Update. We like to come here for taco Tuesday. It's $1 a taco chicken or beef with lettuce and cheese. Good deal. They seat you quickly. You get chips and salsa quickly. And when you order you get your food quickly as well. Tacos are filled. Chips and salsa is good. Really no complaints. Service is fast. Staff is nice and attentive. They have specials each day. Margaritas are good. They have a large restaurant that can hold a good amount of people plus a patio. The bar is large too with lots of TV's. For what it is honestly it is not bad place. We've been here multiple times over the years. For whatever reason the food seems to be going downhill consistently. I tried to give it more chances, but this last time was the last straw. The chips and salsa were fine. But our entrées were pretty disappointing. My wife's enchiladas were dry inside and didn't have much flavor at all. I got the birria burrito. I would've been OK with the beef, rice, and bean filling of the burrito itself is it if it had any flavor. Unfortunately, it did not. The meat was just kind of very dry and flavorless roast. But to make it worse, the sauce that it came with was like beef stock out of a can. Typically this is the highlight of Birria tacos, and is very flavorful and well seasoned consommé. a very disappointing meal. I don't think we'll return. read more

Been a while since I had been to El Chile Bravo. I remember when the restaurant was significantly smaller. The food has always been a hit. The plate of carnitas was plentiful. The rice and beans were excellent side pieces. My brother really enjoyed his burrito, he just didn't read the menu when his dish showed up with shrimp. When we arrived, the restaurant only had a few patrons. After we were seated more people arrived. The hostess who sat us and rang up the check was a real breath of fresh air. Great attitude. Our waitress came around less often as more people came in. When she did come around she wasn't as cheerful. Maybe the lack of other available employees was tough on her on a Saturday, but still. Overall, the food is enough to bring me back in. Really nice spot. Room for improvement, sure, but there are places that I have been to with food that doesn't compare and lacking service. read more

Tried this place with a party of six for dinner. The chips and salsa were good, as was the tableside guacamole. Margarita was super large and boozy. The menu choices are overwhelming- everyone ordered something different and nobody was disappointed. Portions were large and flavorful. My only knock is that they seem to be understaffed. The dinners arrived a couple at a time which is awkward- should we start eating or wait? The dining area was clean and the music was at a nice volume for conversation. Saw this place when headed to a nearby hiking trail. Glad we stopped by after on the way back. It's centered in the shopping center and catches your eye with its exterior decor and sign. Walking in it's quite colorful. Decorated like a lot of Mexican restaurants. It seemed pretty dark but maybe that was because I was just out. Normal Mexican beers on draft. Had a couple of Great Lakes beers on draft as well. And the standard Bud light, Coors Light, Blue Moon. Opening the menu can be quite overwhelming. But most of us who go to restaurants already know what we will generally try. Chips and Salsa provided. Wife chose chicken fajitas. Which she liked. I ordered tacos. Steak was good. And Al Pastor. They loaded with onions, cilantro and I asked for side of green salsa. Wasn't spicy. Kid ordered kids meal taco and burrito. This was probably the only negative. And I should've asked but just assumed. Kids taco was hard shell, ground beef, while the burrito was a red sauce enchilada. My kid still ate it, but I can see where this might not go over well with other kids. Overall it was a good experience. I will likely return. read more

El Chile Bravo in Twinsburg is located in a strip of shops, it looks like a sports bar that has been converted into a Mexican Restaurant, not a great deal of decor inside, quite a bit of empty space, especially with tables closed to allow social distancing; there is a small patio out front and a large bar. The menu is the usual assortment of Mexican dishes. I stopped during the early afternoon so the lunch specials were still available. Chips and salsas were ok, with the salsa needing a bit of a boost from one of the hot sauces on the table. I ordered the #7 lunch combo, which is a chili poblano, chalupa and rice. The plate came out with a nice presentation and a good quantity of food. The chili poblano was good with the poblano pepper adding nice heat, although it seemed that there was less cheese stuffed inside then most I have had. The Chulupa was a soft tortilla topped with tasty refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes and guacamole, the rice was nice and moist. Overall good, but nothing outstanding. El Chile Bravo is a good solid Mexican restaurant, service was good, the food was OK, but there was nothing that made it stand out from other similar restaurants around town. A good alternative if you are in the neighborhood, but not worth a special trip. read more

