra hot sauce was denied. This made the experience feel unnecessarily uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I truly hope management addresses this situation, as this experience was completely out of character for a place I've supported and enjoyed for decades. read more

Was invited by my brother who knows how much of a frijolero I am lol. He ordered us the same exact bean and cheese burrito combo, which came with fries and a soda for a real good price! He also ordered a few shredded beef tacos also, those were good but this review is strictly about the bean and cheese.. Ok first off, the burrito is a very good size. The hotness and warmth of the tortilla was excellent. That first bite was amazing.. the taste of the beans and gooey cheese was point on. I've had many many many bean and cheese burritos and Tony's is top 5 for sure. That says a lot. The actual restaurant is a nice decent size , but it does get crowded quickly. The workers are very nice and accommodating, don't forget the red salsa bottle for your burrito and fries!! I returned a week later that's how good it was. Thanks bro read more

All the food is made to order, hot, and delicious. I love the tacos, which have the crunchy shells and lots of filling. Burritos are huge, hot and made exactly how you order. Restaurant is clean, staff is so friendly and explains items on the menu. You'd think the wait is long but it isn't. The cooks seem organized and seasoned. Beans are fresh an made daily, rice is flavorful and the sauces are delicious. American burgers and fries are my granddaughters favorite. lol.. read more

The service was good . The young man in the front was pleasant however the burrito didn't live up to the expectation . Being pregnant and trying a new place I really wanted to like this place since it's so close to home. The burrito had more beans than rice and meat . The burrito was not wrapped properly LIKE AT ALL. At best, I would say that you will have an 'okay' experience at this place. This is my second time here and it all still feels and tastes cheap. I ordered some chicken enchiladas and it was horrible. The plate, as you can see, was oozing with grease. The enchilada sauce tasted like it was from the cans at the super market, and the cheese was just a frozen slab they threw on there, barely melted as you can see in the video. The service here is also pretty bad, as the 1 churro I ordered took ten minutes and it was crunchy, which is usually an indication that it was just unfrozen rather than freshly made. We also asked for a box for our food, the guy at the front said they didn't have any to go boxes when we VERY clearly saw one of the chefs grab a box for a to-go order. As you can already tell, this place is very cheap with the service, as they give you paper plates to eat on, charge a dollar for refills, and only give you one-two salsas per plate, as it states on their wall. Which if you look at the walls, you can tell the building is not in the best condition either. On a positive note, the beans and rice tasted very good. So if you have to eat here, a rice and bean burrito might be the play. However, I would look for other options. read more

Used to love this place. Sad to see how far it has fallen. The kid taking the order was so annoyed that I was there it was palatable. I understand that I showed up 15 minutes before you closed and had to place my order, but if you wouldn't take the phone off the hook I would have called in my order about 25 minutes before that which means you would have had plenty of time to make it. Ordered the Tony's Burrito, I loved this burrito, it was disgusting tonight. Ordered my drink NO ice. It was completely full of ice, hardly any drink in it at all! So I got the same good flavor that I get at the location in San Bernardino. However, the poor customer service and dirty tables were not worth the trip. We called in a large order and went to pick it up. We entered to see dirty tables and floors. The lady at the counter seemed very bothered when she came to take payment. She overall seemed bugged to be there. Maybe caught her on a bad day? Either way, I did nothing to her, so she really should not have acted out. On the bright side, the food was good. I used to love this place but the last couple of times has been bad. Got all the way home last night to see that they had left of a complete combination meal and the enchilada that we did get was so hard that I couldn't even cut it and could lift it and the cheese up like a frisbee. I called last night and they didn't answer. Called first thing today and the girl on the phone started to give me grief because she didn't work yesterday. Great food! Really good shredded beef tacos that are fresh and tasty. Food is made from scratch and you can tell. I have been going here for 15 years. Their burritos are huge and very reasonably priced. Taco Tuesday is a bargain and a tradition. It's not fancy but really good. read more
