Always a good meal. Fajita's, chefs special bowl and Birria taco's are some favorites. Chips and salsa are great with plenty of refills always available. Victor and Pedro are so friendly and attentive. We have only had a problem with one woman, who I won't mention her name. Went into El Orito in Twinsburg expecting just our daughter to join us for dinner. The parking lot is always busy so we were intrigued, and it was convenient for our evening plans. We were seated in a 4 person booth, but, to our surprise, my daughter's family joined us. The restaurant was absolutely wonderful about moving us to a 6 person booth. We ordered and the food arrived quickly. Okay, so here's the thing. I'm a Mexican food purist. I lived in Mexico City as a child. My mother learned her recipes from the maids, and I learned them from her. I HATE going to a restaurant that self-identifies as authentic Mexican, only to have it be Tex-Mex. KUDOS to El Orito. They do have a Tex-Mex section on the menu, but most of their food is the traditional food I remember from my childhood, and it was excellent and reasonably priced. Compare to other Mexican restaurants in the area, their prices are a little lower and the quality comparable or better. We will definitely go back again. read more

Haven't been in this location since it was Rush Hour a few years ago. They did a very nice job with the remodel. Colorful, and love the wall they constructred to separate the bar area from most of the dining area. Service was very good. Attentive, food was delivered fast and definitely hot. My wife loved her Mexican tacos. They were packed full of chorizo and beef. The shell was between a hard and soft taco, so honestly a nice different texture than normal. I had Pollo Con Arroz. It was a large enough portion to take home leftovers. For what I am used to for Mexican food, it was a somewhat bland. I had them add shrimp and I was amazed at the size of the pieces and the amount of pieces. I just added some hot sauce and I was fine after that. Next time I will go with my favorite Chori Pollo to see if that is more flavorful. Prices were similar to what other Mexican restaurants in the area are like. So not too expensive. We will go back another time. Glad to be able to switch back and forth between here and our other favorite place, El Chili Bravo. read more

They are attentive to my custom instructions. The food is always top quality. They made a mistake with my tortilla ( I requested flour ), noticed the error, and remade the enchilada for me. This place might look like a typical, "Americanized" Mexican place, but in this case the food is anything but. Everything from the complementary warm, fresh chips and freshly made salsa to their delicious cocktails and everything in between is full of flavor; not salty, not blow your face off spicy, just fresh quality ingredients and a talented chef/kitchen staff who knows what to do with them. I highly recommend anything with pork although the beef (shredded or ground) is spectacular and the chicken flautas were excellent as well. This is a great spot for Mexican cuisine with a high quality taste and reasonable budget. When we arrived we were met with a delightful greeter who sat us quickly ... but not as quickly as the chips and salsa that arrived to the table as we sat down (literally the exact same time) which tells you right away the service is going to be great. Although, I didn't drink alcohol I took in some fun looking drinks on other tables, (pineapples filled with margarita), and say great looking plates of gourmet style Mexican food. Good food and good service also I always leave a good gratuity for good service but in addition to supplement the servers pay ( I have no problem with being in the restaurant business for over 35 years) I do not expect to pay a surcharge of 3% when i pay my bill with a credit card. The menu prices are not on the low end and should be a sufficient mark up. The charge incurred by accepting credit cards for the convenience of their customers is and always has been a business expense. This is one of the amenities provided for their customers. If they are going to charge me for this cost it should be printed in on the menu in large print so I have the option to stay or leave. This is offensive and I will not be back or recommend this restaurant. read more
