The gentleman helping me out when I walked in looked like he had zero idea what I was talking about when I mentioned the pick up order name. He then immediately walked away from me and went to the register, and proceeded to ask me what I ordered and at this point, I knew he didn't know what it was and he said, "oh, it will be ready in 7 minutes." I ordered only 3 Breakfast burritos with no meat or anything in them - so, I thought 7 min wasn't too bad. Boy, was I wrong. It actually took 20 min (yes, 20 min) with me standing there by the table until the order was ready with no number or anything. I'll remind you all that there were legit 2 other customers in there and ONE CUSTOMER received their order before our 3 breakfast burritos were ready! That isn't right. I get sometimes food takes awhile, but both of them didn't apologize or anything while I was waiting. I've been to Muchas Gracious waiting for my order before, and they offered me a free drink because they felt bad they were having me wait 5 min! I don't accept it because I felt bad, but the point is, the lack of accountability and customer service during this experience was dreadful. And to be honest, the times I've been here, they haven't ever been too nice to me. After the order was finally ready, the lady working by the grill stuffed in at least 10 plastic containers of hot sauce into my bag. When we got home, most of them opened up and it left the biggest mess in the bag! Come on guys. This was just bad. Plus, my burritos were greasy anyways and tasted off. (See picture of the mess). I won't lie, there's plenty of other Mexican restaurants and establishments I can go to other than Papi Chulo's. Pretty disappointing experience overall and I can guarantee you I won't be going back anytime soon. I'd give the experience a 1/10 and the food a 2/10.
