Have been doing to this location for a few years. We make it a point to go whenever we are on the way to the outlets near Cabazon. First things first, the restaurant location and the inside is nothing to write home about. There are ample tables there. The restroom works, but is nothing remotely close to fancy. That being said, we come to places like this for the food.. and let me tell you, this is the best favorite tacos in all of SoCal. Highlights would be the quesa- Birria tacos and the regular Birria tacos on a Tuesday. Tacos are pretty big with 2 being enough for me. If you like Birria , you will love this place. I was hoping to get few other options in my tacos (Chicken , Pork ...) but they only had chicken wings and for Tacos, only the Birria meat. Everything I've had here is amazing, but the Birria sandwich is my favorite. It's not a Torta, it's like a grilled cheese stuffed with Birria. It's always toasted perfectly and so good to dip in the consume. The Ramen's stellar, the Birria Nachos are great, the salsa has a ton of flavor. They have a newer chili oil salsa which is outstanding, the regular has a little kick. The chili oil is legit spicy. The consume has so much flavor and isn't too salty. I started getting a side of chips - which they make fresh to order. And I dip them in the remaining consume. While there are other good local birria spots, this is at the top. And, is the only one I've ever seen a Birria Sandwich. Which might be my favorite item to get anywhere. Everything's made fresh and the prices are good. I get a Birria sandwich with fries, a side of consume and a bottle of Pacifico for like $21. The owner also super nice, every time I go I feel welcomed. I like supporting small local businesses, especially ones where the food's this amazing. And one thing that really stands out, I've eaten here probably 25 times. We took this home so it's probably even better than how it was when we got home, but oh boy it was totally worth it. Is it the best taco in California? Probably not, but it definitely represents! The quesabirria was my favorite and they do not skimp on the meat let me tell you. The consomme was delicious and definitely worth getting with your tacos. After hearing Birria Little Tijuana was crowned the taco overlord of California, I grabbed my stretchy pants and went in w high expectations and low sodium levels. We ordered the quesabirria and the birria ramen, which was... aggressively seasoned, let's say. Like, did the consomé and ramen packet have a salty little fistfight and both won? I've had better birria... I'm not saying it was horrible, but I can't say it's the best either... but the tacos? Solid!! Crunchy, juicy, like a meat hug in tortilla form. Ate the food before I even got the chance to get photos! We were put onto this spot from a client recommendation while on set during a production and was noted as "the number one best rated birria in California" so obviously we had to try it out. I came in with reserved expectations so I don't overhype a restaurant. One of the best spots for quesobirrias I have ever been to. My group and I was about to take our order to-go to eat on the road but realized how much of a mess that would have been with the mixture of bumpy roads and consomé. So after an awkward re-entry we were greeted kindly by the employee up front! The birria had tender meat and all of the fixings were plentiful and generously portioned. We also had the birria quesadillas and the cheese and beef were absolutely top quality. Agua fresca and horchata were fresh and flavorful and didn't feel diluted when we were served them. 10/10 hospitality from the staff as they were offering free refills for our agua frescas which tasted amazing and helped beat the heat after a long day of production. Interior was a quaint and there were enough tables to go around for the off-rush hours but I can definitely imagine how packed and crowded this place would be during their more popular hours. I would definitely come back to this spot if I am ever in SoCal again and would make the trek even if I'm a few cities away! read more

I'm sitting here writing this review with a full and happy belly! This place often comes up as "the best birria spot", so I knew I had to try it! From the outside, it is small and unassuming, located in the middle of a little strip of businesses and a quiet parking lot. Inside is small but has plenty of seating available. Staff is friendly; a man greeted me happily when I walked in and quickly took my order. Having never been here, I wasn't sure what to expect as far as portion sizes or what orders include, so I started off with a quesabirria combo that includes beans and rice. I did not know before ordering but this includes 2 tacos! Be advised, it's a good portion of food. I asked what Agua Frescas they have today, and chose a pepin y Limon. It was cold, refreshing, and perfect on a hot day! The man taking my order let me know that the tacos do not include consomme, and a side of it was about $2. I added some to my order so I could dunk my tacos. The prices are not bad, but apparently what you see on the menu might not be accurate pricing. There is a note on the register that says prices are being updated. Just be aware of