We've been to this restaurant many times before card night. We are on the patio and tables were nicely distanced. All staff wore masks and gloves, and they were friendly and were around just enough. As always the food was delicious, piping hot and out fast. Frozen margaritas went down well on thus hot and humid evening visit. Chips and salsa were good and served for the table free. Main courses were chicken and habaneros soft tacos (yum, I had them), fajitas quesadilla and a bravo burrito. Everyone was happy with the quality, cost and portion size of their meal. read more

When I was there, our server was very nice and constantly checked up on us making sure are drinks were topped off and we had everything we needed. The food also did not take long, and only took about 20-25 minutes, and with the appetizers we ordered along with the salsa, it did not feel like it. Overall, very good service. The ambiance was pretty good, even though it was packed (Aurora Lacrosse Event) it still felt laid back and calm even though they were slammed. Food wise, the chips and salsa were both delicious, and we also got the queso and chorizo which was excellent along with the flour tortillas that came with it. I ordered the Enchiladas Bravos, and was a bit disappointed. The chicken was very dry and there was very little salsa verde on it. Even though the enchiladas themselves were not very good, the rice and beans that came with it were absolutely amazing. I also tried some of the food that the rest of my table ordered, which was the Taco Salad and the Enchiladas Super Rancheros. The Taco Salad was smaller than other local Mexican restaurants though it seemed like the perfect serving size and it was pretty good. The Enchiladas Super Rancheros came with five different kinds of Enchiladas and is topped with five different things, which is understandably a lot, and the person at my table could only eat four (we took the last one home). I tried the ground beef and cheese enchiladas, which were both very good and went very well with the toppings. Local Restaurant. We stopped in Friday night, and this place was swinging! I ordered their Steak Fajitas and about fell over from the giant portion. We were still eating fajitas three days later. My companion ordered a Burrito Delux. I also ordered a side of Cheese Enchiladas. Not because I thought we wouldn't have enough food but because I wanted to taste their enchiladas. We took 90% of everything I ordered home. My companion managed to eat his dinner on the spot. I swear each margarita glass is a pitcher! We enjoyed. read more

(This review is for takeout experience only.) My dad loves this place as they are close by and make potent margaritas. I've only gotten their takeout, but thus far it seems like pretty mediocre Mexican food. It's not awful, just nothing special. I feel like Taco Bell might have a more extensive flavor palette than this place. I ordered the Fajitas Mexicanos this time, which came with a ridiculous amount of fajita fillers, mostly veg and mushrooms. Insanely enough they forgot to include any tortillas, so we had to open a fajita kit we had in the pantry to complete the meal. It was also difficult as a take-out order to figure out what went with what, or if there were any other items missing from the order. I've gotten food poisoning from another Mexican place locally and I still feel like I prefer that place to this one. read more

Not a bad spot, but not the best either. This restaurant is convenient for the locals, and they make a bomb shrimp taco!! Other than that, the sangriarita was decent, but it lacked flavor, and the salsa served with the chips lacked flavor as well. Our server was nice, and she was quick to serve our mixed drinks and food, but we also ordered 4 waters when first seated, and they didn't come until the end of our meal (I'm sure she just forgot). read more

We went here with a larger group of people and had the worst experience I have ever had trying to get a table. The table we were supposed to be seated at was taken over by a large group of women. Nothing was said to them. Another large group of people came in after us and started pushing tables together and making their own table. Again nothing was said. The hostess could have cared less and we asked to speak to a manager. A manager never came to talk to us. We will never go back based on such poor customer service. read more

Love the fajita quesadilla and the little taco shell that the guac, sour cream, and pico comes on the side! The chips and salsa are good, and the margaritas are super tasty. The location is spacious, easy to get to, and there's plenty of parking. Keep an eye out for the specials they have on different days of the week! There are times in yelpers lives (at least mine) were hunger takes over and out of convenience you go somewhere you've seen, thought about going to but never looked up the reviews until your there...well then the reviews are meh but your already there and your hungry so you stay. So that is the scenario here and hey why not give it a try. Well the browns game was on so sat at the bar for good view of the TVs. The bar was sticky not like just wiped down sticky more like not wiped down sticky, didnt get the over whelming welcome feeling when coming in and definitely not when asking for the football game to be put on. Asked quickly if ready to order but wasnt ready yet. So then wasnt asked again for at least 20 minutes after that. I'm not trying to be picky but it just seemed like a really long time especially when the place was not very busy. I got some kind of beef mushroom quesadilla that I did like. Also tried a chicken dish with pineapple that I wasnt impressed by and the salsa that came with chips in my opinion was watery. Overall I would say at best an average experience. read more

This place is 2 minutes from my house so I might be biased due to convenience but we love this place any night of the week. Everything is always clean and comes out WICKED FAST-and hot too! They have a good selection of food items and big drinks. I always get the shredded chicken soft tacos and rice. My fav. Their shredded chicken is to die for-so flavorful. Any of the burritos are great too! We love their chips and salsa, could eat it all night-it isn't chunky and has the right amount of heat. Service is always fast-however they cannot always understand you and you cannot always understand them. Our waiter got a little stressed with asking about beer selection and passed us off to another server. Didn't bother me- but others may be annoyed - be patient people - its called authentic! I will say they always walk away and Im like "I have no idea what they heard-hopefully my order comes out right" but I have NEVER gotten the wrong order. So thats awesome! This restaurant is the first place in Ohio that serves the best Mexican Food and truly satisfies my appetite. Not only is the food as authentic but it really reminds me of home. I've been a little all around the world but I'm Mexican American and the food they serve here reminds me of my moms cooking. It's just as if you were to drive down south of the border and order this in Mexico. The atmosphere is just right for this type of restaurant and they really deliver the best quality of fresh and authentic Mexican. My girlfriend actually came here right after being really disappointed at pacos tacos in Solon... They tried to give us bell peppers and fried peppers instead of actual jalapeños. I really hope the people around the area give this place a chance. I sat at the bar for about 15 minutes but the two bartenders did not serve me. A couple came after me and got served and a man came in and got served. The lady next to me asked for more condiments and the bartender went to get them, came back and dropped them off and never looked at me. I complained to the hostess but still nobody served me. I finally decided to to leave but asked to speak to the manager first. I explained and he said maybe the bartenders thought I was there for a takeout order. I asked what difference did that make. I told him I the the service there was horrible and I won't be returning and maybe the staff could benefit from tolerance training. read more

Decided to check this place out as my SO and I are on a quest to find Mexican restaurant as good as our favorite El Palenque in Eastlake. We recently moved to Twinsburg and this place is 5 minutes from home. We won't be going back. It was nearly empty on a Saturday night and we were seated immediately. We were put in a booth right next to the door. In the middle of winter and with an infant. We weren't offered a sling for the carseat, nor an extra chair. So be aware of that. The hostess attempted several times after we were seated to take our drink and/or food order (within the first 5 minutes) and that felt a little pushy. We placed our orders. I had a Cantarito cocktail, Al Pastor burrito, and a single cheese enchilada. My SO had some sort of half ground beef/half chicken burrito and a steak quesadilla. The only thing that was pretty decent was my enchilada. The marinated pork in my burrito looked like chunky bits of beef and the burrito itself fell apart. I'm not sure if it was the way it was wrapped or if the burrito is just flimsy. It also came with this strange sauce that I can only describe as made of beer and hot sauce. It was effervescent and soooo strange. SO pretty much hated everything about his bland burrito. The quesadilla also fell apart. We had a hard time finding the hostess once we were done, for our bill. Another worker happened to be passing and checked on us. I will say that my drink was really good and a generous size. Plus they had chipotle Cholula on the tables.