that; I paid about $21 or so for my meal, drink, and consomme together. Food arrived hot and fresh. The tacos are made with 2 corn tortillas so they don't fall apart so easily. They are also generously packed with the most succulent and delicious birria! The cup of consomme was far more than I needed for this; I wasn't sure how large it would be, but it seems to be at least a cup of liquid. I would love a "small" side option for just a little sauce cup, maybe 2-4oz, for a meal like this. Everything tasted delicious! The beans were perfect, too. My meal came with little sides of cilantro, diced onion, lime wedges, a small container of salsa, and I think some type of marinated or pickled red onions. I'm not certain what they were as I didn't try them. I immediately raved to one of my coworkers about this place and he said he comes here and really likes it too! Nice little hole in the wall in Corona. We have stopped here twice on the way to the mountains, and it has not disappointed. I'm not a huge fan of birria style Mexican food, but the food here is a cut above the rest. The meat is tender and well seasoned. I've tried both the tacos and the torta which are both recommended. The portions are very generous. The torta was much larger than your standard sized torta which was about $10. My son had the bean and cheese burritos which was also quite large. First the BIRRIERIA, so tender and flavorful!!!! These guys know what they're doing and two tacos are enough for most people. The birrieria and consume is something you will be craving the moment you leave. Although one suggestion is cheese, there is an expression "everything is better with cheese" my birrieria tacos did not have cheese on them and must be ordered with cheese, the quesobirrieria, my mistake. The chips are not hot and the salsa is a little on the watery side. Although I did not try the margaritas they look amazing. The location is the only bad thing about this place because it's located in a strip mall in the middle of nowhere. The place has an A rating on the door and I can see why, clean and relaxing atmosphere with plenty of seating. My fiancé and I stopped in during the grand opening over three years ago. The owner and cook were the nicest guys and really made us feel welcomed. The birria is delicious and the consome is so good we could have eaten it like soup! The portion of meat on everything was excellent, they certainly didn't skimp out on it. The inside is small but very clean. We keep coming back! We came back again today after seeing that it has been voted the best taco spot around (but we've known that for years already) to see how it's going and grab some tacos. It was packed and the line was out the door! Deservedly so! The food is still as good as it has always been! We hadn't tried the beens before, but we did this time and they were super flavorful, so I hope they always do them the same. Yes, I saw this place on the news. I read all the reviews and came with an open mind. This little hole in the all wall is conveniently located between the 15 fwy and the 91 fwy. Looks like there's plenty of parking. I called ahead to pre order for a 30 minutes pick up. It was ready. The gentleman who answered the phone was the same man who rang me up. He was so nice. I will say that the tacos were filled with birria and were very filling. I only ate 2. I do wish they had given me more of the onions, cilantro, lime and red onions. The 2 tacos that I had were good. A+ quesabirria tacos and consommé. So much flavor and well worth the mess. Their birria quesadillas were stuffed with meat but I didn't find it to be as satisfying as their quesabirria tacos. The onions and cilantro are a must for the tacos, but they come in tiny portions and I always end up needing more. One tip is to get the birria combo (birria, tortillas, rice, beans) and then add your own cheese and make quesabirria tacos at home! Nice and simple hole in the wall. The best you can find in this area. Clearly Yelpers have validated this. I've had birria in other cities and this is much different. First off, beef is the only meat they have. Some think birria is goat meat. This is not. The dorado is super simple. Packed with meat and they give you sides of fixings: cilantro, diced white onion, spicy pickled red onions, and can't forget the limes! The quesabirria was yummy. Also packed with lots of shredded beef. The only cheese they have is mozzarella. I wanted cotija on my dorado but was happy they hooked us up with shredded mozzarella. My favorite part of this meal was the consume (the beef stock soup). It doesn't come with the quesabirria like most places, but they offer small, medium, and large. Dip that quesabirria in the consume! Fantastic flavor. Completely satisfied. Nice people, great service. Place was clean and bathroom easily accessible. Lots of parking. Food (6/10) Expensive prices for what you get, and the birria meat was pretty dry especially in the tacos. Consume was good, but not enough to carry the meal. Can't really mess up simple ramen or cheesy fries so those got a tasty pass. Service (8/10) Guy at the front counter was super friendly and conversational, and was always at the front and quick when we needed something like extra napkins.
